I went out of my room and found my mom sitting at the kitchen counter. "Are you feeling much better now?" She asked with concern visible in her expression.
"I think so. I had a dream, but I think it was more of a vision of what happened during the fire." I told her, feeling calmer. I felt a bit refreshed from the peaceful night I had. This time, the dream did not feel like a nightmare as it smoothly played in my thoughts while I was unconscious.
When I woke up, it was all still fresh on my mind. The big mystery of my life was like a video playing in my head without an ending. Now, I was making it a point to see to it that she finally put a dot on this part of her life. To do that, I had to rein on my emotions.
