Kurtz' POV:
I went through the day as usual, daydreaming without a care about the lesson. Although I managed to hide my strength, I can't help but notice the gazes and murmurs around me, mostly abou how I've changed. I thought it was my imagination at first so I made sure about it by using magic.
{Enhanced Hearing}
"Hey, don't you think he changed?"
"Yeah, I feel like he's changed somehow. Especially after his fight with Jeanne."
"It seemed like he isn't caring about anything anymore."
"Is he acting confident because of that?"
I was right, I was so focused in strengthening myself and hiding it at the same time that I forgot how to act. Well, I figured it'll be dificult to keep a gloomy facade after my spar with Jeanne. I was urging to give up my gloomy act but somehow I'm being held back, I wonder why?
*Clang*
The bell chimed.
"It's lunchbreak, I'll be leaving now, be sure to study what I taught you. I'm leaving." The teacher teacher announced before walking out of the door.
"Yes!" The students replied.
Ah, it's lunch break. I snapped out of my daze. I walked out of the classroom and bought my lunch.
-School rooftop-
I opened the door and scanned around if there was anyone. "Safe." I procedeed to sat on the ground and enjoy the bliss of peaceful vibe.
"Ahhh~ It was so much better here, hopefully those girls won't disturb me here. Well, I doubt they will bother anyway."
I sat on the ground and began eating my lunch. I savored every bit of it and can't help but compare it to my past life. The food isn't as delicous as those in my past life, but it still has decent texture and taste.
"Still better than eating in the middle of warzone." I shed tears of joy.
*Creak*
"Hm? Who's that?" I turned around.
"Ah, Kurtz!" (Alisse)
"Hi~" (Freia)
"New guy? What are you doing here, insect?" Seraphina pointed at me.
"Insect?" I replied while trying to hold back my anger.
"Hey, Seraphina, cut it out already." (Alisse)
"Seraphina, be nice to your teammates." (Yuuki)
"What else can I call you?" She glared at me.
"Let's just leave it at that, miss." I faked a nervous act.
"Good then, now leave." Seraphina pointed at the door.
"Yes ma'am." I turned around and muttered to myself; "So irritating, does she have prejudice against boys? What a pain." And closed the door.
Seraphina's POV:
Chet, you think you can hide your true intentions with that facade? What a scumbag.
"Seraphina, that was rude. You should open up a bit more, you know?" (Alisse)
"He's the only one that lasted this long after seeing your personality. Even when acting like that he haven't lashed out you know?" (Freia)
"He's just putting up an act, he's maybe here to ogle at our bodies." I retorted.
"Didn't we say that we'll ovserve him and kick him out if he ever does anything funny." (Yuuki)
"""Yeah""" They all agreed at the same time.
"But still, he may be just being careful! We sho–"
"Did he ever do anything to you when you're asleep?" (Yuuki)
"T-that's..." I gritted my teeth, can't think of a reply.
"He didn't, right?" (Yuuki)
"Y-yeah..." I averted my gaze, trying to deny what she said.
"Then will let him stay." Alisse patted my shoulder with a reassuring smile.
"If he ever do anything to you, we will beat him up!" (Freia)
"Yeah, We'll protect you." Yuuki smiled at me.
"Mm!" Alisse nodded.
"F-fine, if I catch him doing anything funny I'll beat him up myself."

I sighed and smiled in relief.
Kurtz' POV:
After cooling down my anger, I went to the training room to train for the rest of the day.
I don't have much time, three years is short, I should condense my mana while training at the same time. This will help with my concentration and my multi tasking ability.
-At the training room-
The place was empty, surprisingly. "Great, I don't have to deal with people." Right after saying that, my own words hurt me. "I remember I don't even have a single one, dammit." Even if it's great not having to deal with people, being reminded that I don't have friends still hurts to some degree.
I suddenly remembered about my comrades that I had from my past life, the reason I kept on living before realizing I was the only human alive. I was about to shed tears but I gulped it down and continued my training, even if it's tightening my chest
-five hours later-
"Whew, I'm beat, condensing mana while exercising is harder than I thought." I wiped down my sweat with my shirt. "I'm done for the day, haah, so tired."
I went and changed my clothes then went back to the dormitory room. I was bracing myself from all the nag I will recieve once I got back.
I've been wanting to lash out at her now, only if she weren't a noble of high authority over the kingdom, I would've mopped the floor with her face. "Tsk." I clicked my tongue.
-At the dorm room-
*Creak*
"Ah, she isn't here yet, I should enjoy my alone time." I laid down on the bed to take a nap.
-Three hours later-
Seraphina's POV:
I've done all my training with my team for the day, I'll head back to my room. "I'll be going now." I waved back as I left.
"Mm, I'll be heading back too." (Yuuki)
"Then, I'll be going as well. Good work everyone." (Alisse)
"I'll be heading back as well~" (Freia)
"Ah, before heading back, I'll announce something to everyone first." (Yuuki)
"What is it?" I asked.
"We'll be training with Kurtz tommorow, he's been training alone since the beginning so I'm worried for his progress." (Yuuki)
"That guy? Haah, fine, as long as he doesn't hinder our training." It's not like he'll be any of help in the competition anyway.
"Sure. The rest of us will help with his training of you don't want to." (Freia)
"Fine, I'll be going, you talk it out on what we'll do with him." I turned around and left.
Because of him our training will be slowed down. "Tsk." I clicked my tongue.
-At the dormitory room-
*Creak*
I opened the door a d peeked if there was anybody around.
"Snore"
I heard a snore and it was Kurtz, sleeping soundly. "What a lazy guy, and their saying they want to help him train? Tch." I ignored him and went to take a shower.
*Creak*
"Yaw~ ah, miss?" As I opened the door, I saw Kurtz.
"Ah you're awake, go outside, don't look." I pointed at the door.
"Ah yes, I'll do right awa– ?!"
"?! Kyah!"
Kurtz' weight pressed onto my body and my breasts feel like it's being violated.
"?! You... you... Perevert!" I slapped him in the face with full force.
"Ugh!"
I was right, he was a pervert after all!
