A rocket suddenly blasted out of the roof of the Noblis home. The rocket flew. It arched toward the edge of the city. The king watched from a block away as his men scrambled from the scene. He followed the rocket with his eyes.
"Go," He ordered. One of the masked figures at his side sped off at the command. He followed the rocket's trajectory. They all watched on as the rocket sputtered and crashed right outside the city.

…
Five robots arrived at the rocket before anyone else. They barely finished getting the door of the rocket opened before the masked guard arrived. The masked guard shoved the robots away as he entered the rocket.
The king arrived as the masked guard came out of the rocket. He was carrying a person with purple hair out of the rocket. There was no movement from the person.
The robots Unit was saddened. They really didn't want this person to be the purple princess.
"This was all I found," said the guard, dropping the person on the ground.
The king bent down moving the purple hair away from the person's face.
"There was nothing else?" The king asked. "No books?"
The guard retrieved the book from inside the rocket. He handed it to the king. Tarragon turned the book over in his hands. He saw the words that formed a semi circle. [The False King]
All this effort for a children's story and a mannequin!?
He looked at the children's story book. Because it was written for a young child, it was a very quick read. Tarragon suddenly became enraged. This was a declaration of War!

Right after Amistad had breathed his last breath Heath appeared. He had heard the explosion from the tunnel. He ran toward the noise, he needed to protect his family!
Heath heard Amistad tell Violetta, "I love you." And then Amistad's body stilled. This was wrong. This was all wrong.
"I primed the engine!" Heath turned to see Araminty climbing out of the rocket. Violetta's present to him.
Heath Grabbed Violetta who had a vice like grip on the book her father gave her. "V, we gotta go now." Heath held her face in his hands. "Look at me V." She looked into his eyes. "We gotta go."
Violetta looked at the rocket she quickly climbed inside and said, "Get ready for a distraction."
She pushed a series of keys quickly, dropped her C-Ring on the floor of the rocket, and exited the rocket. Araminty had placed a mannequin in the rocket long ago She sometimes slept inside of it. She liked to pretend her and Violetta went out on the rocket to go get Heath. She also enjoyed reading Violetta's favorite childhood book. All of those things had already been in the rocket before the last wire had been connected. Violetta closed up those memories in the rocket and latched it shut.
"Let's go now!" She shouted as the rocket began to roar to life.
They escaped down the tunnel. Heath still needed to follow the correct pipe. He led Araminty and Violetta down the maze like corridors. Then the pipe stopped abruptly, going into a wall.
"Follow me," Heath said. He put his palm on the wall. And suddenly the wall opened up.
There was a secret lair behind the wall. Violetta looked around seeing all of the technology that went into the place. The door closed as soon as they were all through it. Of course her father would build something like this. Her chest felt heavy and she sucked in a breath to help stop her from crying.
Heath dragged her to a stool and made her sit down. His quick actions stopped her from crying.
"We have to disguise you," Heath said. quickly getting some things ready. "Your dad said we can't dye your hair. So we'll use a wig. I'll use one too. He placed a wig with black hair on her head. His pink hair was way too obvious in the fluorescent light.
"Your hair," Violetta commented as she got a strand in her hand to fix it.
"I dyed it back," He smiled. There was no reason to hide it if he was just going to live down here anyway. He then put on a different black wig. Now he and Violetta shared the same hair color. He wondered if that would be enough.
He slightly cleaned her face and began to apply some makeup so he could change her features a bit.
"What are you doing?" She asked him, holding his hand back.
"Disguising you," Heath said. "Let me finish."
She silently wondered if he knew what he was doing. Heath stepped back admiring his handy work. Violetta definitely didn't look like herself at all now.
Violetta raced to the mirror and when she saw herself she exclaimed, "I look terrible!"
"What do you mean you look terrible?" Heath defended. "This is a disguise. You don't look like you at all now."
"Because you don't know how to put makeup on a girl!" Violetta grabbed the cloth he used earlier to clean her up a bit, and took the monstrosity off her face.
She did her makeup differently highlighting areas of her face that she normally wouldn't, and she darkened her skin tone as well making her look just a little different. Her make up coupled with the black hair made her look like a different person entirely.
"How is this any different from what I did?" Heath asked.
"Because what you did was a splotchy mess," Violetta said angrily.

Once the familiar door was closed, Araminty went to her corner. This was where she played while Amistad would gather things together. She knew where everything was. There were a lot of little things she had helped him bring down here. She knew the plan.
She needed to pull herself together. Amistad wouldn't want her to be this way. He would want her to support Violetta. She cursed this body that wouldn't let her cry. Even though Violetta and Heath had told her she was their daughter, Amistad was the one who really raised her.
How could he be gone? Araminty sat in the corner looking around. She caught a glimpse of something on the wall next to the bed. This was where Heath had been sleeping the past few nights.
She went to the wall, and saw a necklace. It was Amistad's. She took it off the wall and put it on. She pressed the button on the back allowing a projection of two family photos to appear side by side.
She only recognized one of them. It was herself, Heath, Violetta, and Laura. It was taken the year after Heath's mom disappeared. Violetta and Heath demanded that Araminty be allowed to join the family photo, because she was family.
The other side had a boy with purple hair. And his parents. They were dressed very regally and each had crowns upon their heads. This must be Amistad when he was a boy with his parents.
Araminty didn't have much family left now. She needed to pull herself together. She needed to protect her family. She clutched at the necklace around her neck. She would definitely protect this family.

"Stand over here," Heath led her by the elbow and took her picture.
Once her picture was taken he ran over to a really old looking computer. She walked up behind him as he was typing.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Making you a new identity," Heath explained. "We have to get out of Amrica city."
