Then I saw a friend and colleague of mine, Lee and his wife, standing at the other side of the room.
So I lightly touched her elbow and escorted her to where he and his wife were standing.
"Good evening, Mr Mu," Lee said as we shook hands.
"Yes, Mr Lee, Mrs Lee. I would like you to meet a friend of mine, Miss Ru Wen."
"You have beautiful friends, Mr Mu," he smiled as he lightly kissed her hand.
I gave a small smile and watched as Mrs Mu has eyed Ru Wen up and down. Mrs Lee and I had a bit of history involved, and I bet that things have left her bitter. She had fallen hard and wanted more from me, but I had nothing to give.
Lee put his arm around me and led me off to the side where the ladies couldn't hear us.
"Mr Mu. Luna is coming. So I just think you should know," he said.
"What? Didn't I've told you to make sure she wouldn't be here," I snapped?
