After a very mouthwatering dinner prepared by Susan, she was expecting that she would want to sleep early. But she guessed her excitement was enough for her adrenaline to run on her system, making her wide awake.
She excused herself from the table and decided to walk outside on the outer deck of the house. Daniel would like to go with her, but she stopped him. "I'll be fine. I just want some fresh air. I'm sure you and Joe had so much to catch up on." He wanted to protest, but she would not allow it.
Once outside, she was amazed again at the beauty of this place. The wind was blowing mildly, but she could feel a slight chill in the air, which was not what she was expecting since it was so hot when they arrived.
