"Your mother, the former queen lived in the village of Verlaine. She truly loved that place even if she had the whole palace around her. She was always considerate for humans even if she's a vampire. Our people loved her too. They called her the guardian of humans." I stayed quiet and listened to his story. I never knew about my mother that much. All I know is she sacrificed herself just for the sake of me.
"I met your father when I was a kid. He would always give me food to eat and he taught me how to hunt. He lived as a humble and wise pureblood. Then he met your mother. He fell in love with your mother because they both adored humans, they both treasured us and we are forever grateful to them as well as to you, my Queen. They never failed to take care of this kingdom and I don't even know why they chose me for the throne"
My father once told me that my mother's blood is much superior to him. There is a reason why Mom lived in the hands of humans and it is to hide her from the other purebloods who wanted the throne. My father succeeded over the throne but he never really knew my mother is a pureblood until he married her, making them both inseparable from the throne and passed unto me.
That's why nobody dared to defy the blood of the Rayden. The highest, the noblest, and the purest blood of all the purebloods.
"My father ordered me not to be harsh to you, King Hans. That's why I'm joining hands with you on this war" I proclaimed.
I took off my royal cloak. The table is now filled with armory and swords. I only chose my sword which I engraved my name on it using my blood. And a gun maybe, it could be helpful.
"Cryle Deve. He was the one who created the rebellion and made his own kingdom. A half-human and a half-vampire. They would abduct my people in order for us to give them gold and it's been going for about months now but when you sent the royal order, they suddenly stopped the movement and just kept my men behind their doors." he explained.
"I guess he really wanted to wage a war against us and you, my Queen"
What do they want from me? Gold? Money? or Power?
"How many humans are abducted? Are you sure they're not killed?" I asked.
"A hundred of them. I'm sure they wanted to use them as bait. It has a high possibility that they will execute them as soon as the war starts, your highness. But I know that they are incapable of war. All of the rebels are humans except Deve and most of them are forced."
The King is right. They aim to bait those innocent humans in order to take what they really want. They will never wage a war without their filthy intentions.
I sighed and formally bid my leave, "Thank you for the information, King Hans. I shall now go and commence the attack. You should stay here and rest, I will take the lead and go in the frontlines"
He bowed once again, "Prince Ransel is going with you, my Queen"

The Alpha Team, the 10 battalions, and the human soldiers guided by the prince. I am enough to taunt them and this army I created is more than enough. I'll settle this one and for all. We aren't supposed to fight humans, we are the soldiers that have a duty to protect the lives of humans yet any sign of rebellion coming from humans or vampires
Shall be eliminated.
"As we all know, this isn't the fight we were supposed to take part in but always remember that whoever taints and rebel the royal kingdom shall never see the light ever again." I stated, "Battalion 3 and 5 shall prioritize saving the victims but I permit everyone to make the rebels suffer in fear and pain. However, killing them shall be your last option. Taint your hands by the blood of X-species but not by the blood of humans."
"All soldiers recite!"
"WE, THE SOLDIERS OF THE RAYDEN SWORE TO PROTECT THE ROYAL KINGDOM BY EXTERMINATING ANYONE WHO DISHONORS THE PUREBLOOD AND THE QUEEN" I smiled at their final response. Indeed. I honed the right soldiers and the right men.
"Commence the attack"
All formations are arranged after my command. The battalions immediately started the attack and raided the place. The Alpha Team and the Prince are with me who both stood their grounds. The Verlaine is not much farther than Terlaine because originally, it was under the Kingdom of Terlaine. As figured, Verlaine has no signs of any protective barrier or walls. They only built wooden boards as their walls causing my men to easily barge in.
"Alpha Team and Prince Ransel, we shall now move forward too" I ordered
"YES, MY QUEEN"
The horses kept running as soon as I initiated. No signs of X-species so far, not even a single trace. Odd.
We reached the land of Verlaine. Riot welcomed us. With Kiel siding with us, all vampires are granted their own protective barrier, not allowing any single human cause harm to them. I see that the only person who has the blood of a vampire here is the traitor of his own kind.
Humans continued to shout in pain. Rebels to be exact.
The peaceful and organized life of the kingdom of Terlaine is contradictory to Verlaine. It is a dark and chaotic place. No signs of resources of food or water, only small broken houses which has nothing in it. I can't believe they turned my mother's land into a dirty and tainted place.
"NO! MY MEN! YOU FOOLS!" Finally.
My eyes gazed at the man in front who seems to be flustered over his own failure.
"Cryle Deve. The traitor" ragged clothes with a large bottle of alcohol in his hands. This is too disappointing.
"Y-you! You, vampires, have no right to be on the throne! How come that all of these f*cking men had the guts to obey this f*cking bitch!"
I heard the trigger of a gun behind me, I raised my right hand for him to hold his fire.
Observing the rebel's action, he began to panic when his men fell one by one by the hands of my mine. "Why do they fear you so much— what makes you so powerful that no one even dares to defy you!"
"Half vampires and half-humans can actually defy the pureblood since they have the blood of humans. Humans can defy all kinds of purebloods but not me." I jumped down from my horse, walked towards the man who is now trembling with fear. See?
"You. A lowly half-human and half-vampire don't deserve to set a foot on this kingdom. I proclaim your execution by tomorrow at the royal palace with your tiny human rebels"
"NO! PLEASE!" his pleading tone irritated me. A weak man has the guts to disobey the kingdom? Disgusting.
"Your highness, I smell them"
My eyes shifted in the direction of the South.
