We came to the bureaucrat building, the building is bigger than the guild building and beside the bureaucrat is tannen tower. The beacon on the top of the tower is already lighted up. Now we just need to protect this city as long as we can until help is coming.
When we came to the bureaucrat building, all the staff are busy with their work. Even though it's already night there's still so much employer in here because there is a signal of flood the work of them become doubled, they need to calculate and prepare for the worse. They must prepare for the aftermath of the battle, the prepared army, weapon, magic weapon, city asset, and Etc, that need budgeting from the government. One of the staff then guides us to the meeting room on the fourth floor. In there all of the officials are already waiting for us.
When the meeting door is opened we can see Rudy with all the officials in the room sit on the chair, the table in that room is a big round table. All 5 of the official already gather in that place. The governor, vice governor, The commander of the army, the minister of finance, and the minister of the people. All of them gather in this room with us.
"Then lets us start this meeting, we can't waste any time now."
The one who spoke is the one who holds the authority, it was the governor of this city.
All of them then sit on the chair, rudy and Alcott sit too, except me and jade we are Alcott's bodyguard. We already get permission from the official to come, to this meeting. The official knew that if something bad happens to Alcott we are the ones responsible for it.
"Before the meeting started let me introduce myself first, I'm Duke Deston Gervinia, I'm the one who governs this city and the chairman of this meeting, beside me there is my vice…"
"I'm Viscount Foll Bandel, the vice governor of this city."
After he introduced himself, the chairman/the governor then introduce the other.
"beside him…"
"I'm the commander of the army in this city, my name is Charlotte Gervinia."
The commander is a girl with the same back name as the governor.
"and…"
The chairman then introduces the other official.
"My name is Count Karman Ahsian, The minister of people"
"And lastly…"
"My name is Earl Adelaide Esme, I'm the minister of finance in this City."
The official of this city is from the surrounding country they are the ones responsible for this city. That's why there's no similarity in their family name.
Then it's Alcott's turn to introduce himself.
"I'm Sir Marquis Alcott Von Godfrey from Arugos kingdom."
"Then Sir Alcott, we already heard the situation from Rudy the Grand Arbiter. But we want to know the situation from you, can you tell us about the monster that you release in that forest?"
The chairman is really to the point… by the way, what with that 'grand arbiter'? is that Rudy's title? It was the first time I heard his title.
"Yes, I guess I will summarize it all…"
Alcott then begins his story, He tells us about the ruin, underground ruin, the inscription, and that beast. His story is not different from what he said in the guild when Rudy asked for the explanation, but it's more detailed.
After Alcott finishes his story, the official who heard Alcott's story then makes a serious expression. They're in the deep of thinking something. Silence comes into the room, some of them cover their face to hide their exhausted expression. They can't hide their surprised expression, knowing the fact that after all this time, there's a dangerous beast live like that in that forest.
"That is crazy... how can you release a beast like that?"
The one who asked is the ministry of people, Karman Ahsian.
"The room already has a forbidden sign why did you even still open that gate?"
Karman tries to blame Alcott for his mistake.
"Is not that we want to open that gate, we don't know that the green button on the inscription is the button to open the gate. After we got in front of that gate, the way behind us is closed by something like a gate… we didn't know that there's another gate and we thought if we push that button the gate behind us will be open… instead… the open one is the gate in front of us."
The story so far is, when Alcott and his party found out that there's another underground facility in that ruin, the underground facility that Alcott find is leading Alcott to find the gate that sealed that beast, he comes down to the ruin without knowing that there's a trap. The gate that locked his way out should be the second gate to restrain that beast, he tried to open the door behind, and in the end, he can open the second gate with the gate that seals the monster.
If what Alcott says is true, then I thought... I wonder how can the second gate, that restrains that beast is open like that? Somehow why the gate is opening like that? Is there something that makes the door is opened? I don't know, but what I can tell is, the door is activated again after Alcott and his party passes that gate. And when Alcott opens the gate, there's a possibility that Alcott deactivated all security in that facility.
"In the first place should be the join nation expedition come for two weeks again? Why did you in such a hurry?"
The one who asks is Adelaide. Join nation expedition is the expedition that held by all the nation in the Ethereal continent to study this ruin. Because this ruin only been found out 5 months ago, the other nation needs some preparation and fund to join this expedition, that's why it took 5 months to prepare.
"We…"
Alcott looks like wants to hide something from them, he can't answer that question immediately.
"Before you answer that question, you should already know this, you can't hide anything from this meeting if you hide the fact or something from us, you should know that your country will never ever join in the treaty of this city anymore. So I want you to answer it carefully and says only the truth if you said the truth us as the management of this city maybe can help your nation, remember that"
What a bold man. By what the chairman said he just threaten a country just like that… the treaty is really important, after all, this city is produce the most magic crystal from the monster, the magic crystal from the monster is very important to create a magic weapon or magic tool.

Answer Alcott. With this Alcott can't lie or spit some nonsense. The threaten from the chairman can make Alcott and his country think twice before they can say some bullshit.
"We have some information about that ruin…"

That book is containing information about the Nation from 5000 years ago… I read that book and from the information of that book it should be trustable, from the information of that book there's a weapon that used by the military from 5000 years ago, I begin to search and found out that location is in ruin somewhere in here, thus we concluded that ruin has that weapon, the king who knew this information then send us to this ruin…"
All the officials who hear this then give them a scornful word to Alcott.
"What a shameful bastard!"
"Are your country did not know any shame!?"
"Isn't it will be the same as us if each one of your nations knew information like this? You will send the expedition team before anyone else!!??"
Alcott then shouts to counter the badmouthing of his kingdom from others.
The official then makes a ruckus, but the chairman didn't say anything he only heard it. Then he raises his hand, signaling to all the people in the room to shut their mouths.
"What about the guild? The guild should already know right? Isn't Arugos kingdom ask the permission to the guild before doing expedition?"
What the chairman said is true the guild is the one who gives him the permission, the guild is the one who responsible for the party that does the expedition. All the officials then look at Rudy, Rudy then stand.
"Yes, the guild is the one who gave them permission, we gave them permission with careful consideration and the answer is… this is the copy of the proposal they give to us and this is the copy of permission we gave to them"
Rudy then gave a copy of the proposal and the permission to each of the official. All of them then read it carefully they didn't want to miss a single thing. I can see some of the officials read the copy of the proposal and permission make an exhausted expression and some of them close their mouth with their hand. Not long after that, they're already finished read the proposal and the permission.
"I see I understand now"
Chairman then crossed his hand, the silence once again comes to the room all the people can't say anything from what they just read before. All the officials can't say anything they only can cover their faces with their hands or crossed their arms.
"Everyone!"
The chairman breaks the silence. All of the people in the room then looked at the chairman.
"We already know the truth and the story from Alcott and Rudy already give the copy of their proposal and the copy of permission, the story is the truth not only that the proof is already in our hand, then there's nothing we need to discuss anymore this is should already enough to give them punishment, With this 4 other nation and Arugos Kingdom as the leader of this proposal shall be punished for breaking the agreement with the other country, are all of you agree?"
The chairman then asked the other official in the room, no one objects to the chairman's decision all of them agree with the chairman.
"Then, We as the witness of this disaster, the one who get the damage from the action of this 5 nation and this document as the proof of their crime, we will give the verdict to Arugos Kingdom, Waryana Empire, Wang dynasty, Eudora Kingdom, and the East Republic, they shall get the punishment for breaking the agreement, their sentence will be carried over to the Ethereal conference this year!!
