Tonight was a turning point for me as Ru Wen let her guard down and showed me her broken side. \
As what I've thought about the scars on her wrists that she must had a terrible past. Little did I knew that she would have to fight cancer in her teen. She closed her eyes as she resting her head on my shoulder.
I knew that she was exhausted, and now was past midnight already. So I needed to get her home. Carefully, I picked her up from the sand and carried her across the beach to my wrangler. She put her arms around my neck and laid her head on my chest.
Then I held her tight so she will feel safe with me. As soon I reach, I opened my wrangler door before gently put her in the front seat.
She started to stir so I whispered to her.
"Sleep, my angel."
I pulled out of the parking lot and drove to her apartment. I kept looking at her as she slept peacefully. She looked like an angel.
