5 Years Later
Hendrick opened his eyes and realized that he was alone in bed. He got inside his bathroom and started showering before putting on his suit to go for a meeting with a client in the center of Chicago. He went downstairs and heard laughter and chattering from the kitchen as he headed for breakfast. He entered the kitchen and smiled to himself as he watched Serena flipping the pancake in the pan, smirking as she listened to Ethan's fuming at the twins; Alfie and Grace.
"You weren't supposed to do that, Alfie," Ethan frowned at his brother, "It's not nice to throw your football to the birds outside,".
"They were trying to bully KitKat, Ethan," Grace piped in, "He's still a kitten,".
"Well you can just clap your hands at it," Ethan retorted back, his hands were building his Lego set on the kitchen counter.
Hendrick decided to make an entrance in the kitchen, making the three kids turn their heads and beamed at him.
