"She's gone! She's gone! Oh my gosh!" Liam screamed as he ran around the house. "Where's Marley?!" Liam screamed in panic. "Marley's gone! Oh, my gosh, where's Marley?!" Liam was checking everywhere for Marley, even in the most stupid places. He had run around looking and panicking. "Did you guys murder her or something?! Okay, I get it, you didn't want us to come here, but that's too far!"
Aspen openeder her bedroom door, "What?! We didn't kill her! Relax dude, she probably just left early." Aspen yelled from upstairs.
"No! She would've told me she's leaving! She always does. What did you do to her!?" Liam yelled to Aspen. Aspen walked down the stairs, she glared at Liam.
"I did nothing!" Aspen walked closer to Liam, then stopped. "Why do you think I would hurt someone who looks as adorable as a little kid?" Aspen asked, with an a peeved tone. "Like, for real, she has a style of a 5 year old."
"Why wouldn't you? You clearly did something!" Liam charged at Aspen, Aspen flinched, but when Liam should have hit her, she heard him screaming, "Put me down!" Aspen opened her eyes to see Soo-ah carrying Liam. Aspen laughed at this, Liam hitting Soo-ah's back as he's struggling to get down.
"Sorry, not sorry, but don't touch my friends." Soo-ah whispered. Soo-ah took him and threw him on the couch. "Say sorry." He said to Liam, demanding a response.
"Aspen, I'm sorry. I just need to know where Marley is." Liam said in a pleading voice. "She's been my best friend since high school, I can't lose her…"
"I'm certain she just left first or something. What if she had an emergency of some sort?" Aspen said, attempting to break the sadness filled in the area. "I mean, it's really the only reasonable explanation. I didn't kill her dude."
Liam lied down on the couch, "Guess so…" Liam sighed. Soo-ah looked at Aspen with a confused look. But then he shook it off. But it seemed as if he was thinking of something. He was thinking really hard about it too. Aspen looked at him and could tell he knew something, and he was trying to figure it out. She decided she'll talk to him tomorrow. By then he should've figured it out.
Interrupting Soo-ah and Aspen's thoughts, Liam added, "But I'm still so concerned!" Aspen and Soo-ah looked at each other, they both looked so peeved.
"Ugh! She's fine, okay? Now just.. just.. just be quiet!" Aspen yelled, having someone this concerned about something is super annoying. Aspen rolled her eyes and glanced at Soo-ah who was laughing, Aspen laughed too. Liam continued pacing around the area while Aspen and Soo-ah ignored him. "We already debunked it! C'mon, stop doing this."
Liam ignored her, "She would have called… She would have called! She would have called!!" Liam repeated, whispering this everywhere he went. He acted like he's going to spot her hiding in a cupboard or something, like she's playing hide and seek with him. He was so confident he would find her in a dumb place, everywhere he looked was less logical than the first. Soo-ah and Aspen just watched him walking around like a maniac. Suddenly they heard a phone ringing. It was from Liam's pocket. Liam took it out of his pocket, when he looked at who called, his face lit up.
"Hello?! Marley!? Are you okay?!" Liam said as he was finally happy to hear from her. He put the phone on speaker.
"Yep! I'm fine, I just left early. I left at like, what? 8?" Marley said in a calm voice, "I was scared… I think the house might be haunted, Liam, I think you should get out of there." Marley said over the phone.
Aspen laughed in disbelief, "Hah! Sorry sweetie, but this house isn't haunted." Aspen said in a low and more serious tone. Then she tied her long brown hair back into a ponytail. Marley sat there in silence until Liam changed the topic and carried on a conversation with her.
"Haunted, hah, this place isn't haunted. She's crazy." Soo-ah whispered to Aspen, Aspen laughed, and nodded her head.
When Liam hung up the phone, he looked at Aspen and Soo-ah, who were now sitting on the couch. He went over to them. "Hey guys, I had this weird dream last night..." Aspen said to them.
"What was it about?" Liam asked.
"Well, it wasn't just any dream... it was a memory." Aspen paused, "It was when my mother had died, Soo-ah was there too." Liam tried to avoid eye contact, they can't know about his dream. Liam kept quiet for a while.
Soo-ah looked at Aspen, "I had a nightmare, but it related to that guys wife. Remember that guy that we killed on Hillfield? Yeah, his wife is haunting my dreams now."
Aspen and Soo-ah looked at Liam, to see if he had experienced anything. Liam looked up to see that they were staring at him. "Oh, I didn't have a nightmare or memory. I don't think I even had a dream." Liam said in a convincing lying voice.
"Weird, but okay. Well in my dream Soo-ah was there, like how he was when it actually happened. But for some reason at the end, he got shot. But then I immediately woke up." Aspen said, as she made eye contact with Soo-ah. He started talking about his dream to Aspen. Liam found this was the perfect chance to leave. Liam stood up and walked up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Aspen shouted as she looked at Liam walking up the stairs.
Liam continued walking, "I'm grabbing my phone," he said in another convincing lying voice. As he continued walking, he reached the top. Liam walked into his room, and didn't come out for a while. Aspen looked at Soo-ah.
"Wait, are you okay?" Aspen asked Soo-ah. "You look so confused." She added.
Soo-ah laid back, "There's just something I haven't put together... I don't know... I just suddenly remembered it right now." He replied.
"Soo-ah, let's go outside. It'll have more privacy, so when Liam comes back he doesn't interfere..." Aspen whispered to Soo-ah. Soo-ah nodded, as they both got up and went on the front porch.
