"so.. how's it going" ash extended his words.
"it's going just fine thank you, were hanging out today actually" i said, i ate my orange that has been sitting on my lunch tray for the last hour. the morning went fast and next class was math so i had mixed feelings. i get to see michael but its math..
the bell went and we walked to class. i saw michael already in his seat next to where i usually sat which was a little weird but i didn't mention it. he looked up and smiled, "hey" he mouthed since i was still across the room. i mouthed hi back and then sat down. me and ash talked until mr. finch walked into class again late like usual.
michael tapped me on the shoulder, "what time are you coming today? after school?"
"sure, also don't forget we gotta watch mr. finch's kids tomorrow" i smiled which got one back.
he handed me a pencil, "do you need one again?" he laughed but was cut off.
"michael and grey!? i'm trying to teach a class will you please shut up?"mr. finch said, the class chuckled in response and michael's face turned beat red. mr. finch was the kind of teacher that was new out of college yet had tons of experience and related to us all at the same time. he was my favorite teacher.
i looked to the front of the class and took notes of course. the day flew by and before i knew it, i was getting onto the bus with michael. we sat in the very back and in the same seat this time.
"my friends are quite.. loud when you first meet them so don't be scared but i think if you stick closer to me you wont have an issue," mike said as he plugged in his earbuds. "here" he said handing one to me. i put it in my ear and a new song played. "its called sermon by james arthur, i really like some of his music too"
....
"hey!! bro i haven't seen you in weeks! how's everything and i seen you've brought your girlfriend, hi im mason nice to meet you" mason said and low and behold, michael was right. he was extremely loud.
michael hugged mason, "haha everything's good and no were just friends.. are we friends? what are we, really, you stalk me, i bring you to my house and now you meet my friends.."
"i think friend works" i said smiling. there was another guy waiting for a chance to speak but he was being a little quiet.
....
michael and the 2 guys caught up while i bought popcorn at the movie theatre. it was quite fun on the way here too because we took mason's car and he blasted some of the songs i really liked, i knew the words so i screamed them out with michael and my god was he surprised.
"i want a picture with you guys so come" kai said, the other unnecessarily quiet guy's name was kai and... he is not quiet.. at all. i stood next to michael while mason held up the phone, after getting the picture we walked into the theatre and took our seats. me sitting next to mike and kai and mason next to him on the other side. i was a little shocked when i looked over and seen them making out but i just looked away and didn't question.
....
"So, what did you think of them?" Mike asked. He wanted to walk me home instead of drive since it was only a 20 minute walk.
"They're fun, don't tell mase but kai's my favorite. What school do they go to anyway?"
"Haha i wont and they go to west side"
We kept walking until we reached my house, i thanked him for taking me out and went inside.
