Heron sighed as he just charged into the one with the longsword and kicked the sword away before breaking both his arms. He purposely did not kill him, and instead broke one of his legs as well, making the man instantly collapse onto the ground, before leaping into the air to arrive atop the monster. He did not waster time with this one, since he was the one who attacked without speaking, and just very cleanly ripped off the head of the opponent with his bare hands, and threw the corpse over the edge.
Then he looked around to make sure no more red names were floating around, before jumping off the monster an landing next to the panther that was laying on the sand in excruciating pain.
"Hey, now tell me where a city is and I will not kill you. Although I may look like this, I am still a Ravenclaw. I do not break my word."
The panther looked astonished at the name of the beastkin in front of him.
'What bullsh*t! You should have told me earlier that you were a Ravenclaw. I would have happily taken you anywhere you wanted. Why would you hide this you fool!'
The man groaned inwardly as he tried to control the pain in his body. Suddenly, all the pain in his body left him as he stared up at Heron in shock.
His hands and leg healed enough for it no not hurt him.
"I told you I wouldn't kill ya." Heron shrugged as he admired the mazing capabilities of the new [Basic Healing Lv 2] he had bought from the shop a while ago. The only problem was, he did not have the chance to use it up till now, since the monsters around him no longer hurt him, while old scars did not heal. Furthermore, why would he heal his own food and give them the chance to escape?
"I will heal you fully once I recover enough mana, so till then just tell me where to go."
The man on the ground nodded in utter shock as he lifted his hand as much as he could and pointed in a direction.
"Alright. Then, we will go there."
Heron picked up the man and placed him on top of the monster before stopping to think or a moment.
'What to do with the slave?'

Jack did not know since when, but he was becoming more companionate to those who did not do anything to or for him, and was becoming crueller for those who went against him.
Heron read through the notification and nodded.
'The God of Systems is truly intelligent. Such a marvellous plan!'
Heron sighed in amazement and walked over to each of the slaves and broke all their restraints. He gave them some supplies and said in a righteous tone,
"You all are now free to go. Enjoy your lives from now on."
However, silence reigned. No cheers were heard from the ex-slaves, and no-one moved an inch.
Heron just shrugged and sat on the driver's seat on top of the monster's head and whipped the rope. This made the monster stand up and begin to move.
Suddenly, on the slaves gathered up their courage and finally spoke.
"Sir! We do not have lives to go back to!"
Heron frowned as he stopped the beast and looked back.
The panther paused for a bit before continuing,
"Sir! We were all part of the same village a few days north of here. However, a catastrophe struck us when a tide of skeletons attacks our village nearly killing everyone. What few managed to survive were whipped up by the man on the manta-beast that you were just riding. This is all that remains of our village, and we were all stamped by the mark of a slave."
The man said as he tore his shirt to reveal a still healing scar across his chest, in the words slave.
"No matter where we go, as long as someone spots this, we will be dragged to the nearest slave traders and sold once more."
Heron looked at them in slight confusion.
"Just run a-"

"I see. So, you guys wish to follow me for the time being?"
"Yes!"
"Hmm. Alright. But I will require you to follow the same faith I do."
"F- Faith?!" This statement greatly startled the beastmen, as they all instantly became more wary against Heron. It was widely known that no gods could accept the faith of beastmen, only fallen gods and devils could, from which the latter could only sign contracts.
"Do not misunderstand. My lord is not a fallen god nor is he a devil. He is a god of unimaginable powers which no other god can compare to."
"You do not trust me, right? Well then, let me tell you something. I have been wandering the dessert for many days, and I have not found any water yet. How do you think I survive till now?"
"…"
Heron followed Jack's instructions and pointed his finger upward and launched a water bullet at half power, which was something he learned to do when he levelled up the skill.
"This!!!" The beastmen all retreated many steps back as utter and complete disbelief filled their faces.
'How was Magic being used by a beastman?'
"This is the power my lord has bestowed upon me, and will do on you as well if you join his faith."
While Jack finally received another large following, his CP reserves were already drying out, since it took CP to make a system for each person, and the people in Cayden were also joining his religion. To prevent himself from looking like a weak god, Jack just created a limit on the number of people SPU could accept to 5. And to make up for the CP lost, he made SPU do some night time hunting within the capital itself. Although SPU could not level up, he could still convert exp to CP and send it to Jack.
'Soon. Soon my investments will grow and provide me with enough CP to live lavishly. Maybe I can even construct a permanent body.'
With that over, Jack got to work sorting through all the options in the CP store, while making SPU manage Heron's nonsense.
