Lax was a bit perplexed at what's happening, at first hearing an unfamiliar sound out of nowhere scared the shit out of him, but after knowing it was the system he was extremely excited since it was his dream to also have one of this but now that the system is within his grasp he was very emotional.
But a very big problem had happened a notification of 'system unsuccessfully integrated' pops up. Doesn't that mean that he didn't receive his system the 3rd time?.
Lax was very dispirited and disappointed, that the hope and excitement he got earlier was gone in an instant, like a cloud of smoke it came quickly and disappear after.
"Well, fuck my life, I have more job to do I may as well do it," Lax said as he hid and put aside the emotion he has.
'There's no point in thinking about it now, I should start making money,' Lax thought as he stood up from his bed, he first took a bath after that he wears a cotton cloth and put on a plain deer leather armor chest then pick up a leather pouch containing his money and some bread he brought yesterday.
He brought every valuable in him and hid some in the house since robbery is very common in the town, Lax then walk out the door and stood there for a second. 'Looks like I'm really gonna rot in this place huh...' Lax though while mocking himself, he then walks to his first destination. The Blacksmith Workshop.
While walking down the streets some people greet Lax as he greets them back, while giving the bread he had to some kids who keep bothering him leaving him no choice to sacrifice his food to some brats.
Lax was also thinking to start becoming an adventurer or a mercenary since they pay well after completing some task, but generally, they only accept people of legal age so that they won't take any responsibility for you if you ever die of your stupidity. He heard some story that before planet Gaia a planet called 'Earth' exist and it has technology beyond their understanding, they have a thing where you can watch a person inside a black-box called Television or TV, you can also use the thing called Cellphone where you can talk to another person even if he was in the other side of the world.
People in his age doesn't have any of those, not because people don't want to recreate it, but they just can't do it, first if they want to put a television or cellphone on this planet they first need to build the satellite and how do they put that thing in the space? Of course the rocket but the bigger problem is the planet atmosphere is very different compare to earth, the gravity and everything else is different.
The elements of this planet are also different from earth it's a complete mystery so the people delayed the research about creating technology on the planet and years after they just completely stop trying and focus on knowing more information about their own planet because, in reality, they really underestimate the size of this planet.
For hundreds of years that they live on this planet only about 45% of the land is explored, don't even mention the ocean they didn't even dare to go under it so their progress in the sea is only about less than 1%, the planet consists 60% land and 40% water, but don't underestimate the ocean for being only 40%, because even though it's not big and wide but the ocean is more terrifying place to go compare to the lands and it's also very deep.
While walking toward the blacksmith workshop, Lax again thought about the system notification as he didn't really understand what happens, Lax himself knows that he's not that idiot, and he was quite smart actually, but the thing that happens there is not something he can grasp, so again he just put it aside as he doesn't want to stress about it and continue to walk forward to his destination.
After he arrives he saw some commotion and saw that Ariel has a look of worry on his face, Lax always called him Ariel the owner of the blacksmith workshop 'old bear' because he's like an old giant with a big beard and buff muscle but Ariel always says to Lax that he should be respectful and called him an old man but Lax thought that it was funny, so he keeps doing it whenever he wanted too.
The moment Lax saw it he quickly runs forward and asks Ariel what happened. Ariel saw Lax as he quickly answers Lax without a pause.
"Gabriel, my daughter, she was picking some herb in the forest a while ago to submit the quest to the adventurer guild, it's been 8 hours since she left it's alright if she takes 8 or 10 hours to complete the quest but the guards in the city announce that a 4th tier beast appears in the forest to hunt, and they warn us not to do any quest in this period of time," Ariel said in a panic and a face of worry can clearly be seen.
"A 4th tier beast?!?" Lax said in fear.
"Did you ask for any help from the guards? How about the mercenaries or the adventurer guild?" Lax said.
"I did, but the guards said they are too low level to fight something like that and the mercenaries didn't want any involvement, in this case, they often chase money to do a quest, but they said that their life is still the most precious for them, the adventurer guild said that they will immediately look for her after the beast moved back to its territory, they also send some people who are level 50 above for search and rescue," Ariel said, he knows the situation of the guards that's why he understood when they refuse to help, and he was grateful for the adventurer guild that they were willing to help him, but he really despite the mercenaries for only doing a job for the sake of money and when an enemy appears they suddenly don't want to involve themselves, they even ask for more money and said that they will think about it.
Ariel, of course, needs to pay the adventurer guild for sending some of its members for search and rescue but the mercenaries refused to help him they even got the guts to ask that Ariel should pay them 10 times the price he pays the adventurer guild.
Of course, the life of his daughter is on the line so money is not the concern, but he did not want to put the life of his daughter in the hand of greedy mercenaries.
Hearing that reassure Lax a bit that the adventurer guild already send some people with a level 50 above, but he thought that how did a beast come to the forest just to hunt? Why? And aside from that, it's also the 4th tier beast, even though it was usually called 'Norm Form Beast' only those level 40 above can kill it.
Suddenly a shout from afar can be heard, Lax looks at where the voice came from and saw 3 people one of them is being carried by a buff huge guy, while the others are injured.
Lax thought 'What happened to this group of 5? What trouble did they run into?' While he was on his thoughts suddenly Lax saw one of them and recognize him.
'Wait, they're from the adventurer guild' Lax thought and immediately he remembers the 4th tier beast that came from the forest.
"Augh" One of the adventurers was hurt badly as he falls down to the ground.
"Quickly tell the guild that It's not a 4th tier beast it's a 5th tier, the 'Abnormal Beast'" Said the huge guy while carrying the badly injured guy on his shoulder.
