This new ability is absolutely amazing, imagine the possibilities. I could create an entire army full of blood minions and rule the land. If I work hard enough now, I could create an entire empire before other players even join the game. But I'm too lazy to do that.
Despite being extremely lazy, I still wanted to get stronger, after converting the rest of the blood into minions and confirming that they were a part of my army, I had 37 soldiers to utilise and dominate the land.
Overall, I know that it isn't actually very big compared to the hundreds of imps hiding in the thousands of lava pits that litter this evil place. I might go back to the lava pit and 'recruit' some more soldiers for my army, but for now I need to make this small cave comfortable and easy to live in.
"All Right get to work!" I yelled in a very deep voice at my new army.
Completely unfazed by my orders, the soldiers remained still. Damn, I guess they aren't smart enough to understand me without me actually saying what needs to be done.
Before I could say
"Build me a house"
the army quickly got to work. Starting with the foundation, they carved out a stone slab from the walls with their sharp claws. They seem to know what to do, I'm gonna head out.
Stepping out of my cave, I took a deep breath and started coughing. The ash in the air rushed into my lungs and stung worse than literally exploding, I should know.
Starting to lightly jog, I looked around to find something to kill. It took me a while to find something, there was a small white speckled salamander crawling towards its tiny lava pit that was basically a puddle and I decided to kill it.
With extreme speed I rushed over to it and slammed my fist into the lava puddle, I lifted my hand out and blood was smeared all over it.
+1 XP
It was the first time in ages I had only received 1 point of XP, 'twas kinda refreshing if I'm being honest. Brings back terrible memories of my first kill, all the blood the anguish, the pain.
But on a more cheerful note, I had spotted a Metal Winged Eagle hovering above me. I would gain a bit more XP today.
Jumping up with my powerful legs, I punched the Eagle with all my might, instantly sending it hurtling towards the ground. At the last second it spread open its wings and flew back up to me. Due to not having any wings, I started to fall towards the Eagle, I pulled out my sword and angled it towards the beasts head. As it struck, the force of the impact turned my sword back into a liquid and the metal wings cut into my red skin. The impact pushed me towards the ground at near neck breaking speeds.
"What the Hell! I thought my sword would stay in its strong form" I need to find a real sword. While I need a better sword, blood swords would still be fine for my minions. Well anyway back to being attacked.
"Boom!" My back struck the ground.
"Holy Moly that hurt"
Groaning, I slowly lifted my self off of the ground, as I did I spat a small bit of blood to the ground and turned to once again face the Eagle that was approaching me. The beasts vision honed onto me and I got ready for a frontal collision.
It dove towards me with tremendous speed, and I jumped to reach it. Just as we were about to collide, I swivelled my body around the great bird and activate [Blood Manipulation].
The small pool of blood that I had just spat out rushed towards the Eagle and moved so fast the speed shaped it into a needle.
With little mental control, I directed the needle of blood to barrel towards the exposed neck of the over grown chicken and they collided.
The sheer speed of the needle forced it through the Eagles only slightly armoured neck and into its throat.
"Woohoo!"
+60 XP
My first proper kill in a while, this one gave me more XP Than the first, must be because of this bird having a higher level.
I quickly used [Blood Forge] and created a powerful minion to accompany me.
Lv5 Metal Winged Eagle [Class not given yet]
What on earth?!
I can give my minions classes?! Why is this minion special? Oh right, this is my only one the is Lv 5. That must be the starting point for classes.
Huh. Why haven't I got a class? My minions can get one but why haven't I?
Those are questions for later, for now, I should choose my new eagles class.
[What Class will this minion be?]
Options:
Knight
Mage
Rogue
Healer
That's pretty basic. Surely this game would be developed enough to have more classes, oh well.
Obviously I picked Rogue. I mean, it's not gonna be a fighter, it can fly, I don't think it can cast spells or heal. Rogue was the natural choice, imagine it.
I'm fighting for my life with all my other minions against a massive tiger (the mother of the tiger cub I saw earlier, I will get my revenge) and as I'm about to be hit, the Eagle swoops in and uses some Rogue skill of gorge out the Tiger's eyes permanent blinding it. Then my chance to attack would reveal itself and I would win.
It truly was a perfect fit for the overgrown chicken that joined my ranks.
Well, I still need XP, time to find some more. After thinking to myself for a while, I set off on my journey to find kills. I walked for about two hours before I came across a medium sized lava pit, it was a little smaller than my original one, and decided to get utilised this XP farm. The imps on there have to be weaker seeing as the pit is smaller in size.
With the elegance of an Olympic swimmer, I dived into the pool and swam through the warm liquid. As soon as I did, the same prompt alerted me that I would be attacked. As if on cue, I was instantly surrounded by a horde of imps.
Killing spree here I come, tehehehe.
Oh come on, don't judge me. I'm only 15 after all.
Without a sword in my hand, I decided on utilising my sharp demonic claws to slaughter the surrounding imps. An unknown fervour overcame me, I rushed towards the surroundings imps and started my attack. With the first I sliced its throat and stored it away, with the next I ripped its spins out of its body with one fluid motion.
Each second that passed an imp died, after about a minute the horde was reduced to only 140 more imps. The sixty that I killed barely caused me to break a sweat, I feel kinda bad for this it's just too unfair.
After 3 minutes I had finished off the rest, only leaving one, it was much like the other imp that had killed me twice now. It's head and body was small and frail but it had large horns and exuded an aura of power.
With extreme caution I made my way towards the imp slowly. When I got about 10 metres from the imp, the imps body seemed to smoke and produce steam. It was actually kinda funny. Because we were in lava, the steam rose up in bubbles and made me chuckle.
I wasn't laughing for long as the imp rushed me, it's body now twice the same as mine. That was quite an achievement actually, seeing as my demon body was twice the size of an imp, if my math is correct then it would be quadruple the size of an average imp. Scary.
"Snap"
I heard my bones crack when the imp punched me with all of its strength, damn that hurt. Whilst I was being pushed back by the imps fist, I took a small needle of blood out of my inventory and jammed it into the imps face, just before I was sent hurtling away from the imp. My needle had gone through the imp's cheek and ripped through it when I was thrown away.
I heard a hearty laugh from where the imp was standing.
"Congratulations! You actually managed to land an attack on me, no one who has done that has lived. I will have fun playing with you"
Well that's fantastic, no one survived after hitting him. Seems like I'm gonna die again, I know it seems like I downplay the pain of dying but it hurts a lot. Like I'd rather have a permanent death and end the suffering then type of pain, so I'm gonna try not to die.
With pain still wracking my body I rushed towards the the other imp and raised my claws into position. Time to win this fight. As soon as I reached the imp, it threw a punch aimed for my head.
"WEAVE!"
I dodged the punched and instantly threw a sharp jab to the imps abdomen. The impact caused a ripple Using my speed, I spun behind the imp and dug my claws into the imps eyes. I put my hands around the imp's head and my feet around it's torso, with my abnormal strength I twisted in opposite directions, like a Chinese burn but on an entire body.
"Snap!"
The behemoth of an imps head was twisted completely around and was now facing the wrong way, it was terrifying. The imp was still alive and it tried to attack me, a few moments later it's body went limp and I stored it into my [Inventory]
