As Elizabeth sat in the RV with a glass of wine in her hand, she couldn't help but allow her mind to wonder. She looked at the forest with long eyes as she couldn't help, but worry about her son. Maybe it was her mind playing games on her or if it was her motherly instincts telling her something was wrong.
"Maybe.. I should have kept that device," she muttered to herself as she wanted to make sure they were alright. Her mind then went back to the words Amay had said to her. Those words were like a slap to her soul, but deep down Elizabeth knew she was right.
With a long sigh, Elizabeth placed her glass on the table. She then placed her head in her hands to cover her eyes. Her smooth normal skin color faded as it turned dark grey. Visible wrinkles should her frown and her now yellowish-orange eyes showed the bags she carried from feeling like the whole world was resting on her shoulders. Another sigh left her mouth as she didn't know what to do.
Just before she could break down, she heard the door to the RV open up. This caused her to jump to her feet with a mixture of joy and fear.
"Amay...I," Elizabeth found the words leaving her mouth as she say the figure enter the door. Yet, her words fell short on seeing it was her oldest daughter. "Oh. Sorry about that sweetie." She said seeing the worried look in her daughter's eyes.
Martha didn't say a word as she closed the door behind her. She made her way up the small stairs, and just gave her mother a hug. She could feel Elizabeth arms wrap around her and hold her tightly. She didn't has to say anything to know her mom was hurting and needed a hug.
Elizabeth gently placed a kiss on Martha's forehead as she pulled away to wipe a tear from her left eye. A soft giggle left her mouth as she smiled at her big baby.
"You always know what I need without saying a word," she told her. "What made you come inside?"
"Rain. Coming soon from the East. Smells like a big storm." Martha said as her face slightly blushed from the love she was receiving. "And I'm ready to do my part of our deal."
"Ah. Your senses were always the best," Elizabeth acknowledged her daughter's skills. She then sat back down, and pulled her hair back out of her face. "Very well then. Go grab my box." She told Martha while grabbing her cup of wine.
"Yes, ma'am." Martha said while heading to the back of the RV. Within a few seconds, she had returned with a flowered heart shape box. She handed the box to Elizabeth before taking a seat on the ground infront of her.
Elizabeth placed the box on the small table and pulled the lack back to reveal different times of make up and hair products inside. "What color would you like for today. I'm thinking emerald green with braided ponytails?" She said eyeing the different shades of green.
"How about lime?" Martha suggested back.
"Lime it is. Now turn to face me." Elizabeth told Martha pulling out the nail polish. She felt her daughter's hand rest on her lap as she patiently waited. The smell of nail polish filled the RV as she started to carefully paint her daughter's hand. "How do you think your brother and Amay are doing?"
"Hmmm," Martha let out as she looked up to the right. "I would guess not to well. After he gets over the realization that the creature is real. He should start to fight back with Amay helping him. Give or take a few hits, they should be done or falling back to rethink their plan," She said as she could feel the wet polish touching her finger nail. Although the smell was too much, she could tolerate it for now.
"Ouch. Do think they will win?" Elizabeth asked moving to the next finger.
"I hope so," Martha said as she wasn't fully sure herself. She heard her mother let out a light chuckle.
"Fate will only tell," Elizabeth said as she looked at her daughter with her yellowish-orange eyes as she looked into her daughter's hazel one. "But I hope as well." She said while booping her daughter's nose.
Back in the forest, Lucas fail to the ground as he barely dodged the creature's massive fist. He could feel the air whooshing by from the quick punch. He didn't have time to take in how close he was from loosing his head, due to having to roll out of the way of his massive foot.
"Goddammit Lucas, Focus!" Amay roared at Lucas as she jumped onto the creature's back and tried to thrust her dagger into it's left shoulder blade. However, Bigfoot didn't give her the chance as his massive hand wrapped around her head. She could feel the force behind it and the sudden rush followed by a sharp pain as pulled her off and tossed her to the ground like a rage doll.
"Amay!!" Lucas screamed as he watched her land hard and get up with blood coming from her mouth. This caused him to realize how much he need to focus.
"I'm...fine." Amay said getting back up. she could feel pain from multiple parts of her body and blood dripped from her mouth and from a few wounds; however her healing began to kick in. "Watch out!" She warned Lucas as she saw the creature about to punch the ground were Lucas head was.
Lucas immediately looked up and rolled to his left dodging the attack. His aura engulfed his body as he looked up at the creature. He was nervous, but Amay was right.
"I will have enough time to take this all in later, but I need to survive to do so." Lucas told himself as quickly got to his feet, and moved to the creature's side. His light blue aura engulfed his fist as electricity danced around it. He's been working on a way to harness how to control the shocks he give off and what better way to test it then be on this target.
Lucas pulled back his lift hand, and delivered a quick jab to Bigfoots side. He could see the creature's hair stand on edge as his electricity went through him. Wave of shock and whoa went through him as he realized he hit Bigfoot. That feeling was short lived as Bigfoot pulled his left arm forward and forcefully brought it back at Lucas.
Out of pure reflex, Lucas raised his arms to block the attack. He expected it to hurt, but he didn't expect the force of the blow would lift him off of the ground and him being slammed into a tree. Lucas felt the rush of numbness as the pain set in quickly. He gasped for air as he started to cough heavily.
"Fuck." The words left his mouth as he could have sworn he was hit by a truck. His fear began to set in as he barley could move his arms or even get up. His heart began to pump fast as he could feel his adrenaline began to kick in. A chill went down his spine as he watched the shadow of the creature loom over him.
The sound of breaking breathing branches and twigs came fast as a blur of red went behind the creature. The creature roared as he started to collapse to his knees. He turned his head to make eye contact with Amay with dried blood on her lip and blood dripped from her fingers that were covered with blood claws. While her dress was a mess, she was far from done.
She popped her fingers as the blood hardened. Without another word, she charged at the creature with the intention of continuing their battle. As the creature tried to get back to it's feet, and actually through a punch at Amay. She sidestep his fist, but used her lift hand to cut at the top of it's hand and glided under his arm until she was infront of it's chest.
A wicked smile came across her face as she began to cut at the creature. Amay started to leave big cuts in the creature's hand and chest as she began to blitz him. The creature finally had enough and used his massive hand to grab the girl by her waist even with his hand getting cut up. As pain ran through him, he pulled his arm back while at the same time he stood up.
With a mighty roar, he slammed the small girl into the ground, nearly making a crater with her in it. He felt her blood hit his hand and face as he knocked the air out of her. He watched as she slowly continued to scratch at her arm and knew some of her bones must have been broken. Yet she was still trying to fight back.
He loosen his grip around her, and pulled his fist back to finish her off. However, his body went stiff as a rush of electricity began to shoot throughout his body. He let out a roar as Lucas let out his own.
Although his arms felt numb and he was in pain, Lucas's body refused to allow him to sit there and get hurt. His heart was pumping and he could feel his body becoming weaker with each shock, but he need to by her sometime to heal. Without warning Lucas felt the creature grab his arm and yanked him over his shoulder and land on top of Amay. As his head hit back of the ground Lucas vision went black.
"Lucas..Lucas wake up!" Amay struggled to push the unconscious boy off of her. He had pinned her down and to make matters worse, she needed a few seconds to allow her body to heal from that slam. All she could was watch as she creature get back to it's feet and look down at them. She watched as it pulled it's fist back as a clear force began to engulf it.
"Damnit, WAKE UP!!" She screamed at the slowly waking boy.
"These Demi-Humans that choose to deviate from the normality of a regular one are far more unpredictable and could seek a multitude of things. Power usually being the main source, but not all the time. They will do anything to get it, even killing," Elizabeth voice spoke up. "They are know as Rouge Demi-Human and should be avoided at all cost."
"If you ever find yourself with one or around one, you need to leave. Fighting one in either of your current state is a death sentence. " Elizabeth said looking at both Amay and Lucas with serious eyes. She couldn't stress this enough to both of them, even when Amay knew exactly what she was talking about.
As the creature brought his fist back readying to deliver the finishing blow, a pair of four eyes opened and thick sticky substance almost like web stuck to his first. This caught both the creature and Amay off guard. He tried to pull his fist back to him, but the substance wouldn't budge.
Bigfoot's body jerked three times as three spikes punctured and protruded through his body causing blood to hit the ground and on Lucas's face. His body began to lift off of the ground as he felt spikes dig deeper into his body. As he tried to move his body or do anything, he couldn't do it and was completely paralyzed.
"FuFuFu, It seems like I found a satisfying meal for a while," A female voice said as her human like hands with a black insect like joints and armor running down her preys face as her arachnid appendages dug deeper into him. There was a loud wet and crunching sound as the creature in her grasp went cold and limp.
"Aww here we go." She said as she allowed the now dead bigfoot body to hit the ground with a thump as his blood pooled from his body from the four holes.
Amay went silent as she looked up and watched their new foe's mouth opened vertically revealing two massive fangs as she consumed the creature's crystal with a loud gulp.
"That voice." Amay thought to herself as she knew exactly who this was. A wave of shock and utter fear began to spread throughout her body as she knew that her and Lucas needed to leave immediately.
As the spider like female licked her lips from enjoying her meal, she began to lick her fingers with the blood on it.
"Rumor has it that you were dead, but clearly that was a lie. And it looks like you haven't changed at all. Still that scared embarrassment of the Yangu Family that ditched her whole clan to run off with that human. I'm surprise you managed to survive this long." She spoke in a condescending voice to Amay.
"What....What are you doing here?" Amay said trying to hide her fear as she finally had the strength to roll Lucas off of her. Her light pink hair was a mess, but she never took her eyes off of the guest above her. She need Lucas to fully wake up now because this whole situation just became worse.
"Tell me, Hazukashi-sa. Why don't we pick up where we left off like in the good old days." The woman said as she began to laugh at the scared girl as a wave of energy began to pour off of her
"Damn it, Lucas. Wake up." Amay said in a low mutter with fear and worry in her voice.
