Chapter 3 - T W O

*Faith's POV*

I was alone.

I was afraid.

I was in darkness.

Everything was black.

"Why is it so dark? HELLO?! CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME?!" I yell into the nothingness of the place I was.

'Why am I here? What happened? Why is it dark?' Questions start to fill my head.

"Mom?" I speak as I started to remember the events of before.

My mother was killed by two men. But I still can't remember what happened after that. All I remember is that I woke up in the hospital. A strange male came into my room and I didn't know who he was so I was scared. He came up to me and said he was my father. I didn't know what to think I just wanted my mom. But the man that calls himself my father took me in and took care of me. I was lost without direction. I just followed after "my father" not knowing if I should trust him.

I jump up on my bed in my fathers mansion and looked around. A male walked into my room and looked me in the eyes.

"Your awake. How did you sleep, my little angel?" My father asks me I step off my bed and stretch and my wings extending.

"Good morning father. I slept good." I answer as I walk closer to my father.

It's been three weeks since my mother's death. I was stuck in the hospital four two of them cause of the stab wound on my back. I have only been in my fathers house for a week and I didn't like it. I missed my mom. I wanted to be with her. My mom was the only one that was there for me when I need her. She protected me when I felt in danger. She was my world, hero, my light. Now that she was gone, my world is filled with darkness.

I've been getting nightmares since being let out of the hospital a week ago. These nightmares always were of darkness. I was always alone in the darkness. It scares me to know that my moms gone, and that I'm left with nothing. This world of full of cruelty and horrible people. I want to use my gift that I have been given to change that.

Little did the girl know who truly killed her mother, and that she was in the same house as the one that ordered it. She had no clue what this gift of hers she was born with contained. She had no clue how to use it, but she would soon find out the true behind the lies.
