It's been a few weeks since Lorcan proposed to Adrianna, and Serena had just returned from visiting Cortez in Los Angeles when she received a call from Juanes while she was having discussions with Fabian in her office. Smiling to herself, she excused herself and answered the phone.
"¿Que pasa hermano? Ya me extrañaste?," Serena chuckled (What's up, brother? Did you miss me already?)
There was a few seconds of silence.
"Serena..," Juanes's ragged voice came inside the phone.
Something's wrong.
"Juanes?," Serena's heart clenched.
"We're under attack," said Juanes.
That's when Serena realized that there were shouting and yelling behind Juanes. There was a sound of gunshots and machine guns and a loud boom confirming that there was an explosion.
"Juanes!! Take my jet!! Get everyone and get out of there!!," Serena yelled on her phone.
