'I want to see Tobca' Dyllis thought a bit traumatized from the whole torturing scene with that Pysco of winter fae prince, yes she did kill everybody that was in the underground castle. Seeing a dead human body didn't really bother as it should've, she didn't really feel much for the humans it must be because she had accepted her monster nature.
She understands she has to kill humans or humanoids alike to level up, even though she killed many people she still felt a pang of nagging guilt as a part of her was somewhat human. She looked at the water fae with loving eyes, still, a bit confused on what to do with Tobca and her feelings towards her. The water fae just sat at a bench eating some meat soup surprise.
Dyllis strut her way over and collapse her hands over Tobca eyes, the fae remained quiet, the cold flesh covering her eyes she could only guess it was Dyllis "Dyllis is that you" Tobca said in a soft tone, removing her hands from the water fae eyes she sat down next to her.
Dyllis gave tobca a light peck on her cheek before heading to the quest counter, remembering she had all the evidence for the hunt, the other adventurers were already there "What took you so long newbie? we have been waiting over 5 minutes already" One of the guys spoke.
The priest dressed guy nudge the other in the gut "Please show evidence you have completed the quest" The man at the table stated in a plain voice, Dyllis waves her hand over the counter, two different small piles laid before the guy. He inspected the weapons pile first as a look of shock came over his face, he soon regains his calm demeanour.
He then looked over at the evidence in the other pile "How should I split this he mumbles to himself as he counted all the adventures" He tapped his finger on the counter calculating the prices. The leader of the small group spoke "Dyllis here will be getting all the money from the weapons since with her we would have just left them, Sounds fair. Right dyllis?" She asked Dyllis only for the younger female to curtly nod in agreement.
"Then Dyllis you will be rewarded with 35 gold coins base on their current quality they would have been at a higher price if was in better condition" The replenish picked up all the weapons and put them in a back room coming out with a bag of 35 gold coins.
Dyllis took the coins, one of the other female adventures looked at dyllis with envy. The others thought she deserved the coins. Dyllis thought they were good people just a bit too Arrogant, one of these days their arrogance will get them killed she thought. Tobca approach her and grabbed her hand 'what's the rush?' dyllis couldn't help but think as they flew down the flights of stairs. Dyllis put the block against the door and it slides open, the water fae dragged her inside as the door slowly shuts behind them.
She pulled a folded yellow piece of paper and handed it to Dyllis, odd thought the wendigo. Tobca would usually be a lot more talkative, she opens the note and read the rewards and the request. Her eyes widen in surprise, Tobca had long since pushed her hood showing a huge grin as blood lust lit up in her eyes.
She hoped Dyllis would agree to the mission, Dyllis took off her hood as her stomach growled out in hunger. The Wendigo did a thumbs up, this made Tobca bounce up and down in joy "I knew you wouldn't refuse such a bountiful request!" She exclaimed in happiness.
Dyllis pulled out a pile of humanoids limbs and starts munching down on them gaining exp a notification popped up "You have gained two more clan members congrats host" The cannibal blinked stupidly at the notification 'Thought I was the only one who could turn others?' she questioned herself.
I should ask the system later she thought as the system lately has been bugging out a lot. Another thought came to her mind 'Couldn't I buy the bark from the market she thought carefully. After a few more minutes of chowing on down limbs. She got up feeling a bit tired but fought to be awake.
She pulled out the magical book and pen "We will strike them tonight than before I go into hibernation again, also I will be at the market to get some supplies" The book spoke plainly. Tobca was all smiles, she looked like the Chester cat at how much her smile stretch her eyes that of a creation moon shape. She thought for a moment before writing more "We will go on another quest though to get more money after I get back from the market" Tobca could only flap her wings in excitement.
Dyllis left the key with Tobca as she went out of the room and headed towards the market, She went to a different stall but all of them didn't have Sitka spruce. All the vendors called it useless wood so they never bother with it. One vendor with a young girl saw Dyllis approach their stand, they got up in excitement. "What is the dear customer looking for?" she asked politely, Dyllis looked at all the present 4 ft tall trunks on display before asking with the magical book "Do you have any Sitka spruce?" the young girl got startled.
She took time to regain her composure "I think we have one at the back of the wagon" She said thoughtfully, she went behind the stand and came around with 4ft tall Sitka spruce with a width of 15 inches. Dyllis admired the trunk before waiting to hear how much it cost "About 1 gold coin for this trunk" the young girl said even though the highest it would go was about 30 slivers since there ain't much use to it.
The tree was extremely hard to find as well which added to its worth, Dyllis nodded and took money out of her bank. She took out her hard-earned gold coin and gave it to the vendor. After that, she places the trunk in her inventory and headed back to the guild to go do the mission that Tobca picked and to prepare for the upcoming assassination.
Before she enters she created the harp and kept it in her inventory shortly after a ding sounded off in her head. You have been rewarded the following 400 system points.
