"Guess my mind was just playing tricks on me". Mya eluded, her eyes lurked around for the last time before she finally settled in her car and drove off.
Ben and his friends, Fred and Patrick quickly came out from their hideout.
"Where did she go ". Fred cried, his eyes earnestly searched around. Ben and Patrick's gaze followed suit.
" Over there ", Ben exclaimed, pointing to a white corolla car, exiting the parking lodge. He swiftly sped to his car, a black Tundra, parked a few meters away from them.
"Quickly, get in, we got to catch up with her before we lose her". He instinctively added. " We can't afford to lose her now."
A sense of rage and a wolfish, threatening glare lingered all over his face as he quickly sat over the wheel and boggled his seat belt. Patrick and Fred joined in at the back seat and they sped off with the flash of lightening.

Rubin instinctively glanced at Laura who wore a befuddled gaze. She had alot running through her mind. A sudden uneasy feelings made her feel something bad was about to happen but she couldn't clearly lay a finger on it.
With quite a worried gaze, he gave a faint smile which just said, " Don't worry, I'm here with you and everything will be okay".
She nodded with a faint smile. Rubin smiled again and turned back to Aixies only to find her, gazing at him with an unblinking, quizzical, yet bulging eyes. Her expression was quite inscrutable. She instinctively spoke up with a composed but absent and furtive gaze on noticing Rubin's gaze on her.
" Oh, umm, it's kinda creepy up here", she eluded with a fugitive smile, her eyes lurking around as she rubbed her hands over her arms.
"Got goosebumps all over – Come on, let's get out of here. Break is over and Mrs Bella might be in class now. We'll talk about this some other time, I'll leave first."
She ended in a single breath and trod off ahead, down the stairs. Laura gazed at her back, pained. Rubin noticed her hurt, he drew closer and hugged her.
"Don't worry so much, dear. She'll soon come around, okay? – Trust me." He mumbled as he drew her from the hug. He stared at her face and twittered his eyebrows brightly which made her smile as well with a nod.
"Come on, let's go, I don't want to be late for class". He added and pulled her along as he took the lead. "Where will you like to go today after class, huh?– I'll gladly take you anywhere you want, you know? ". He queried on as they descended the stairs.
" Wow, really?– you don't say. Let's go shopping then, I'm kinda fed up with this dress." She exclaimed with a chuckle and Rubin laughed, gazing at her with smiles and delight.
" Hey, why are you looking at me so brightly like that". She queried cheerful.
" Oh, nothing", he eluded, his lips curved in a smile. " Glad to see those beautiful smiles again, Laure and I promise to keep it always ". He mumbled to himself in his thoughts. He had already fallen in love with her without knowing
Just then, he noticed those quizzical looks in her eyes still fixed on him and he wasn't ready for anymore questions from her. He swiftly made an excuse to brush her off.
"Hey, hurry".
He shouted and sped off. Laura chuckled and sped after him as well.
"Hey, wait for me, you've still not answered my question ". She shouted after him as their back faded away down the hallway.
" Catch me if you can then. That's the only way to get me answer ". He eluded cheerfully.

It was almost 5pm, the sun had already set and the weather looks quite cloudy with dark heavy clouds.
Mya finally pulled over infront of ABBEY PHONE WORKS, not so aware that she was been followed nor the bad weather condition. She hurriedly picked her phone and bag and alighted only to notice those heavy clouds.
" Wow, it's looks like it gonna rain in no time", she cried. "Got to get this done and get out of here before it starts to pour– I really need that voice recording". She added, wearing an appealing gaze. "I promise to get you justice, no matter what, Laura."
She mumbled underneath her breath with a faint sigh and trod into the shop. Ben's car soon pulled over under a huge tree, some distance away from the shop. They watched Mya as she went in.
" What do you think we do now, Ben". Patrick queried.
Ben just stayed silent, wearing an unreadable gaze as he kept glaring unblinkingly at the shop.
" Let's temper with her car ". Fred swiftly suggested which drew Ben and Patrick's withering gazes on him. "Hey, why that look?" he queried on but they both just ignored him, turning back to the direction of the shop.
Shamefaced by their reaction he slowly adjusted himself well in his seat. " Umm, well, if you ask me, I'll say it's the best and easiest way– No one will ever suspect anything. It's gonna look like an accident. " He low whispered with a wry grin.
Ben glazed at him, his expression was hard.
" Will you quit spilling rubbish?", Patrick instinctively interrupted on noticing the look on Ben's face. " How can you possibly do that with all these people around– huh, tell me ."
"Hey, no need to be so tensed, it was just a suggestion". Fred cried " It's looks like I'm the black sheep over here now ". He added with a straight face which made Ben clench his fist, about to hit him in the face but Patrick held him back on time before he could go any further.
Fred just gazed at him, astonished.
" Say any further and I'll just punch some sense into your head." Ben added, furious, his chest rose and fell with rapid breath.
Patrick huffed with a deep breath as he gazed back at Fred and then at Ben while they all settled back in their seats.

Mya impatiently stood over the counter with his eyes fixed on the repairer as he tried to get her phone to start functioning again. It's been almost an hour since she got in but there was no sign of hope that it will function again.
She slowly tucked a lock of hair behind her ear with an inaudible sigh and spoke up.
"How is it?– Is it working and can I get back all my stuff on it afterwards? "
" I'm sorry ma'am, I've tried all I can but it's totally damaged. I guess you need to get a new one".
She instinctively raked her fingers through her hair, frustrated.
"Damn it! ". She cried. "Thus unbelievable – I was so close to the truth but now I'm back to nothing." She low whispered.
Mya thought for awhile and then spoke up again, "Alright, I'll take a new one but keep working on this maybe I can get my stuff on it."
"Sure, Ma'am – Here you go". He handed her a new phone and she took it with a blank look as she paid him off and turned to leave.
Just then, it started pouring heavily outside with strong winds.
"Oh no – Should it be now?". She eluded in frustration as she checked on her wrist watch. It was 7pm already.
" Good evening, this is MG news and I'm Gabriel Lawson– For the breaking news:
It's a stormy rain this evening and we advice anyone driving to park and wait till it's over else it may cause accidents. Thank you for staying with us and have a good night. Enjoy the rest of our programs".
A voice on the television announced. Mya had no choice than to wait till the rain stops. She took in a long deep breath and fainted into a chair nearby.
"Such a devil of a time today was to me." She cried.
