As I grabbed her hand as we walked through the parking lot of the hospital. She was trying to put on a brave front, but I could see right through it.
Gu Min had sent me a text, asking me to call him as soon as we receive the results. We were escorted into Dr Fu office and told to have a seat.
Ru Wen kept bouncing her leg up and down. I put my hand on her knee to try and calm her down. Dr Fu walked through the door and looked at us.
"How are you feeling today?" she asked her.
What the hell kind of question is that?! I wanted to say.
How does she think that Ru Wen would be feeling at this tense moment?
So Ru Wen answers that she was very nervous as Dr Fu sat down at her desk and opened Ru Wen file.
She looked at her and then at me.
"Alright. So I am happy to tell you that the trial treatments were successful. Congratulation and you are in full remission now, Ru Wen," she smiled.
