I went to visit Gemma at her new home, finally, her doctor told her that she did not need close supervision since she got past her first trimester. But the doctor still advised that she took it easy and stay home for a while.
"Scarlet." Gemma greeted me at the door as soon as she saw me. I could slightly see the baby bump, but it was still too small to be noticeable unless they were familiar with Gemma's body like I was.
"Gemma, I miss you." I suddenly felt guilty that I was not able to visit her like I previously planned. Being with Nathan, and then the sudden engagement, ruined every plan I had. "You have a lovely place," I commented upon seeing the front of the house and the living room.
