I awoke back in my humble cave with a pleasant smile on my face. After killing 37 imps, I had gained valuable resources and a fair share of XP. I wonder how close I am to levelling up.

Wow, I need a lot more XP to level up. My stats look pretty nice but I need to increase them.
I pulled the cores of the imps I killed and crushed most of them, leaving only one. The explosion that came from them barely even affected me now.
I put all of the skill levels into [Blood Forge] and [Blood Manipulation]. After crushing 36 I had got [Blood Forge] to Lv3 and [Blood Manipulation] to Lv2.
The new effects of [Blood Forge] were extremely good. Like I mean amazing. Spectacular. Game breaking. And the words I use the most, over powered
[Blood Forge]
Using the blood of another or your own, you can create weapons, armour and minions. Quality depends on the quality of materials and skill level. Level Skill up to gain more features.
It's amazing. I can finally have myself a nice little army to use whenever I don't want to fight by myself. Maybe I'll even gain a friend.
Anywayyyy. I had one more core left and I decided to do something different. After crushing the first core I had found by accident, I assumed that that was how they were absorbed. But I never had the liberty to swallow one, I specifically chose the core of the Shark Imp thing, so that it would effect me the most if something changed. Well here we go.
"Gulp"
I forced the large core down my throat with great eagerness, as soon as it reached my stomach it started fizzing. All of a sudden it became painful.
"Boom"
My body exploded. My guts and skin clung to the walls from the force, every part of me was on the walls and ceiling.

Well I'm not doing that again. Or maybe I should, to strengthen my organs so I won't be skewered again.
I then proceeded to take all of the bodies out and drain them of blood. Using the new part of [Blood Forge] I made a full set of army. It looked amazing, like my sword it was constantly moving like the liquid it was.
After testing some theories, I discovered that I could, like the sword, make it change its shape. I have always liked the anime my dad hooked me on, demon slayer, so I made a long robe with a blank red mask. I looked just like the demon slayers in the series, I can even shape my sword into a katana.
Using the remaining blood, I chose to utilise the last effect of [Blood Forge] and create a minion.
Instantly the blood moved and created the creatures that it had come from,

Hmm, maybe the intelligence is lowered because it is a minion? Or maybe because it wasn't smart to begin with. Oh well, I mean, I'm just going to be giving it orders anyway so it won't have to think for itself unless it was in a fight. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
I created a few more, but when it came to the Shark Imp thingy, the blood was more pure and darker. It looked kinda creepy if I'm being honest. The dark blood seemed to blend into the shadows around it creating a sense of eeriness that was absorbed by the very rocks in my little cave.
Proceeding to use [Blood Forge] I quickly formed the dark blood into the Shark Imp that it had come from and was very happy with the results.

Wait WHAT! Teeeheeeheee. My minions can get skills if they are high enough level, this is brilliant. I can basically have an ever-growing army, and with the cores that the imps drop, they will be the most powerful beings ever. Mwahahahaha I shall rule this land!
Cough cough! Don't mind me just letting my evil side run rampant, won't happen again, sorry. Well I guess I should have a look at the skills that this imp has,

Well thats a first, I didn't know until now that skills had cool downs. Guess I'm just so amazing that the system doesn't give me cool downs. But anyway, the [Shadow Shift] skill is extremely useful, I'm pretty sure thats how the Imp was almost able to land a sneak attack on me. If that extremely arrogant and evil Imp (Ironic I know) didn't tell me to look around, I would have lost almost all of my HP and not have obtained this fantastic minion.
With an ingenious idea, I crafted another sword out of the blood of a Lv2 Ash Imp and handed it to the Shadow Shark Imp. It's hand grasped the handle like someone starving being handed food. Surprisingly, once it had it in its hand, its stats began to rise and an effect on shown on its status.
