[ AWAKENED ]
Hydro felt the weight of the waves against his fur soaked.
"This dream again?"
He could already feel his body losing movement, as he consciousness fades away slowly. Hydro gazes up at the water surface to see a shadow he couldn't recognize. He began to reach out with all the strength he had left.
"Who are you? I want to know?"
Hydro saw the shadow diving into to water and reached out their own hand.
"Hydro~" the shadow spoke with a feminine and angelic voice.
"How do you know me? Who are you to me?"
"Kaleo~"
"Who? Whose Kaleo? I don't understand,"
"Kaleo~ Come home~"
"Home? But I already left home? I don't understand what you mean?"
"Come home Kaleo~ We're waiting for you~"
"Whose 'we'?"
The shadow soon began to slowly float back to surface.
"Wait! Don't go! I still have questions! Please stay! Don't leave me!" Hydro howled and screamed, however, not one sound could be heard from his mouth.
Hydro was alone again within the empty ocean. The one thing to keep him company was the screeching sound ringing into his ears.
"HYDRO! WAKE UP ALREADY!" Cairo squawked.
Hydro's eyes sprung open as he instantly jumped up to his feet.
"What's wrong?! Is it a bear?!" Hydro panicked as he scan his surroundings.
"No--" Cairo caws until Hydro immediately went back to sleep.
"HEY! DON'T FALL ASLEEP! I FOUND SOMETHING EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!" Cairo squawked, fluffing up his chest feathers.
"Can it wait~?" Hydro groaned before he got pecked by Cairo.
"DO YOU WANT TO GET TO BULGARIA OR NOT?"
Hydro sat up started up at his red bird friend. "What are you talking about?"
"I saw a carriage near by, the driver talking to some people that he was going to Bulgaria,"
Hydro's eyes widen before he quickly packed his things while yelling. "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAID THAT FROM THE START?!"
Cairo pecked Hydro again. "I WAS! BUT YOU DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ME!"
