Today he would start the cognitive restructuring therapies and to be honest, he was really exited. It was not the first time he did it but he was curious to know how bad that boy's mind was, because for Yunki, he did not seem as sick as they said. But if his work has taught him something, it is that appearance are often deceiving.
He adjusted his white lab coat and with a small notebook and a pen in hand, he walked at a firm pace through the corridors of the Psychiatric, echoing every time the heels of his dress shoes hit the ground. Arriving on section C, he took the access card out of his pocket and placed it in the small scanner next to the door. When he heard the "Peep" that indicate that the lock had been released, he open the door and walked directly to room 15. Then he tapped the door to warn the patient that it would be opened. When he entered, he found Jaemin in the same position as last time, sitting on the edge of his bed, legs cross, hands resting on his lap and his gaze lost somewhere on the yellow wall.
-Hi Jaemin, do you remember me? -he spoke while taking a seat on the floor since there could be no other type of furniture in the room, only the bed.
The youngest didn't even move, totally ignoring the presence of his doctor.
-I know it is not the first time that you take this type of therapy but with me it will be different, okay? -he said kindly.
All he got was a slight shake of head, nodding but still not looking at him.
-Ok, lets start. Can you tell me your full name?
-Park Jaemin. -answer in a whisper.
Yunki wrote down every observation he made of the minor, his gestures, way of acting and his responses.
-How old are you, Jaemin?
-21 years old-said without looking.
-Why do you think you'r here?
-Mom doesn't love me. -he answers without hesitation.
-Why are you saying that? -asked curiously.
-They told me... they said that to me.
-Who are they, Jaemin?
-My friends...
Yunki cautiously wrote down each word of the patient. This was turning interesting.
-Tell me, Jaemin. Do you know what happened on June 10, of 2016?
The named turned his head, connecting his gaze with the cat eyes of the psychiatrist.
-No. -he said with a serious look.
Yunki found the reaction of the minor strange, rather than confused, he seemed angry.
-Are you sure? -he ask again.
Jaemin said nothing and returned his sight to the wall.
-Why don't you like physical contact, Jaemin? -ask the doctor.
-Humans do harm -he replied.
-I'm a human and I would never hurt you -he said with a smile.
The blonde guy was silent for a while, to then answered.
-Not everybody is the same... Doctor.
Yunki decided to change the subject, as he noticed the discomfort in his patient at the time.
-Lets talk about your mom, how is your relationship with her?
Jaemin began to laugh uncontrollably, as if it were a joke. Yunki just watched him intrigued.
-What do you think? -he answered bitterly.
That definitely caught the doctor unnoticed. As far as he understood, Jaemin always had a good relationship with his mother, the problem always was the father.
-It looks like your mom loves you a lot.
-She locked me up -said the minor between his teeth.
-She did it for your good, is for your health...
-Do you think I'm crazy too!? -he screamed.
Yunki stood up, still keeping his distance from his patient.
-You are not crazy, Jaemin, you are just a little different from the rest. -he tried to calm him down.
-LIAR! You are equal to all of them, you also make fun of me! -his face turned red.
His small hands tightly grasped the blonde strands, causing his knuckles to turn whitish.
-Jaemin calm down, you don't have to be like this.
-NO ! No, no, no, no... -he denied again and again -Get out, leave me alone. GET OUT! Jaeminie would be a good boy, I promise... -he started crying and shaking as he rocked back and forth.
Yunki left the room, taking his little communicator and pressing the green button to speak.
-I need a 5mg Olanzapine injection in room 15C, now!
Hearing as an answer "immediately", he put the device back on his pocket and taking a last look at number 15, he walked away.
He came to his office and sat down reading again everything he had written in the notebook.
Something was wrong, he could feel it. Call it intuition or overwork, but Min Yunki was pretty sure there was something else behind the patient Park Jaemin. Something that perhaps nobody knows and those who know have decided to keep quiet, but he was not a man to give up, Dr. Min would get to the bottom of it all.
That night he went home with the blond guy on his head. It was kinda sad looking at him today, such a beautiful man with a sick mind, and the worst part is that is not his fault. This world is full of cruel people and one of them had to be Jaemin's father.
-Poor kid. How can someone harm his own son? Thats another level of sickness. I hope that dude never come out of jail, he don't deserve to be free. And I'll make sure that Jaemin gets better.
The pale guy took a relaxing bath, put on his pijamas and decide to go to bed. It was late, and tomorrow he have to wake up early to go to work, cus even when he is the boss, he work every single day. The Psychiatric Hospital was literally his whole live and he really don't mind, is not like he have any other important thing to do, his life out of the Hospital was pretty boring.
