"Espeeu?" Ken questioned as he did not hear SPU completing his statement and looked up, only to notice the blue glow coming out of the closed eyes of the fellow.
"Kids! Don't look at him. In case he opens his eyes!"
"Yes Father!"
"Yes!"
All the guards present, as well as the king, butler, princes, and the waiters closed their own eyes and patiently waited.
A few moments later, SPU's voice rang out.
"I apologize. The Lord was contemplating something. It is fine now."
Hearing this, everyone let out a sigh of relief before continuing as though nothing had happened.
"As I was saying, Ken, you should get mote subordinates. And I'm not talking about the butler behind you. I'm talking about real subordinates capable of things other than taking care of you, no offence butler-nim."
"None taken." Replied the butler in an equally calm voice as he bowed and moved further away from the conversation.
"Hmm…but you could tell me all of this through that."
"Yes, but it takes a lot of effort. Speaking is easier. Furthermore, since your children do not have the blessing, they would miss out on this opportunity to understand politics and nation building."
Ken was stunned for a moment before realising. The reason SPU was so eager to teach his children was to ensure the continuity of the royal family, and thereby the kingdom of Cayden.
"Anyway, in order to get such people, we need to hire people, and in order to do that, we need to improve the living condition of Cayden, so that people are no longer looking for how they can survive the next day, but are looking towards the future. I hope you kids are paying attention because this will be extremely useful in the future."
"Yes!"
"Yes uncle SPU"
"Naturally, we cannot do this in just one day, and will take a long time."
Ken simply nodded, as the children were eagerly listening.
"We should first start with the capital itself, since that is basically the image of the entire kingdom, and as far as I can see, it is in a pathetic state. To solve this, you have two options. Do you know what that might me?" SPU looked over towards the children, who were shocked at the sudden question, but later began thinking.
"Send people to clean up the capital?" asked the 14-year-old first Prince James
"Yes, and who would you send?" SPU focused his gaze on the 12-year-old Norman.
A little while later, Josh thought up of something in that little brain of his and spoke.
"The Guards?"
"Yes! Well done! Now, that is exactly the first option you have. Send the guards to clean up the capital from both bad people, as well as literal filth. However, there are a few problems with this. Cleaning filth is not the guards' job. Another problem is that we barely have enough guards to protect this palace. So now what do we do?"
This time, SPU looked over at the king, who began pondering, before reading the king's mind through the system and nodding.
"Yes. Your thinking is completely correct. We could hire more people, but as you thought, we do not have the funds to support such a mass recruiting."
"So then?" Asked James, the more enthusiastic of the two princes.
"We think of an easier alternative. Remember children, if there is a wall blocking you, break through it. If you are too weak to break through it with brute force, find an easier method. Just go around it! In this case, the solution is with the lord."
SPU spoke as he pointed upwards, and continued explaining his plans.
And thus, began the long-lasting tradition of having political, geographical, scientific, faith related, and all other subjects needed to raise and maintain a nation, lectures and discussions with nearly perfect advisor SPU. A tradition which lasted many generations into the future.
