Yu Pengkai quickly popped a health potion, desperately hoping that it would be enough to keep him alive during this second fight with Paracelsus. Although Paracelsus was a support champion in theory, his vats of poison burned magic damage over time and were incredibly unfriendly to melee champions like Alexander the Great.
And unless Paracelsus had wasted his Burn and Dash spells previously, flashing forward, setting up a pool of poison, and following up with a Burn would definitely be more than enough to kill Alexander the Great.
Yu Pengkai could already see Alexander the Great engulfed in flames, the fiery red burning away the last bits of his health as he fell onto the ground in agony. His only wish was that this Paracelsus player did not see the vision that he saw.
Much to his surprise, the Paracelsus continued to cower underneath his tower, throwing out vials at random, all of which Yu Pengkai sidestepped as he focused on last-hitting the enemy soldiers.
He used another health potion, his confidence in this fight increasing alongside his champion's health bar. If the previous Jing Ke had been too cocky with his abilities, this Paracelsus was the polar opposite, quite effectively doing nothing as he waited to fight under the tower.
Seeing the bushes alongside the lane, it was as if a light bulb lit up inside Yu Pengkai's mind. He popped a vision ward to the side, positioned perfectly so that the enemy could not destroy it with the vision from the tower.
Then, Alexander the Great strode away lazily, letting the enemy wave slowly push toward the middle of the lane as he made his way back to his tower, pretending to return to his base.
However, right as he neared the borders of the enemy player's vision, he turned straight into the middle bush. The clanking sounds of armor stopped, and he became a predator who anxiously awaited his prey.

Come on, he internally willed for the Paracelsus to leave the tower range and to approach him before the Jing Ke returned.
Taking every step with caution, Paracelsus peeked out from underneath the tower before making his way down the lane alongside his soldiers.
He walked by the bush, not knowing at all that he was in danger.
Seeing the perfect moment, Alexander the Great charged out with his W, his shiny sword hitting Paracelsus squarely on the head with a sound "clunk."
Unlike Jing Ke, Paracelsus did not even attempt to put up a fight and immediately tried to dash away. Or at least, he tried to do so.
Unknowing that his dash would leave him wherever his cursor hovered over, he effectively leaped a single half-centimeter on the computer screen, flailing his arms pathetically as another swing of the sword met his head.
Only, this time, he was stunned. Little stars circled his body as he was stabbed mercilessly to death by Alexander the Great and the soldiers he proudly commanded.
"Double kill!"
Content, Yu Pengkai finished off the last wave of enemy soldiers before returning triumphantly to base.

Yu Pengkai glanced again at the shop, confirming that this item was the best to suit his current needs. The items list had shifted significantly over the years, with new ones being added and old ones being dropped each season. He could hardly remember which had been useful back in 2009.

If he was going to stand any chance against Cleopatra, he was going to need this, he thought, quickly heading back to lane after clicking "buy."
"Woah, you got really lucky up there!" Josh commented, hovering over Yu Pengkai's shoulder. "But are you sure you want that item and didn't miss the recommended items page for Alexander the Great? This thing seems pretty useless to me."
Yu Pengkai didn't reply, pretending that he couldn't hear the boy as he headed back to the top lane. Only, this time, he walked with confidence. Even without a proper support, he could still dominate the game.
It was immediately apparent that Jing Ke had not learned his lesson. As soon as he saw Alexander the Great march up to the middle of the lane, he immediately darted forward. Unluckily for him, without Yu Pengkai purposefully standing still, he could not land any of his marks.
Maybe it was thanks to Jing Ke's entirely black outfit, but from an outsider's point of view, it looked like an angry headless fly was darting around in circles.
Yu Pengkai waited for him to get closer, knowing he couldn't do much damage without sealing a mark. And as soon as Jing Ke got within range, a stun greeted him as a welcome back gift. Or perhaps it was a goodbye gift.
With a few more hits of Alexander the Great's sword and some ally soldier aid, Jing Ke was sent back home to his base once more.
In the meantime, Paracelsus had been hiding behind the wave and throwing vials of mercury. But now that Yu Pengkai had begun to stack magic resistance, the little pools became more like a puddle of water in relation to Alexander the Great's health bar. While it burned away a sliver of his health, the base health regeneration soon made up for it. Seeing his teammate dead, Paracelsus immediately sped back to his tower, not even lingering for a single second.
This chance to free farm for gold probably made Yu Pengkai happier than killing enemies. He was so used to dodging attacks and calculating when the enemies would try to stop him from killing their soldiers, but now, all he had to do was last hit!
Subconsciously, Yu Pengkai began humming a little cheerful tune, completely forgetting that he was in the middle of a classroom. In his eyes, all he saw was the game.
With the soldier wave pushed up, he ventured into the jungle to plop down a ward, a little stick with a light at the top that would be generally invisible to enemies. Although it wasn't like people were roaming, his old habits got the better of him. Immediately, a little circle of fog was cleared.
Content, Yu Pengkai took one glance at the position of the soldier wave before venturing deeper into the jungle.
"Where are you going!" Josh exclaimed, but Yu Pengkai once again brushed him off.
"Playing around," he answered truthfully.
Following the mossy stones, he arrived at a little demonic circle of trolls. While the modern graphics could potentially render them cute, these ones looked absolutely hideous.
With their yellow teeth and blood-red eyes, there was no guilt as Yu Pengkai summoned three allied soldiers to take their hits and soak up the damage while he continuously slashed them.
Looking at his CS slowly creeping back up to an acceptable range, he headed back to his lane and began to shove out the soldier wave.
Only, a shadow moved past his vision ward.
There was no doubt about it now. Cleopatra was here.
