As the three musketeers conversed they suddenly felt a harsh pair of eyes on them.
They snapped their head towards the area but saw no one there.
"Did you-" Killua trailed off as they all stood up knowing someone had to be there.
"Something wrong?" A voice came from the opposite direction. Their eyes widened as they looked towards the person.
"Chairman." Vera stated crossing her arms. Netero started walking forewords the sound of his shoes clacking echoing through the hall.
"Netero-San, you didn't see someone come from that side did you?" Gon asked pointing in the direction they felt the eyes on.
"No I didn't" he said as Vera narrowed her eyes as well as killua.
"How'd you do that?" Vera questioned.
"Do what?" He asked as if he were clueless.
"Just now, you were on the complete other side? Howd u move so fast?" Killua explained
"I have no idea what you mean." Netero said as if he didn't do anything.
The tension between the three grew as Gon looked inbetween them. Killua and Vera Vs Netero it seems.
"What is it you want? You don't have anything to do till the last phase" Killua said rudely
"Now, now, no need to be so unkind. I just got a bit bored so I'm looking for some company." He said as a smile appeared on his features.
"Look elsewhere" Vera turned her back and walked next to Gon. "Let's go guys." She narrowed her eyes at him once more before Gon put a hand on her shoulder to stop her. She only groaned internally and crossed her arms.
"I've been meaning to ask, any thoughts at your first attempt at the hunter exam?" He asked and Gon beamed. "Totally! It's a lot of fun! I'm glad there aren't any written tests.."
"It's alright I guess, pretty easy if you ask me" Vera intertwined her hands behind her head kicking her right foot on the ground.
"Disappointing, I expected more of a challenge.." Killua seemed to be getting more annoyed by the old man. "But I assume the next phase will be more interesting."
"You'll see~" chairman smiled.
"Let's go Guys." Killua turns to walk.
"Please!" Vera groaned wrapping an arm around Killua and reaching for Gon.
"Wait!" Netero called and they stopped again. Vera sighed turning back to the old man. "Would you like to play a little game with me?" This perked Vera's interest.
"Game?" She smirked letting go of killua

"So, we just have to get the ball from you and we win? you'll make us hunters on the spot?" Netero nodded "Easy enough" Vera smirked. She loves a challenge as well as games.
"Okay then, I'll go first" Killua said after he finished stretching.
"Sure" netero nodded as killua stood in front of him.
Killua began to walk slowly around netero, Vera narrowed her eyes watching his moves. Slowly more and more versions of Killua appeared all forming a circle around netero.
"It's like there's multiple Killua's!" Gon yelled in awe "one is enough to handle" Vera rolled her eyes as she could feel his glare.
Then one of the copies attacked and reached for netero's ball. Netero kept it just out of his reach each time as he continued to dodge. Killua got an idea as he jumped down and swung his foot to Netero's shin smirking.
"OW OW OW OW OW" Killua yelled clutching his foot as Vera winced.
"Baka" She beamed "my turn! My turn!" She cheered as she stepped forewords.
"You seem different from the other two. Why do you constantly wear a mask?" He questioned and she deadpanned.
"Secret!" She cheered putting a finger to her lips.
"And your wearing all... black?" He sweatdropped as she nodded vigorously.
"Just start already!" Killua yelled from behind.
"Shut up Baka!" She retorted throwing a dagger that just barely missed him cutting off a small strand of his hair.
Kil tensed 'I didn't even feel or sense her doing that.. what the hell?' He mentally deadpanned.
She turned her attention back towards Netero who was smirking 'she might actually be a challenge' he thought
She stretched her right arm by crossing it over her chest as she smirked. Then in a split second she dashed forewords. Netero was taken back so he jumped back in fright.
She sent a kick to his face which he caught her foot in his hand. She then countered and twisted her entire body, using his grip on her leg as a support, and kicked him with her other foot.

Or so they thought.
She actually kicked the ball that was in his hand sending it flying towards the wall.
Without hesitation Vera dashed towards it as well as Netero who was right beside her.
But her being the idiot she was she tripped over her own foot and dislocated her ankle.
"Ow fuck!" She cursed falling the the ground gripping her leg.
"BAKA! YOU COULDVE WON!" Killua yelled.
"Oh shut up! You didn't even get CLOSE to winning!" She shouted back standing up only putting weight on her good ankle.
She limped back over to the two and sat inbetween them sulking.
"Me next!!" Gon smiled standing up.
Vera clutched her ankle trying to put it back into place but doing that hurt like a BITCH.
"You alright?" Killua peeked over at her and she nodded without looking at him.
"It's dislocated, it needs to go ba- OW!" She yelled as killua had already pulled it back into place. Almost immediately the sharp pain was gone like Ging.
"There, you were doing it wrong" he stated looking away.
"Oh! Thanks lol"
He deadpanned "did you just say l o l as an actual word"
"💔😹😿😈 and what about it lmao" she retorted
"The fuck? How u speak in emoji" he asked but was quickly bonked on the head.
"No cussing"
"But you-"
"And I'll teach you how to speak in emoji" she Debby Ryan smirked.
The three of them moved at the same time trying to reach for the ball.
Vera being the fastest was in front as she sent multiple attacks and attempts to grab the ball, each being a fail.
Gon and Killua went at the same time once Vera backed off. They reached and reached until gon decided to get crafty.
Gon sent a kick towards the ball which Netero moved it again, but this time Gon's shoe flew off and actually hit the ball.
Not wasting any second Vera dashed towards the ball, faster than they've ever seen her. She was determined to win, but she was beginning to get frustrated.
Out of literal NOWHERE Netero came from behind and knocked her down with his body leaving her to roll on the floor and him continuing to run for the ball.
She punched the floor in frustration as she saw him retrieve the ball. "Fuck! I'm so done" she stood up dusting off her skirt (which had shorts underneath)
"I quit. There's no way to win!" Killua argued grabbing his stuff with Vera. "Let's go Gon"
"I think I want to keep playing"
"HAH?" Killua yelled
"I don't think I can get the ball, but I want him to at least use his right hand!" He cheered sticking up his right hand.
"You do you boo, mama's gonna get some sleep!" Vera clapped her hands putting back on her black cropped sweater and grabbing her shoes.
"See ya Gon!" She waved realizing Killua had already left.
"Bye Vera!!"
She walked down the halls on the hunt for Killua. Blood. She smelt blood. She began running towards the sent hoping her friend was okay.
Killua heard these footsteps and ran away as well towards the room where he could get some sleep.
She turned the corner and two dead bodies were lying on the floor blood everwhere.
"Woa, who fucked y'all up.." she muttered as she heard footsteps coming her way.
"Kil?"
Pokkle. It was Pokkle. He turned the corner and looked towards the bodies in shock "Vera?"
"O-Oh! Pokkle! No this isn't what it looks like I swear!" Damn why did she say that, EVERYONE says that.
Pokkle slowly backed away then his slow steps became runs. Vera face palmed.
"Oh for fucks sake"
