I just boarded the plane with Daniel at my side. He insisted to accompany me on my way home. He just wanted to make sure that I was safe. He never tried to question me about what happened, but I knew he was just waiting for me to tell him my story.
I did plan to tell him, but I just was not ready yet. Maybe later, I would, but not everything. There were just secrets that I would rather keep to myself. But I had to tell them something because the news would eventually come out about what happened.
I just had no idea what Nathan would be telling his family about our canceled wedding. On my side, I also had no idea yet of what I should be telling my family and friends. Speaking of friends, I still had to call them and inform them that the wedding was off.
"Are you ok? Do you need anything?" Daniel asked as he sat beside me on the plane.
