The people in Verdino mansion woke up early the next morning. Both Hendrick and Scott can't wait to see the reaction of everyone once they finally meet the Ice Queen. All of them put on a nice formal outfit and Lucia started to freak out when she saw that there was dust on the mantelpiece and Thomas quickly took out his handkerchief and wiped it clean, calming her down at the same time. They had a quiet breakfast and Hendrick tried to hear any sounds of cars approaching until finally at eleven, one of the Verdino's men came inside the dining room, announcing the arrival of Cortez.
They all stood up and went to the entrance hall where one of the Verdino's men were ushering the Cortez and their men inside. Both Hendrick and Scott step in front greeting Enrique, Cecilia, Juanes, and both of the two boys, Adam and Ricardo.
"Where's Serena and Ethan?," whispered Hendrick at Enrique.
