Ava was hosed off by Antonio and was now currently sitting across from him in his room. "What is going on Avalon?"
"… I'm sorry Antonio. I wanted to tell you… but I couldn't it was apart of the deal. The only people that know are those of the house and my immediate family. But when I finally finish this then one of my goals in this life will finally be realized, and I'll never have to deal with them again."
"I'm not mad Ava. But do you know how worried me and Chloe have been since you disappeared?" Antonio muttered placing a hand lightly on Ava's.
"I'm sorry… I didn't mean to make the two of you worry. If I knew that was the case I would have told you sooner. When you send a letter to Chloe tell her I'm alright please."
"Why don't you?"
"The letters that I send out are looked over."
"Ava I'm going to help you out."
"What? But Chloe she's defiantly waiting for you."
"She would tell me to do this anyway. You are our hope Ava, you've done so much for everyone. You can ask any one of us and we'd be more than happy to help you out of the crappy situation you are in."
"Thank you… thank you so much, Antonio. You are more than someone like me deserves." Ava muttered holding tightly onto his hands her body shaking slightly.
"It's alright. You've been through a lot, but don't worry I'm on your side now."
"Right."
Ava squeezed Antonio's hand for a few moments. "Sigh… When the battery exploded and you protected me you gave me a heart attack."
"Why? You now my ability Immunity makes it so such things have no effect on me, sulphuric acid is just like water to this body of mine. Also with my other ability Physic, we didn't have to worry about shrapnel." Ava laughed with a smirk.
"At the time you were just Roan to me. Not the Queen of the Esper's, the legend Silver Esper Avalon Kanze."
"Haha… right sorry. So I'm guessing your ability Electric informed you about the battery."
"Yeah, it told me it was a ticking time bomb so yesterday I had gotten some powerful basic solutions to counteract the acid."
"Hmm… well that was the right call, sadly sooner than you expected. Tor doesn't use that term…"
"Right right."
"Sigh it is not that it is wrong it is just… you people in this world have yet to learn about others like us… it's something from my original world it fine when we are home but not here. We should avoid talking about Espers and abilities from now on. And don't talk about that particular thing either please."
"I understand sorry Ava."
'Antonio is aware of my situation… that being I was originally from another world. But after what happened in my past life I need to be careful especially with the military of this unknown country that I'm living in. There are so many weird things about this alternate world that I'm surprised that some of the countries exist, and some of the events that happened in my world in the past and around this time are occurring.
'But the biggest difference is that Esper's and abilities are not common knowledge… those that reveal their abilities are called monsters and often experimented on. But even if this world is different things will likely happen as it did in my original world. Well, I'm going to change some things either way regardless of the consequences.' Ava thought leaning back slightly looking at the roof.
Esper's is the term from Avalon's original world for a person with unique abilities, they are an advanced race of humans. As they have special abilities and are physically advanced in comparison to the average human. Esper's have a wide range of abilities that can not be understood by modern science. Avalon being a person of two worlds is called a double esper as she has two abilities in her original world she was one of the strongest Esper in existence and knows she's even more powerful with two abilities, hence the reason Antonio called her the queen/Silver Esper.
With things, all said and done Ava and Antonio left together. "You know I should have known with the swordsmanship. You've always been obsessed with it, same with knife throwing and—"
"Ga! Antonio shut up! It's not that weird."
"It's quite weird."
"Mmm~ stop teasing me you jerk! This world doesn't understand the usefulness of these skills against us." Roan exclaimed hitting Antonio lightly on the shoulder. Antonio just laughed with a big smile.
"You know I've missed this."
"… Me too." Roan replied with a mumble.
"I've really missed your stories too." Antonio chuckled before ruffling Ava's hair she just let out an annoyed huff with her arms crossed.
"Mmm. For that comment, you're being my sparring partner tomorrow."
The two of them then made their way over to the mess hall where some others in the unit were already here eating. "Hey Roan, what about your twin brother?"
"What about him?"
"Well, I know your plan and all that. But you don't have that bad of a relationship with Shane. Honestly, it's a pretty decent sibling relationship."
"I've told him… and he's aware of what I plan on doing. It is up to him what he will be doing when things come to pass." Ro replied in a low tone before taking a bite of her food.
"I see."
The two talked about the last few years since they've last seen each other when Lt. Bailey came over and joined them at the table. "The two of you have gotten closer suddenly."
"Well after having a battery explode in front of you, wouldn't you get closer to the person you were with when it happened."
"That is a very reasonable point."
Antonio gave Ava a slight look like did you do this and she shook her head as Bailey just completely bought the reason that she just gave. Ava then felt someone's gaze on her causing her to look around but didn't see anyone in particular. She then continued to talk with Bailey and Antonio during dinner.
