AURELIA
The cafeteria inside the school was huge, like really huge. It was spacious just as outside and it even had glass windows at the back so you could see outside and a door leading there too if you wanted to eat outside. I loved this part of the school, being inside and able to clearly see outside, man, nature was gorgeous!
Hand in hand, Isadora and I walked from fifth period chem class to lunch in the cafeteria. Taking me to a table to the middle end of the cafeteria where four girls were already seated. I couldn't see the two girls facing the other side, but the other two girls were pretty. Did this school have only pretty looking people or what, I thought.
The girl to the left looked kind of an e-girl, wearing dark red lipstick, she had gray colored eyes, and black hair with highlights of pink inside. The girl next to her had green eyes, she was pale in complexion, she had silver silky hair over her shoulders and freckles on her cheeks.
The two girls not facing me, one had black hair and the other had hair almost as exact as Astrid had, as I got closer and faced them, I realized that it was actually Astrid and the girl next to her had been Saph! Seeing me they both yelled out Lia at the same time then looked at each other and we laughed.
Dora said surprisingly shocked to me, "wait you already met Astrid and Saph?"
"Yeah, I met Saph in first period chem by accident when I got in the class at the wrong time, and I met Astrid in English," I explained to her.
"Well good thing, you've lessened two introductions," she laughed saying.
Pointing to the E-girl she said to me, "this is Georgina Laird, and the pale vampire next to her is Rosalinda Faustra."
"Hey, I'm Lia!
"Hey I'm Georgi or Gina if you'd like," she smiled and waved to me.
"Hi, I'm Rose," the next girl said to me, also waving to me and smiling.
After our introductions We sat down, I sat between Saph and Dora facing Gina, Rose and Astrid. All the girls were so welcoming, and we all instantly clicked. Leaving our stuff at the table, we all got up and went to get lunch, since we didn't come to the stands as soon as lunch started, we didn't have a long line to wait on or in.
Standing last behind Dora as we waited, I suddenly felt a warm, hard body at my back, swiftly turning around, I smacked my nose into the body, so hard I started to see stars, my eyes watering, I couldn't even see clearly through them. Next thing I know, A large set of warm hands held my cheeks up laughing asking me if I was okay, I started laughing too, I felt drunk instantly with the fuzzy feeling, "Yeah, I'm okay," I said to the person. Holding the hands to my face, I pulled them down and lifted my own, wiping my eyes then scrunching my nose, I pulled a little at the tip.
Feeling better, I lift up my face to say sorry and thanks to the person, but seeing who it was, instead of saying what I was thinking, something else entirely came out, "You! I scowled at none other than Cyra the devil.
"Yes, me, He cheekily said, then completely ignoring me, he reached over and pulled on Dora's hair, hard I might add, because she was suddenly falling towards me and me falling into him once again.
"Owww, Cyra, I'm going to kill you," not even looking around to see who pulled at her hair she growled out. Holding her scalp, she pressed down then turned around glaring at the beautiful boy behind me who only burst out laughing.
I secretly wondered what these two stories were, clearly this was normal for them.
Getting mad at him I said, "That was not nice to do to a girl," I said to him.
Dora sided with me saying, "Thats right Cyra, that's not a nice thing to do to a girl!" in a mocking way.
Clearly unfazed by what both of us said he said "Sure," then laughed, the rest of the boys behind him laughing.
Dora moved around from in front of me, scowling at the rest of them, "Cyra, tell your boys to shut their faces," she grounded out.
They only laughed harder, rolling her eyes, she muttered, "whatever!" Our time came to order, after doing just so, we moved back to our table, but not before Dora flipped Cyra and his boys the bird making eye contact with all five of them.
This girl was a no-nonsense type of girl and I loved her for it already. Laughing under my breath, I muttered they deserved that and some more.
Hearing me, Dora laughed with me, "I couldn't agree more."
Sitting down, we all had lunch then some chit-chatting after. Rose and Gina asked me what classes I had so they could see if we had any classes together.
Checking my schedule, I told them I had History II next after lunch then Science & Mythology in seventh period and lastly, I had Math. Turns out I had class with Gina next, then Rose in Seventh, and Dora again in Math. The day was going to finish pretty good, I could already tell.
As lunch was over, the girls and I got up and started walking out of the cafeteria, saying bye with hugs, we started out with different directions for where our classes would be, me and Gina walked to the same direction talking and laughing as we went.
History II, is where I had Mr. Clark. Quite a funny man he was, he made learning History as easy as spelling it, and to be frank I liked History II better than History I. I really liked Mrs. Mida, she was a gem, and it really had nothing to do with the subject she teacher, no, it was her personality itself.
Seventh period with Rose was fun, I think I found my most favorite teacher and class for the entire school years to come. I have Mrs. Farino, and she is by far the most fun teacher I've ever had. She tells us stories, and reads us Mythological stories about the Greek gods and I just can't wait for the upcoming days to know what we'll be doing next.
As my last period for the day came around, Rose and I hugged each other goodbye, with the promise of seeing each other again the following day. Getting into the math classroom, my eyes instantly connected with Esme's, with both surprise and excitement, I ran to him as he caught me in a hug laughing, "Miss me this much huh," laughing with him, I said yes.
Just then, someone grabbed my hands pulling me away from him, Dora scowled at him, looking at me she scolded me, "don't hug him!"
Laughing, I asked her, " why not?"
"Because he stinks," she said in a completely serious expression.
Eyes wide, I burst out laughing harder, defending him I say, "No he does not."
Rolling her eyes at me, she said with a finality in her voice, "Yes, he does."
Rolling my eyes back at her, I said, "Okay, if you say so," pulling her with me, we took a seat side by side next to each other.
Esme came behind me, seating himself down next to me, and guess, who went to the next side of Dora, seating himself down, smirking as he did so, while I fume at him for daring to come fix himself between me and my friends.
As soon as he sat down, Dora turned and as she saw him, her eyes went wide then turning to me she saw Esme next, letting out a groan she stared out straight. As my math teacher, Mrs. Atwater began teaching, we got out our books and started to take notes on formulas.
Turning my head towards the handsome devil, I saw him, smiling for no reason, putting his head down on his desk, he stared at the side of Dora's hand next to his face. He was up to something, I was sure of it, staring hard at him, so I don't miss what he's about to do.
I must have stared at him so hard; he felt my stare. Because he looked straight at me, smirking, then he opened his mouth and clamped his oddly blue teeth on the side of Dora's hand, and he did this so fast, before I stopped it all from happening. Raising my hands, before I even register what I'm about to do, my left hands connected with the right side of his face.
It was a resounding smack across the face, and clearly everyone heard me, apart from everyone else that made a dramatic, "Huh!" at the sound, I covered my face with both my hands, as if I could not believe what I had just done, the smile that was on Esme's face was immediately wiped off and what replaced it was pure horror as he muttered, "Shite!"
And that scared me, if he was horrified about what I'd just done, then so was I. Dora's eyes went wide and she looked from me to Cyra, completely forgetting that he'd just bite her, and putting her hands to her now red cheeks, she asked him, "Cy, are you okay."
My victim, in this case, being Cyra, as my hand connected with his face and he un-clamped his teeth from Dora's hands, it morphed from shock, to confusion, and then to anger.
Angry was a hot look on him- WHAT! What was I thinking, thinking that? Oh my god, I'm so mad at myself right now, and my mama would be so not proud of me at this moment.
Slowly raising his head at me, with furrowed brows and a scowl on his face, he bent forward between himself and me, which was Dora, and whispered in a deadly tone, "Oh, this little game is over, war is on."
"Wha-" he cut me off by getting out and storming out of the classroom, leaving me still shocked, and everyone staring at me as if I was crazy.
And at this point, yes, I'd like to think I was crazy, because seriously, what the hell was I thinking, doing that to the guy? He wasn't just a beautiful human who I had many perpetual meetings with, no, as of five seconds ago, we were enemies, we were behind lines where each other was now concerned, we weren't just interacting within each other's lines as strangers or acquaintance, no, we were enemies now and this was war. I didn't know how to feel about that, or what I'd just done, but I know as I'm thinking all of this, I'm still shocked, I still feel my eyes wide and my face feels stiff.
