---Earth, 7th ******* Provincional High School---
A teacher with black hair and glasses entered one of the rooms and inside it, there was an old man with white hair sitting in a desk and writing something on his computer.
"Please, sit down Mr.Parkers."
The man with the black hair sat down to a chair that was in the opposite side of the desk.
"For starters, state the current situation of the 'accident'." The old man asked as he stopped working on his computer and faced the man with the man with the black hair.
"We have settled the families of the victims, by paying a remuneration and the scene of the explosion has been fully cleaned up, principal Caelius." Mr.Parkers answered without any expression as he presented a file full of documents to the old man.
"Hmmm... What about the unfortunate one's family?" Principal Caelius asked as he was reading over the reports of the deceased students.
"It seems they didn't care at all. We paid the renumeration for them as well, but the amount required was way lower than expected." Mr.Parkers answered as he was adjusting his glasses.
"Not surprised. Considering what happened 5 years ago, I would expect the relationship between them and their child as rocky as it would have been, but I should have expected that they wouldn't have cared. What a pity for that child as well, dying unfairly and not even having the luxury of someone mourning him. Truly a huge pity." Principal Caelius explained as he was rubbing his forehead and putting down the document he was holding.
"Any parent would feel apprehensive about taking care of a child that caused 'that' incident. I'm surprised that they didn't disown him at all. Instead, they just cut their ties and let him stay with their relative." Mr.Parkers answered seriously as he was collecting the documents and put them again into the file holder.
"Anyways, has the deal gone through with them?"
"It has. After all, this was the whole reason the 'accident' had happened."
"Mr.Parker, do you know why people are assassinated?" Principal Caelius's expression suddenly turned grim and serious and started to exclude heavy killing intent before adding:
"Because they were either the enemy of some person who would hinder their plans, the means of giving trouble to give trouble to someone's opponent or to silence them because of forbidden knowledge. Remember that well and you'll get to live a long life, Ethan Parkers."
After Principal Caelius finished his little explanation, he left his office, leaving Mr.Parkers alone in the office. Then, he took out a handkerchief and started to wipe his sweaty forehead and said with a serious expression:
"Figured you wouldn't open your mouth about the reason getting Soren involved into your mess. Who would believe that you got someone accidentally killed, agent Scourge?" After that, he left the office silently without looking back.
...
...
...
"Shouldn't you already know the answer to that already?" The entity asked with a smirk as he was looking at Sixteen's face of disbelief with his shining red eyes.
"What the...? How...? How is this possible?" Sixteen asked as he was experiencing the biggest shock of his life. He was prepared for almost any kind of scenario, even the scenario where his boss would have been punished with death. but the thing he was witnessing in front of him, was something he had never expected.
"I don't mind giving any explanations, but first..." At that moment, the blade suddenly turned white and cut the arrow in half, then he instantly pulled the tip of the arrow from his chest. After that, a dark haze started to appear from his hand as it was covering and piercing through his wound for a few seconds and once the dark haze stopped, his hand started to glow while and then started to close and open his hand quickly, as if he was squeezing a stress ball and in the end, he exhaled as if he was holding his breath of a long time.
"Holy sh*t, that was a horrible experience. No one should ever experience how it feels to be pierced with an arrow into the heart." The entity yelled as he was holding onto his chest, as if he was feeling a heart attack. Sixteen on the other hand had an expression of complete disbelief. He couldn't even process the events that were happening right in front of him, so he asked as he was stuttering:
"W-What...? J-Just, what are you? W-What in the actual f*ck are you?"
"I'm the thing that you are probably thinking right now, but I am a bit different than you might have expected. But if I had to gibe myself a name, I guess the name Neros fits pretty well for me." The entity answered with a mocking smirk as he was looking down on Sixteen.
"Tsk. I don't give a squat about what you are going to call yourself, but I know what I am going to do with you right now." At that moment, Sixteen focused once again and drew quickly another arrow and shot it straight towards Neros' head. Neros on the other hand, tilted his head to the right and dodged the arrow from hitting him.
"Eh... seven out of ten. Could use a bit more aim. Definitely a fast arrow, I'll say, but it's still improvable." Neros explained with a calm and thoughtful expression as he was touching the left cheek that nearly touched the arrow.
"Tsk. That it." Sixteen shouted furiously as he loaded three arrows on his bow that slowly started to exclude a black light. Before the arrows could be fired though, a hand appeared behind Sixteen and grabbed his shoulder.
"That's enough." The man who appeared behind Sixteen spoke suddenly before Sixteen put down his bow. The man behind him had long black hair, purple eyes and had a purple tail and then added with a serious expression:
"Our time is up. Fifteen has already been transfered to a safe location."
"But what about-" Before Sixteen could even finish his sentence, a huge crack appeared above the three of them.
"Tsk. We are not done yet." Sixteen then left angrily as he put his bow away in the tiny bag where the red book was stored in. The black-haired man on the other hand hadn't left yet and was staring at Neros as the cracks were becoming bigger and bigger.
"So, it has been 5 years since then, Heiran." Neros suddenly spoke as he was staring at the black-haired man.
"So it would seem. I didn't expect to see you here. I figured that you would have decayed in a peaceful world already." Heiran answered back as he was giving a small smile.
"The kid was just unlucky for getting involved into an accident." Neros commented in a uncaring manner as he shrugged.
"You think he can handle himself in this new world? You may know how this world works because this information has been passed from me back then, but the kid doesn't know how this world works." Heiran asked as he was moving his neck a bit around.
"I'll probably find a way to get along with him. Can't say he will be willing to get along with me though. Especially after what happened back then." Neros answered with an annoyed expression as the cracks started to touch the ground.
"Well, I'll leave you two get along then." At that moment, the barrier suddenly broke, as if it was made out of glass and Heiran had disappeared completely. Neros also saw that people were starting to swim down the roads and it wouldn't be long before the remains of the explosions were found out, so he quickly left the area.
After a little while, he finally stopped at one of the town squares. At that moment, he decided to sit on one of the nearby benches and then exhaled, or mimicked a motion of exhale as he lowered his head in exhaustion.
"That's one hell of a way to wake up again. Can't say I was expecting to return back to the world of Valla though. Tsk, what a mess I have gotten myself into." Neros complained as he was scratching his head.
"Soren? Soren? What are doing here Soren?" Suddenly, a voice was heard from behind and that voice belonged to Rohan.
"Eh?" Neros was extremely surprised from the fact that someone was calling him, so he answered nervously:
"Oh... J-Just sitting and l-looking around..."
"Looking around? Don't you have any preparations to do for when you move to train for the next few months? You can't stay alone in a place without an adult to look after you." Rohan answered seriously as he was getting closer to him before sitting next to him.
"So, when will you..." Before he could finish his sentence though, he saw Neros' red eyes and then took out his sword out of his back as he asked with a cold expression:
"Who are you and what have you done to Soren?"
