"So these are your new monsters, Darling?" Kage asked as she lowered her spear from where she had been prepared to strike, having been surprised by the sudden appearance of the giant wolves.
"Yep! I thought it was best to start with wolves to make the hunting easier on you and Erza." Hiro nodded with pride in his voice.
"Aww. What a considerate man you are, Darling." Kage purred as she sashayed her way over past the bowing wolves. "And good boys get rewarded." She whispers in his ear as she leans into him. Her eyes looking even more predatory than the carnivores behind her.
*Ppppsssss* The sudden blood loss from his nose bleed causes Hiro to pass out for a moment. When he returns to his senses, he is being hauled back into their cave by Kage as the shadow dire wolves disappear into the shadows around the grove. Some to stay and defend the site while their master and mistress mate and others to go assist their second mistress in her hunt. Two hours of rough and tumble with Kage and later Erza when she returned, Hiro and his jelly-legged waifus exited the grotto cave looking both refreshed and tired.
*Mmmmm* Hiro moaned, giving a big stretch as the sunlight hit him.
"So what do you have planned for the rest of the day, Husband?" Erza asked from where she had plopped down at the edge of the pool to dangle her feet in the water. She didn't look like she planned to move any time soon. Neither did Kage with how she was sprawled out on the lawn next to her. Hiro didn't feel like doing much more either after their workout on the mattress and took a seat next to Erza so he could also put his feet in the cool waters while enjoying the warm late afternoon sun and pet Kage's silky hair.
"I thought I would go over Monster Maker more thoroughly now that I know how it works." Hiro answered and then began to explain to them how it worked. Kage scooted over to lay her head in his lap for easier petting, and Erza leaned over to rest her head on his shoulder so that they could more comfortably listen to the man they had dedicated their existence to. It was a very tranquil scene, the three of them snuggling together beside the crystal clear waters underneath the sunny spring sky. The only sign that they were in a dangerous forest were the three giant black wolves that were patrolling the edges of the glade while six more were hidden in the shadows to protect their new masters, and the last three would show up now and then with the new game they had hunted.
"So what's next, Husband?" Erza asked once Hiro finished his explanation. Kagetora had already drifted off on his lap under his steady caresses, looking for all the world like a very content cat.
"Kage talked about getting birds and hounds to help with the hunting. I think the shadow dire wolves I created should have that covered for now." Erza nodded in approval at his words as she looked over at the pile of monster carcasses the pack had collected while they were talking. They would need to get up soon to drain, butcher, and prep them for storage, but she could stay here and cuddle with her beloved and her sister for a little longer, couldn't she?
"Next, I want to start filling the positions." Hiro continued thinking like a gamer. "The wolves can fill the fast melee attacker and scout roles, but we still need tanks, fast and heavy ranged attackers, supporters, healers, heavy melee attackers, and mages. We should probably have a couple of different types of mages to cover all the elements. Then, of course, there are the generals. While bulk monsters can make up the majority of our army, I want custom monsters to lead them. But I'll need to hold off on making them for now since I want to make them as powerful as possible, which means having a full 21WP to spend on them. If just 14WP can summon an Elder Dragon, how strong will a monster made with the full 21WP be, I wonder?" An evil grin curled the edges of Hiro's lips at the thought.
"I suppose you will also be humanizing these "general" monsters to also join your harem," Erza asked a question that wasn't a question with dissatisfaction in her voice. Hiro lightly blushed as he turned his head to the side. His refusal to answer the question an answer in and of itself.
*Haaaa* Erza sighed as she climbed to her feet, the discomfort in her heart from knowing she would have to share her beloved with someone besides her sister, ruining the wonderful moment they had been having for her. "It's not like we didn't see this coming," Erza said as she walked away to start work on prepping their new supply of meat for storage. "Whatever you decide, we will always support you, Husband." She tried to reassure herself as much as him. However, the fact she said so without turning around while walking away revealed her heartache.
Hiro didn't know what to do and just sat there with Kage's head on his lap, feeling like he had just committed an unforgivable crime as he watched her walk away.
"Too bad we can't get a monster to take care of this for us," Erza mumbled to herself as she reached the pile of dead monsters that was twice as tall as she was. Despite the fact she had been taking care of all the things that could be considered housework since they had arrived, she was still a knight at heart. Just because she was willing to didn't mean she liked it or that, despite her best efforts, she was very good at it. She wished she had a squire or team of maids to at least help lighten her load.
*PA* *AAAAHHHHH* Erza heard a slap and her husband scream behind her and whipped around, katana drawn, looking for the enemy. Instead, all she found was Kage with her spear drawn in a battle stance, looking around like a startled cat, and her husband with his mouth wide open in the aftereffect of his scream and one hand on his forehead in a facepalm and the other pointed straight out in front of him. Erza and Kage followed where he was pointing as the shadow dire wolves circled up around them but couldn't spot anything that could have caused such a reaction in him.
"Husband?" Erza asked as she carefully moved closer.
"I'm such an IDIOT!" Hiro screamed as he held his head and started writhing in shame. His outburst caused the high-tension warriors and monsters around him to pause for a second before they all shot him a disgruntled look of 'what the hell did you have to scare us for!' before the wolves began to disperse and return to the slowly lengthening shadows of the trees surrounding the glade.
"Darling!? Explain!" Kage said as she shouldered her spear with a pout.
"I can create monsters with the knowledge and skills we need! We don't need to learn or do it ourselves! There was no f*cking reason for me to spend all that time researching wilderness survival on Earth! How the hell could I have been so blind!" Hiro continued to berate himself as he explained what he had realized. Apparently, he had heard Erza's muttering about wanting help, and a quick check of the skill matrix had revealed it was very possible. Easy even. The skill matrix seemed to place higher values on combat-related skills. Simple housework skills like cooking and cleaning or crafting skills for making clothes, bedding, and furniture but didn't provide enough experience to create armor or weapons were ridiculously cheap. He could probably create a master maid with only two or three wild points.
""Really!"" Erza and Kage asked excitedly, interrupting his self-depreciation. They could finally stop trying to act as part-time logistics and support staff and could finally get back to being full-time warriors and lovers.
"Uh, yeah," Hiro confirmed, finally getting out of his own head enough to realize his waifus were standing over him with stars in their eyes.
"When!? When will you be able to create these monsters, Husband!?" Erza asked eagerly, with Kage bobble heading along next to her. *HMm! HMm! HMm!*
"Um… Let me check." Hiro said, a little taken aback by their enthusiasm. He hadn't realized just how uncomfortable Erza and Kagetora had been trying to play the part of the good housewife.
{Bastard! You were thinking something along the lines of that being the proper place for a woman, weren't you!}
Hiro flinched slightly at Susie's telepathic accusation but refused to confirm or deny her assumption as he focused on trying to find the most efficient combination to create the perfect maid.
{Hmph, fine. Ignore me. We'll just see how I deal with this chauvinist pig. *Ka ka ka ka*} Susie's fading evil cackle sent a shiver down Hiro's spine and caused him to break out in a cold sweat as his imagination ran wild with what she might have planned for him.
With a shake of his head, Hiro pulled himself out of the quagmire that was trying to predict what an Archdemon that saw your life as her personal entertainment might do to you and focused back on the more immediate problem; creating the ideal monster maid.
"Ok, we will need to wait till tomorrow to get the best results, but I think we got it." Hiro finally spoke up as the sun was beginning to disappear beneath the tree line casting the grotto glade into cool shadow.
""Oh?"" Erza and Kage asked from where they were finishing prepping the monsters for storage and making dinner.
Hiro nodded. "Slimes are basically free. Even if I make one with Ensured Loyalty and humanized, it will only cost me 1WP. Then, by spending two more WP, I can make her an expert at sewing, cleaning, washing, animal husbandry, butchering, tanning, cooking, basic first aid, and intermediate woodworking and metal. She won't be able to make any decent weapons or armor for us, but it should be more than enough to fill all non-combat roles."
"Most importantly, with the basic slime racial skills Fission and Fusion, she will be able to easily perform multiple tasks simultaneously. That will be her starting skills. Then later, I can give her the advanced slime racial skills Internal Storage, Adaptability, Consume, and Advanced Body Control for half a point each so that she can carry around all our stuff without issue, gradually evolve into a powerhouse despite starting out with no combat abilities by eating monsters we kill and don't need, and will be able to pass herself off more efficiently as a human once we start visiting civilized areas." Hiro finished by explaining how he planned to upgrade her later.
"What do you think?" Hiro asked his waifus.
"Sounds good to me, Husband." Erza said with Kage nodding next to her.
"Let's hurry up and get to sleep then." Kage said as she grabbed Erza and Hiro by the arm and pulled them into the grotto cave. "I can't wait for tomorrow!"
---Just before dawn the next day---
"Wake up!" Kage screamed in Hiro's ear, startling him awake. "The new day is dawning. Hurry up and create her, Darling." Kage said as she hauled him to his feet, eager to meet their new companion that would take so many of the annoying burdens off her and Erza's shoulders and make life so much easier and more comfortable for all of them. Erza was standing to the side, just as excited, but doing a much better job at hiding it.
"Alright, alright. *aaaahhhhhmmmmm*" Hiro said groggily with a yawn as he pulled up the Monster Maker screen. He had saved the draft for their slime maid the evening before, so all he had to do was press Create and then Summon. With a flash of light, a fourth person took form within the grotto cave. When he had been creating her appearance, he had had a hard time deciding between using the appearance of Grayfia from DxD or Belfast from Azur Lane as her templet. In the end, he had decided on Belfast, and he had done a pretty good job mimicking her appearance if he did say so himself.
Her form was a little more watery, both in color and structure, but besides that, he had got her down pat. She was 158cm tall with flawless white skin. Her waist-length snow-white hair that flowed freely down her back except for the part tied in a french braid around her head like a tiara. Her dark blue eyes that were warm but held the depth of the sea within. Those long legs wrapped tightly in sheer white stockings hidden under her calf-length skirt. Her frilly white and navy blue maid uniform and elbow gloves that hugged her figure nicely and left her 38F cleavage on full display. Unfortunately, she lacked the original's signature adornment of her collar and broken chain, but with her skills, Hiro knew he would soon have his collar around that sensual, dainty neck.
