I am a shadow...
A darkness that slays darkness...
My bullets shall pierce the hearts of those wretched evil vixens and purge their existence into damnation...
I loathe them...
I hate them...
They deserve to burn in the flames of the 13 circles of Inferno and be slain by my hands.
I will protect this world by ridding it of their vile existence...
So that no one can suffer the same fate that I suffered...
No longer will anyone be victimized by their evil magic... No one will become a slave to their deceitful contracts and be robbed of their freedom and everything they own because of these vermin...
He will burn them all in stakes and chain their souls down to the path of the damned where Cerberus will gobble them whole...
He will purge the world of witches and destroy the evil of their magic...
Because he is Cairus, Slayer of Witches...
And he had found his next target all thanks to a tower of darkness.
He observed her from the window of her hospital room happily speaking with the Lightbringer knight, Phoebus Granger. He watched her carefully, engraving her name on the bullets he will use to nail on her coffin.
Tick tock tick tock tick tock...
It's only a matter of time before he puts this evil vixen to her final rest. He had heard about her immortality and prowess but all of that will be nothing once he pulls the trigger.
Yes, he had found the best material to kill an immortal evil like her... Something that she will not heal from...
He paused...
The witch was staring directly at him even though he's from another building, his room shrouded in darkness hiding him in the shadows...
But somehow...
She saw him...
And she smiled...
Not a vile one, not a malicious one, but a friendly one before her attention went back to the male she was speaking with.
No one had done that before. No one had sensed him until they were dead. He is a shadow in darkness and yet this bitch-!!
A purple butterfly suddenly fluttered in front of him taking him off guard. It quickly burned into a violet symbol that exploded once it formed, destroying his room and decimating everything he was working with within the blink of an eye...
Smoke rose into heaven but the destruction was only limited to his room and the purple fire didn't spread elsewhere keeping the other inhabitants of the inn safe.
"What a nice trick." he commented emerging from the smoke, bits of his clothes had burned as well as the bandages wrapped around his face but he's overall fine. He had wrapped himself with the enchanted cloak made of dragon skin allowing him to attain no serious injuries from the unexpected attack.
"This will make the chase more fun. A prey that fights back is a more satisfying game than the one that accepts its fate." he whispered into the wind before putting on his hat.
"Rejoice Rubisviel, Orchid Butterfly Witch of the Dark Forest and descendant of the great phantasmal Pendragon." he opened his hand revealing the last bullet he had that can kill the witch made from the bones of the Demon of Death Thanatos where the witch's name was engraved. She had wittily destroyed his equipment and supplies making it more difficult to kill her but this will never deter him. What she did made him more excited to face her and take her life.
"I have deemed you worthy of my effort and utmost hate. Prepare yourself for I will come and kill you."
Ruby was finally discharged from the hospital after a few more days of rest. Phoebus only visited thrice which greatly disappointed her but she figured that he had so much on his plate at the moment looking for Aleister and driving away from the constant monster attacks. Adrian dropped by the most, being less narcissistic and annoying which allowed the Butterfly Witch to tolerate his presence also because he looks a lot like her deceased vampire husband Adrian Vladimir who passed away centuries ago. Plus he often brings her strawberry cakes so she can't really complain much.
At one point Ruby forgot that the Adrian beside her wasn't the vampire count she fell in love with which ended with them tangled in each other making out intensely on the bed. One of his hands was already inside her panties while the other fondled her breast. They were only snapped back to their senses when Narisa arrived to bring Ruby her meal which ended up on the floor due to her utter surprise.
The witch quickly pushed the fighter away and apologized to the faunus who looked like she was going to pass out any minute. Ruby conjured a memory loss spell on the nurse so that the incident won't spread out like wildfire and reach the ears of Phoebus, her one true love. A violet butterfly materialized from the tip of her index finger when she pointed it to the girl. The butterfly fluttered towards Narisa whose eyes became blank for a while before returning to their natural blue vibrance.
"Oh my Gods, I'm sorry Miss Rubisviel! I spilled your meal. Please forgive me! I forgot how it happened but it doesn't matter. I'll just get you a new one and clean this up." Narisa sputtered in panic before leaving to accomplish her promises.
"That's one handy trick. What do you say we continue where we left off?" Adrian said seductively pinning her again on the bed and pushing his knee up her crotch.
"I'm tired. And what happened was a mere accident and forgetfulness on my part. Sorry to give you false hope but you really reassembled my dead husband." Ruby declined pushing him back weakly but it was enough to detach him from her since he pulled away himself.
"Wait, you were married? How come no one knows that? Since when?"
"Oh does being married make me a turn off? Then I should have told you that a while ago." Ruby said in humor.
"No, quite the opposite. It makes me more turned on. What about a quickie before that child comes back? I promise I'll be very good." he whispered sensually.
"No thanks. I'd prefer my fingers or a rubber dildo and you also don't have to remember the last ten minutes." Ruby raised her finger one more time and produced another butterfly.
"You really don't want your baby Granger to know anything dirty you do, do you? You love him greatly. It makes me kind of envious and jealous. But I want a last parting gift before I forget that you willingly kissed me." Adrian suddenly grabbed her hand and pinned it over her head before crashing his lips with hers and pushing his tongue in her parted mouth. He twirled it with hers before licking her strawberry sweet crevice.
It soon ended when Ruby mustered enough strength to push him away and use the erasure spell on him.
Ruby walked through the woods with Manticat flying languidly beside her. She missed the smell of the fresh woods, the moist dirt, and the comfortingly cold wind that faintly kisses her cheeks and ruffles her dress. She left the undergrowth path and emerged to the clearing where her cottage stood only to find it trashed and overrun by wolves. She sighed before summoning her scythe.
"That demon is going to get an earful when he gets back." she mumbled before jumping towards the first wolf and slaying it with one slash.
