Chapter 57 - Eater of Worlds

The main character in question, was a few blocks away standing in front of a jewelery store, ready to exact his revenge. But just before he could step inside, suddenly, everything came to a sudden halt. The birds ceased their sings while the wind came to a stand still.

Everyone and everything in the entire universe, not even the likes of [PLOT] was spared from this effect. The only one who seemed to be unaffected by this phenomenon was the main character who is seen looking around in confusion.

He didn't know why everything but him had their time stopped but eventually attributes it to the fact that he was the almighty Primal God, the main character of this glorious story, and the Master of the most terrifying weapon in the entire universe; the Atlas.

Thankfully, he didn't have to wait long as slowly a distortion appeared in front of him, revealing a white sketch-like being that lacked facial features. It looked like the base physical design of a character that was never finished. No features had been added, the rough lines hadn't been corrected. Nothing.

The being carried a large camera on his shoulder, his right hand holding it in place, and a pl- wait, is that the [Cameraman]?? The main character was shocked as he had never heard of the physical description for the [Cameraman]... Was this character design intentional or could it be that he looked like this because he lacked physical description??

'Hey, can you hear me??' a voice sounded in the main character's mind, obviously belonging to the [Cameraman].

'Loud and clear...' said the main character not knowing the reason for their meeting. He continued by saying, 'You are the [Cameraman] I presume...'. The [Cameraman] lightly bowed with his free hand folded in front of his belly. 'The one and only...'

Now that was out of the way, he continued by saying, 'I've come with news that may or may nor be important, the boss of the bullies you had thought a lesson earlier today seemed to have had a secret holy bloodline that had been supressed by an inheritance that was housed in his necklace...'

He paused before continuing, 'The necklace was made of a material that I have never perceived before, it was also supposed to be indestructible but was destroyed by some freak situation involving a black ominous pulse. I wasn't able to locate the origin of the pulse but I saw that it only affected the boy... as if he was being targeted...'

The main character's eyes opened wide as he asked frantically, 'Did you just say a black pulse?!'

Nodding his head, the [Cameraman] confirmed but he didn't know why the main character was hung up on this particular piece as that wasn't even the main point of this story.

The main character on the other had was still shocked as he kept mumbling how that was ridiculous and never going to happen, almost as if he was rejecting an idea. 'Emmm, I haven't even gotten to the most pressing issue yet... After the inheritance was released, the boy immediately lost consciousness.

In the infirmary where he was still unconscious, I managed to peer inside of the boy's mental space. There I saw an old Master that had been conversing with the boy for a while, fast forward, after he finished telling the boy of his destiny and whatnot, he slowly faded away.

Me being the [Cameraman] tried to capture some of his background story by peering through his face, which I hadn't seen since the beginning, but was shocked to find that in place of his face was a glitch.

Now this is when things get quite interesting. I tried to peer inside the glitch hoping to gain any kind of info that could explain the phenomena but I couldn't! Now many would say, wtf you mean you couldn't?? You're the [Cameraman], you see all and nothing can be hidden from your lenses.

And to that I say, yes! Yes indeed! Yet, I failed to see through that glitch, which means that whatever was causing it, or whatever was on there otherwise was either not from this universe, or was a power higher then me!

That was further proven right when a pale arm came out of the glitch and pointed towards me. That is also another feat when considering I am the literal embodiment of perspective, nothing is supposed to perceive me... Yet that arm not only did that but also forced me out of the mental space and plunged me into the farthest reaches of space.

Me being the [Cameraman] though, I was able to return back to the infirmary in record time to find the boy safe and conscious. And since [Author] hadn't said anything about it, it must be part of the storyline and so I came to you...'

The [Cameraman] waited for a response but it never came. The main character was just standing there with a serious expression on his face. His pounding heart causing him to breath in short intervals.

'NO, NO , NO, THIS IS BAD!!!!! THIS IS SOOOOOO BAD!!! HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE?! I'M SURE I KILLED HIM THE LAST TIME WE FOUGHT, SO HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY BE BACK??? IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!'

Of course, the one he was referring to was the being that had influenced the boy's inheritance to be released, the being that plagues all around him with bad luck, the ender of worlds, and the primordial darkness; the Accidental God!!

As for the glitch and the hand and all that, the main character had a guess of who it was but he wasn't as threatened by it as compared to the Accidental God. 'How the fuck is it possible for that bastard to be still be alive???'

He was really hung up on the fact that the Accidental God had some how miraculously survived. After all, it was due to the that bastard the main character was in the weakened state he was in.

*Hearing the narration done by [Author], the main character was angered beyond compare before he corrected, 'Weakened???? WEAKENED???? THAT MOTHERFUCKER KILLED ME!!! HE KILLED ME!!!!'. [Author] didn't know why the main character was bitching so loud, as he was still blessed with a new life.*

* * *

[Author]: I don't get why ur bitching so much? You got reincarnated eko, why are u bitching?! Most don't get a chance like this!

[BOB.C]: U MOTHERFUCKER there was no need for me to die!!!!! You did that for absolutely no reason!! NO REASON!!!

[Author]: U wouldn't get it... For there to be a memorable story there must be highs and lows! And what better low is there than death??? Also this is a blessing if u think abt it bc after hitting rock bottom there is only one way left to go, and that's UP!!!

[BOB.C]: I genuinely say this from the bottom of my heart, I say this with every cell in my body, FUCK YOU!

Having said that, the main character turned his attention back to the real world, which had at some point started moving at its normal pace. Not seeing the [Cameraman] the main character let out a troubled sigh before saying, "Thanks for the info [Cameraman]...".

The POV surrounding the main character reacted, moving up and down, as if to indicate nodding. Ready for the story to continue its unfolding, the main character moved towards the jewelery store entrance, ready to exact his revenge.
