Chapter 60 - Chapter 59

As the sun started to rise and the morning dew began to evaporate, sweat began to cover Lucas's face. He was almost at his limit as he pushed himself to do one more push-up. On any other day this would not have been a problem, but today he was wanting to push himself a little harder.

"Just a few more." He told himself as he went down. He could feel his arms began to shake as he was close to his limit. The weight on his back began to shift upwards and before Lucas knew it something went entered his ear.

"Jesus, Amay." Lucas nearly screamed as he jerked his head and used his left hand to cover his ear. The sudden shift and surprised caused him and her to fall onto the ground. Lucas heard the childish giggle of Amay as he quickly began to wipe the spit from his ear. "Why is there a lot?" He asked as he kept wiping.

Amay laid on her back in the moist patch of grass holding her stomach as she barley could hold back her childish laughter. A tear nearly formed in her eye as she learned forward to look at her partner. "Sorry. Sorry. I got bored after 84. Plus you let your own guard down," she said as a smile curved her red lips.

"That's so nasty," Lucas groaned as he stood up and looked down at her. He had asked her early to sit on his back too add a little more weight to his push ups. A sight left Lucas mouth as he could feel that his break was over with. "Are you ready?" He asked her as he heard his bones pop a little.

Amay hopped to her feet and raised her hands above her head to stretch her arms. She ran her finger through her pinkish red hair before grabbing and placing the hair tie on it. "I guess. You are getting better. Maybe you will win this time." She said giving Lucas some words of encouragement.

"That is the goal," Lucas chuckled a little as he got serious and concentrated. If he learned anything from sparing with Amay so far is that she's sneaky.

With one more sigh, Lucas took off towards Amay. His light blue aura engulfed his right hand as he tried to hit Amay with a right hook.

Amay pulled her body back and felt his energy barley graze her nose. "He's getting close," she thought as a smirk came across her face. Her pupils pulsated as she grabbed his arm handled. With her free left hand, she jabbed his forearm, his bicep, and finished with a jab to his rib. She let go of his arm and quickly disappeared in a blur of red hair.

Lucas could feel his arm tighten up for her hard jabs and the hit to his side made him close his arm up. He knew the pain was there but he needed to keep his eyes on Amay. "Damn," He said as he lost a sight of her for that split second.

He then felt something wrap around his neck and began to squeeze on his windpipe causing him to choke. He quickly realized that Amay got him in a headlock and was planning to choke him out.

"It's not wise to try and attack without a plan. "Especially against someone faster then you," Amay whispered in Lucas's ear. She hand changed her size to be as tall as Martha to make her grip tighter and to make it harder for him to try anything. "How long will it take before you pass out?" she asked mockingly.

Lucas began to chock as he tried to get his left hand under her arm, but she had her arm locked tight. He could feel his panic began to rise as he started to move and push her back. His right arm was still tingling, so he was left with one arm. Using what he saw in a video, Lucas used his left arm and tried to elbow Amay as hard as he could.

Pain shot through Amay's side up to her chest and waist as she could feel how hard he was fighting back. Yet this did nothing but make her grip tighten. She could hear Lucas starting to wheezing for air. "5 more second..." Amay said in a sinister giggle. "You're running out of time~." she told him in a sing-song tone.

"Damnit." Lucas said as he could see the darkness starting to draw in. He could feel his body starting to slow down and become heavy. His left and right hand began to weakly scratch at Amay's arms as he slowly fell to both his knees. "I need to do something. Something. Quickly." Lucas thought to himself as he was vision went fully black.

With the last of his strength, Lucas right arm barley touched Amay's. Three single sparks left his fingers and made contact with Amay's hand. It wasn't major or a big shock, but felt like a sudden pinch. This pinch caused goosebumps to form on Amay's arm, and caught her by surprise.

"Ouch." Amay said feeling the sudden jolt and loosening her grip.

This single moment. This momet of her loosening her grip allowed life to flow back into him with a single breath. Within this next second, Lucas grabbed Amay's arm as tightly. He leaned forward pulling Amay with him. His aura danced around him as he reached into himself with all his might and pulled her off.

Amay's eyes went wide as she went from watching his back to laying on the ground looking up at Lucas face. Her body bounced with a thump. She was too surprised to noticed the pain that shot through her body from being slammed to the ground. Her mouth was left open as she looked at Lucas as his aura danced around him.

"He....he... flipped me," Amay said it to herself in disbelief.

Lucas nearly collapsed to the ground almost near Amay and started to cough heavily. His face was red and he was struggling to catch his breath. His hand was nearly scratching at his chest for more air. He didn't notice Amay slowly raising up as she reverted back to her regular height.

She didn't say anything as she rubbed the back of her head and brought it back to examine it. "My own blood," She said still taken back at what just happened.

"Are you alright?" Lucas asked her while still trying to get his breathing under control. He then turned to look at her.

Amay looked at the blood for a moment before bring it to her mouth and licking it. A smile came across her face as she truly surprise. "He keeps surprising me each and everytime," She thought to herself as her face deeply blushed and a smile came across her face. She quickly shook her head and surpress those sudden feelings.

"Yes. I'm fine. Just taken back," She told him the half truth. "How about you? Can you still fight?"

"Yeah," Lucas said feeling back to normal. He then stood up fully. He couldn't help, but rub his neck for a moment with his right hand. A puzzled looked came across his as he shocked himself. "Ouch." He let out as he pulled his hands back.

His eyes went wide as he could visible see sparks on his fingers along with his aura around him. "Whoa." Lucas said as he was shocked about this discovery. He looked at his hand and quietly looked at the back of Amay's exposed neck. He then looked at his hand again. For a few seconds, Lucas looked at the two and a smile came across his face.

As she sat on the ground trying to regroup herself, a sudden jolt went down her spine and caused her to jump a little. A "eep" left her mouth as she just straight up off the ground. She quickly turned around to see Lucas smiling deviously at her. A low rumble left Amay's mouth as she stared daggers at him.

"Hey. We are even now," Lucas said holding up both hands. "I just discovered it, so don't blame me fully.

"You better learn how to use it fast, because I'm not holding back after that." Amay told him as she readied herself.

"That's the next test," Lucas said giving her another smile.
