As time passed by, I found myself waking up to the reality that I'll be living alone for quite a long time now, without Naomi-unnie. Also, I found myself waking up to a strange rainy morning in South Korea.
Atleast, there's some type of ghost that watches over me all the time now, just like what it said on the mail.
I don't know why or how but my perspective now partaining to ghosts and stuff changed after handling the journal and reading the email. It made me realize that ghosts just need justice among their deaths, or sometimes wanted to just roam around their old places and didn't mean to scare the people living there in the present time.
Thus, after reading that email, I felt some type of connection with that 'ghost.' It felt like I know it for a long time now and it feels like it knows me for a long time now too. I can't believe that these type of things exist; ghosts sending emails to living people in the 21st century.
Duh, it's the 21st century, Nefertari.
Just like the old times, I dismissed my alarm from my phone. Another day for work. Standing up, I began to prepare for my shoot today with Balenciaga. They were the recent ones to hire me as their new model and I'm glad to be part of their family.
Before showering, I went downstairs to energize myself with coffee. I promised myself to have a yoga session when I get home later. Cleaning the dishes and tidying up some mess downstairs, I took a warm shower upstairs as I prepared for today's grand agenda.
After showering and changing into my work clothes, I began to fix my makeup and wore a minimal one since makeup's going to be extravagant later at the shoot. Plus, I wear sunglasses everytime I go out so I guess it wouldn't matter somehow.
When I was about to leave the house, my phone buzzed and there was my manager's text message, saying that my shoot has been rescheduled and to just stay indoors for some time. Great.
I laid down on my couch and sat there for awhile as I went to my social media accounts. I sighed for all of my efforts were kind of like wasted.
All of a sudden, there was another notification. An email notification.
My heart began to beat fast again as I tapped the email to read it.
From: unknown123
"Email two.
Greetings again.
Looking good today, pretty lady. It's as if you don't look good everyday though, ehe. I guess your adventure with me officially starts today. Aren't you excited? Woohoo! Let's party! Hope you'll still stick around though.
Look at this ghost, complimenting me and teasing the hell out of me as if it was still alive. But hey, thanks for the compliment, anyways.
Enough with that, don't get too full of yourself. Anyways, here's your second mail objectives so your clothes and preparation will not go to waste:
• There's a café at Hongdae, at the second street, first shop. You would notice it immediately because of its' maroon color. It's called 'Red Velvet.'
• Ask for their managernim and introduce your name to her.
• Read them for me, arasso? Just the synopsis because I know you're not a fan of books. Maybe those two books will give you a clue.
• I know you so just remember, I'm watching you all the time.
Best of luck, annyeong."

Getting out of this cab that took me here from my house, I noticed that the rain started to calm down. What a good timing it is. I looked around the street and saw a lot of trendy stores but yeah, I looked for the second store which had the color maroon as their main color outside.
I opened the door of this fancy café named Red Velvet and I was greeted by the aroma of different types of coffees which I found satisfying.
From the outside, it has a strong vibe with its maroon and black colors but on the inside, it's the complete opposite. The inside's very colorful with many motivational words and 'Power Up' written in a nice font at the walls. There were bookshelves scattered around a place as its theme. The place were sort of crowded, maybe this is popular.
"Annyeong." I said to the barista and bowed politely. She bowed as well and I saw her nametag, she was Lauren, she's cute by the way. "Is your manager around?"
"Oh, yeah. Wait, I'll be right back." She said and went to their office. Tapping the main desk, I looked at their menu to familiarize myself to the thing's their offering for satisfaction. After a few minutes, she came back with some who had long sascading black hair and a small beautiful face. Maybe it was their manager.
"Annyeong, you were looking for me?" The manager named Lucy smiled at me.
I nodded and offered my hand for a handshake. "Hi, I'm Nefertari Kim."
She stood frozen for a few seconds which got me arching my eyebrow in confusion. "A-ah, Miss Nefertari, mianhae. Kindly take a seat first and Wendy, guide her to the best spot of the place and take this beautiful lady's order as well."
"Nae, managernim." Lauren obliged and smiled warmly at me. "Let's go, miss?"
We went to best spot of the café, which is really breathtaking.
It gave me access to see the view of Hongdae's busy avenue, and it was a really private place with a personal bookshelf offered for you.
"I'd like a caramel macchiato please." I said and she wrote it on her mini notepad.
"Anything else to add, ma'am?" I noticed that her voice has a different accent which I find amazing.
"Well, a slice of blueberry cheesecake would do." I smiled and looked around the place that they offered for me.
When she was about to go back, she left some words for me and I blushed immediately. "You look way more beautiful in person rather than magazines and all, Miss Nefertari."

Minutes passed as South Korea became one definition of a literal sunshine. The rain had left no trace at the said city, which is kind of funny to think about.
I looked at my phone and scrolled to my gallery. I swiped to make such memory trail. My gallery's full of sacred memories just like you. Before tearing up, I saw another staff named Hannah alongside their managernim.
The said staff placed my orders and bowed and I smiled at her.
"Here you go," Manager Lucy said as she placed two books on my table. "Hope you like it and someone has already paid your dues. Have a good day."
The two of them bowed and went back to assist their other customers. Hm, who may have paid that bill.
I didn't know that ghosts can pay things nowadays.
I took pictures of my food and began to endulge it as my hands traveled the cover of the two books.
I took ahold of the first book. Bridge to Terabithia is its' title.
After reading its summary, the book's all about Jesse and Leslie create a sanctuary called Terabithia, where they play and roam freely, away from bullies and other kids from school.
It kind of like makes sense now but I still need to find puzzle pieces to cut these assumptions of mine. I shook my head and smiled.
This is ghost is a dork.
I took the second book and began to examine it. We Are Completely Beside Ourselves is the title of the book.
After reading again, the summary says that Rosemary's lament for her long lost sister Fern takes on new complexity when you realize that Fern isn't actually a human being.
That made me really confused.
Two books with different meanings but it is connected to one story?
