There are six of them coming in a different way. Her body is on top of a creature whereas the latter's body is very long to the point it was half-buried.
Just imagine a wood is half-buried to a wall, it was like that.
Thanks to her for ordering the creature to not moving a muscle, she stands steadily as if she was on the ground.
The old man widened his eyelids upon the sight. He also uncovers everything that limiting his vision to get a better view. Whether it was the mask, special suit, or even the dark robe.
Soon enough, six of them open their mouth and their prey equip herself with two barrel-like shotgun but much smaller, the size of a handgun. These bad bois of course from her inventory.
Although small, it cannot be underestimated.
She aimed it towards the one whose proximity is close, pull the trigger and the gun does its job, shooting a bullet and at the same time leaving hissing steam on the very back of the gun. It also shot out an empty shell.
The creature's head blows up into a million little pieces as the bullet pierces through its tough skull. Blood flowing out as if a fountain and the bullet didn't stop there, it continues shot forwards before finally hit the curvy soil.
Forming a meter and half deep crater, this proves just how much strong the weapon is.
Its body pushed back due to the powerful force from the bullet.
To make it more precise, imagine a person holding a shotgun and shot a zombie on its face within close range. The result is obvious, the zombie's head blows up into little pieces and its body flew back like a doll.
As the old man saw the sight, an idea popped out but it was not possible at the moment, he looked around searching for something to make it possible and saw it.
A centipede was coming at him from underground, the old man could tell this much thanks to his senses.
Soon enough, he jumped at the creature as it passed in front of him. It dives out from the underground and like a dolphin, it dives back.
Its body is like the small word 'n' when it passed the old man, and he is in the middle. The old man jumped to its back and hugged tightly on its body, the creature didn't realize that there is a small insect on its back.
Its senses only focus towards Kino and making it madly digging upwards, the old man's eyelids are half-closed to prevent any dirt or dust entering his eyes.
The creature leaves a small tunnel as it digs and then, a minute had passed. The creature came out and don't know why, it only came up for a few seconds before surf back to the curvy soil.
Before it did though, the old man looked up and saw another lifeless body fell, it seems it had been killed a few breaths ago.

The old man didn't waste any time either after it reaches the range of the grappling hook, he shoots his grappling hook gun on his left hand to the lifeless body.
The hook entered its body after it pierces through the tough scale and his body pulled towards the hook at a very high speed and at the same time, the creature's speed heading to the ground is increased.
In the process, he browsed his inventory to find an item that has a similar effect to a grappling hook, though, he is not that confident about it.
All of his inventory is full of crafting materials and when he about to store them to storage chest, he gets a mission and in hurry, he could only store 70% of materials inside the storage chest.
After that, he immediately drags all the important stuff from the storage chest to his inventory, whether it was weapons, ammunition and few grenades. He also brought few items but can't remember what he brought, who knows he actually brought this item?
Luckily, he finds it. It was a small ball exuding green light. It was sticky, its stickiness is very similar to that of a gum.
His eyes are lit up and brimming with excitement when found it.
Next, he presses the ball with his right hand and the item makes a ticking sound and the green glow flickers every time it ticks, he hurriedly aimed his right hand to the curvy soil on top of him, its distance is about thirty-five meters away.

After three ticks, he quickly let go the hook from the creature as it about to pass him by the shoulder.

Anyway, her killing intent is still there and sharp as ever be, still, a normal person would hide its killing intent when knowing these creatures only kill those with sharp killing intent.
Kino decides to make it sharper to attract more of them so it could be used for a stepping tool to get out from here. She also didn't expect the old man would be able to get up here from down there.
Twirling the gun on her right hand to reload and dodged the upcoming attacks from her right and left simultaneously, she does a hand back spring but with one hand and her legs didn't land, instead, it was shot upwards.
Her body then spinning for a few breaths and in the process, more creatures came out from the curvy soil by shot themselves in a straight line.
Their movements when it happened is coordinated, there seems to be front line and backline
Like a Beyblade, she shoots the enemies on the head one by one at extraordinary speed and her body doesn't show any signs of stopping, yet.
Another thing has to be added though, as of now. She held two weapons and it could only have three bullets each so, in total, she could only pull the trigger for six times.
Her precision is terrifyingly accurate but a bullet misses the front line but it hits the ones from the backline. Their blood is green liquid and it gushes out and six lifeless bodies fell.
One for six. If that isn't amazing then what is? The sight is of course amazed the old man.
"What a weapon." He said in disbelief while Kino is twitching her lips.
"Tch, that is not enough!" She complained.
Soon enough, she ran out of ammo and had to reload but it will take two seconds to do it, while it seems short, it would be enough for these centipedes to kill her.
Before she ran out though, she somehow able to kill fifteen of them.
The old man noticed the situation and immediately help her by throwing another stun grenade from his inventory but before it did, maybe because of his sweaty hands, it slips and fell.
'Really?' He said himself as he cannot believe what just happen.
