A few days had passed since Edmond looked for Finch with his uncle's help. He still had not heard anything about Finch. He felt like it was his fault for leaving Finch alone in the bedroom while he was having dinner with his family. Guilt would forever stain in his mind.
If only he took Finch with him.
"Ed, we will find her." Spoke Neil, sitting next to his younger brother in the bedroom. He had been staying next to Edmond for the past few days, giving support as best as he could. Neil felt sorry for Edmond as his only friend had gone. If they were in Easton, he would have thought that Thomas or another boys might have Finch. But they were in Claremont now, those boys would not come here. It was too far away from his homeland.
Edmond hugged both of his knees as he sobbed. "I'm scared that she is hurt. She was alone now." His eyes were flooded with tears.
