I rolled over and looked at how peacefully my girl was sleeping. I got out of bed, put on some clothes, and went downstairs to the reception desk. When I came back to the room, Sheng Lia rolled over and looked at me as I stood in the doorway with red roses.
"Morning, beautiful, " I smiled.
"Where did you go just now?" She asked.
"Down to the flower shop to get you there," I said as I handed her the lilac.
She brought them up to her nose and smelled them.
"They're beautiful. Thank you, babe, " she said as she reached up and kissed me.
"You're welcome. Our breakfast will be here soon. I ordered your favourite breakfast, " I said to her.
