Everyone becomes too shocked looking at the scene before their eyes. The Lux whom they thought was weak and needed protection, beat Gilbert who was ranked 40 in their whole academy.
Gilbert right now, was even more powerful by the help of his soul weapon but Lux had defeated him without even breaking a sweat. They could only feel ashamed for not believing in Lux when he told them that he could beat Gilbert easily.
Anyways, right as Gilbert was lying on the floor in front of Lux, they rushed over towards him to look if he had any major kind of injuries. Looking at the 3 rushing over with a doubt of worry in their faces, Lux realizes about the situation he was in.
"Don't worry he doesn't have any major injuries. I will cast a healing spell on him right this moment." Lux says to everyone who was trying to see if Gilbert was injured.
As Gilbert had fire affinity, he chose one of the healing spells which healed the people having fire affinity quickly. "Flame Life" Lux chanted these words and tried to cast a spell on Gilbert but, to his surprise, the spell didn't even react to Gilbert.
Seeing this situation, Lux became somewhat worried if he had gone too far while facing Gilbert. According to his analysis and the amount of mana he had used for each of his spells, Gilbert should only have fallen unconscious due to the overwhelming force from his spell 'Gravity Field'.
So, when he saw such a situation take place, he could only worry thinking he had gone too far. But, an even more surprising event happened when Lux was thinking this.
Flames started surrounding Gilbert as he was lying on the ground. The colour of the flames was bright yellow and red which was very hot. Even the surroundings around them started burning after a while.
After seeing this kind of situation take place, Lux was really amazed. The flames that he was seeing right now were said to be the pure phoenix flames that were present only to the some lucky heir of the Heterox family. The noble family in which Gilbert belonged.
This flame was said to reside in every one out of a 200 heirs of the Heterox family. This was the first time that Lux was seeing these flames in real life. These beautiful yet fierce phoenix flames were said to be capable of burning even cities and countries to ashes. These flames choose their wielder in the Heterox family in random intervals of time. This was also the reason why the Heterox family were so influential in the whole of the nation of Wyvern.
The last wielder of these flames, Lucas Heterox was said to be so fierce during his times, he was known as the 'Flame Emperor' due to his control over fierce phoenix flames that could even make a whole nation surrender due to fear. Although, the real rank of Lucas was not accurately marked due to the lack of proper status technology during his times, he was said to have reached the God rank and even had entered the Heaven's Realm.
According to Lux's knowledge, these flames were to protect their wielder in case they were injured or were in grave danger. Just thinking on how much Gilbert would grow with the help of proper techniques excited Lux.
Even though the flames before Lux right now were so beautiful that anyone seeing them would want to just keep on gazing, Lux became aware of his surroundings being covered in flames. It was too dangerous to let these flames run free in this area. So, he alerted everyone to jump into the Dark Energy Lake while he stopped these fierce flames from running amok.
They silently and obediently followed Lux orders as they seemed to have believed him even more than before. Now, even if Lux said that he was a god's descendant, they would believe him. After they all jumped into the Dark Energy Lake, Lux started to remove these flames.
"Neutralizing Flames" Lux chanted the spell as he touched the ground beneath him.
Suddenly, the whole flames that were running amok everywhere disappeared suddenly like it was not even there. The 3 were just too surprised looking at this situation take place. They even pinched themselves to see if they were dreaming. However, they realized that they were not and they could only admire the powers of Lux.
The 3 rushed towards Lux who a moment ago looked very calm and relaxed, looked as if he had gone through an intense battle sweating all over the place. They simply couldn't understand what had happened.
"Bro Lux what happened ? You look like you are in a really bad condition" Looking at Lux, Killian asks if he was fine.
"I underestimated the power of those flames too much right now, even moving a little bit will be harmful for me." Lux says as he slowly lays on the ground.
"Gilbert will be conscious again in just around 10 minutes. I will also be going inside the Lake to cultivate after a while. You all teach him the things around here. Also give this note on the Immortal Phoenix cultivation method and tell him to follow these procedures for cultivation." Saying this, the Lux who looked really tired went to sleep.
Lux had neutralized the flames in his surrounding. If it was normal flames then, it would not even take a drop of sweat to neutralize them. But, these phoenix flames were about 20 times stronger than normal flames. So, Lux had depleted almost all of his mana to neutralize those flames.
Seeing Lux was just tired, the three of them lessened their worries. They thought that anyone would be tired of battling someone like Gilbert. However they didn't know what spell Lux had used to neutralize the flames. They had never heard of any kind of spell that could neutralize other's powers and spell.
'Neutralization Flames' was just a minor spell in Lux's neutralization spell series. With the help of his unique affinity 'space' and the affinity of any other spell, he had created a whole new spell that could neutralize any spell as long as he had the required amount of mana. These could also dispel curse spells.
Gilbert was too shocked even after he woke up. He had not expected that he would lose to Lux. He had gone thinking of teaching Lux a lesson while he was the one who learned a lesson. He was truly thankful to Lux and as the terms of this duel, he joined Lux's group.
He also practiced using Lux's given cultivation technique in the Dark Energy lake. He learned that Lux's cultivation technique was so productive that it even surpassed his family's cultivation technique of the Phoenix Heart. This cultivation technique was similar to it in many ways but it was a little remodeled which increased its efficiency by almost 2 times.
Gilbert quickly became level 17 by the time, they had to leave for their homes. He was truly amazed by this leveling speed. If he continued at this pace, he could also get in the top 1 rank by just a few months of training. That would be really beneficial for him.
While everyone was training all night, Lux was also in his soul realm while he was asleep. He had already found a way to cultivate even when he was sleeping. But, as he was aiming for a strong foundation, his leveling speed was extremely slow when compared to the others. But, still in his level 16, he was confident enough to even beat up to the rank 5 in his academy.
"As our group already has 5 members, we should officially name it." Crystal came up with a suggestion right when everyone was getting ready to leave.
"Hmm, that's actually a good idea. I didn't know that even you had the ability to come up with such ideas. I was sure that you were only good at arguing with me." Lux agrees with Crystal while still joking with her.
"You.. " Crystal looks at Lux being somewhat angry but she couldn't say anything to him. Looking at the exchange between Crystal and Lux, Alice feels that they were really close to each other. Just looking at them made her know how much Lux cared for Crystal.
'I wonders if he cares for me like that ? Crystal really is lucky.' Alice thinks Crystal was really lucky to have Lux care for her so much.
"So, do you have a good name you've thought of, group leader ?" Alice asks Lux, respecting him as he was the one who started this group.
"Huh? No I think you guys should come up with a name. I suck at coming up with names." Lux says while being embarrassed at the fact of being called the group leader.
"No, I agree with Alice you should come up with a name. Group leader Lux" Even Killian argues in this topic.
"I have also decided to follow Lux. Help us grow, Group leader." Gilbert also says with determination.
Looking at Alice, Killian and Gilbert respecting him and Crystal being angry over his joke, he quickly thinks of a name.
"Star Will. It implies how all the group members are so strong willed and how we all together are powerful. I am sure that you raw diamonds will shine brighter than the stars after being polished." Lux says in a happy tone looking at all the happiness and joy inside of his team.
These were the most precious people of his life. He had made a resolution to save them no matter what. These were all people he could trust from the bottom of his heart.
