"That didn't happend by the plans." Said the merman while waking up from the rocks of the deep. Around him there were no fishes or corals just a lot of stones and grass that grew on the sea bed
A mermans body is covered in natural armour that grows out of them and covers their pale skin. It is a natural defence that mermen are born with. It is hard as steel but very light for them to be mobile underwater. It covers there pale skin like a second skin. It starts growing from them from childhood and stays with them for ever. The parts that grow on them from child hood are the stronger ones and as they shed of from either fighting or aging it becomes slightly weaker.
Now, the bones that got slashed by the wraith are slowly falling of like rust on a blade.
"In the name of Etraw, why are my bones corroding away? This has never been said in the bestiary. Will this spread to my body?" He paused and looked at his mostly uninjured body.
"I took enough risk for a day." he thought as he looked for something that could help him painlessly break the bones. Sadly without finding any tools, he had to use the painful way. Beating it with a nice looking shiny rock he found beside him.
"This is going to hurt." he thought as he clenched his teeth.
The armour is spread out all over the body. It grows almost everywhere but the places that needs to flexible such as the armpits, elbows, and knees and Just like skin, you can feel through it.
Crack
he grunted from pain. trying to be as quiet as possible but sound still escape him.
Right now, his left hand is gone from the slash and all he has are the bones hanging off and disappearing from the corrosion. The bleeding stopped by itself from the corrosion but it didn't continue on like the way it's still going on in the case of his bones.
It took him 4 more hits to break his bones off completely. The bones slowly corroded into nothingness right in front of his eyes. He felt happy that his decision was good. But this also terrified him knowing that his entire left arm could've turned into nothing right in front of his eyes.
"This wraith is an unique one. I need to get out of here as quick as possible. The least I can do before quitting from this forsaken job." He was planning to quit his Sea Drifting duties for a while but now he has a very good reason to quit this.
"I'm just gonna crystal this message before starting to swim."
He takes out his crystal. Which was a tool that records sound and can only record one thing and will play it when ever someone uses magic on it.
"This message was recorded by Von....."

"Where and HOW am I supposed to find this guy?"
01 asked while looking for this merman who apparently is still alive.
"System help me, do something."
It has been quite a long time since he received the quest but still had no luck in finding him. Not only the fact that the merman isn't where he fought with them but also he can't see sh- anything in the dark.
[I would suggest using Mana Eye skill.]
01 looked at this message and palmed his forehead.
"Ah yes that's a good plan. The thing I can't find with my eyes open, I will obviously find it if I was blind. My god, why didn't I think about that.
[Let me remind you what Mana Eyes does]
[Mana Eye. Passive]
[Cannot see, can only detect through mana, seen more brighter the more Mana it has.]
01 remembered what Mana eyes did.
"Oh.... It doesn't make me blind. Great now I can find this guy. Thanks system. Activate Mana Eyes."
Instantly without any delay the entire world went black. Accept a few small moving blue light that looked like orbs.
"Ahhh system. How am I supposed to go around like this...." It was pitch black darkness so how was he gonna navigate?
[You do know you can switch between the two sights right?]
"Of course I did."
[...]
Taking the signal, 01 started looking for the merman. While moving he kept his Soul Vision and While looking for the merman he used Mana Eyes. Like this he found many things. Starting fishes, some weird plant that tried to grab him which he cut down effortlessly, some more fishes, some chests that he had no use of, and of course. More fishes. Almost everything had Mana. Starting from tiny crabs to big fishes. Some plants also have Mana. Since Mana is all over there body, it makes a silhouette.
Like this, after 8 minutes of adventure filled searching he saw a bigger then normal blue hue that looked like a human. He switched to his normal sight and confirmed that it was the merman and he is missing a hand lying down in the grass trying to hide himself.
"Found you." thought 01. If he could, he would have a big smile with all of his teeth shining. He blinked and instantly appeared just above the merman.

Lying down Von was deciding where he could swim to next that could keep him well hidden. It has been a long time from the fight. He brings out his crystal and ties it to his hand. The one that was cut off.
"In the worst case scenario I will have to throw this towards the town and hope it will be picked up."
He thought about just keeping it on him. But since this is an unique Wraith, he doesn't know that if it will just let the crystal be. And after a while the crystal stays still it begins to shine. So it will be hard to miss.
Von suddenly gets a chill behind his spine. He instinctively evades to the side and narrowly misses the wraiths nails.
The wraith looks at him but didn't do anything.
"It is surprised that I dodged?" Von though. But he quickly tossed that thought from his mind and started swimming away from the wraith.
"And this, is why I prepared this for." he said looking at his severed arm.
He made some distance from the wraith or he thought and hurled his hand like a spear. Without admiring it like he does normally he started fleeing from the wraith. Unfortunate for him the wraith appeared in front of him.
Stab
The wraiths hand went straight through his stomach. He looked at the wraith and pulled the bag from it's face. Revealing the face of a man he once knew.... and stabbed in the back.
"Ah... I see. So your actions do have consequences. Isn't that right.... Kibro?"
The wraith pulled its hand out of him and he slowly falling to the bottom.
"Maybe I shouldn't have send the message."
