"Do you really have to leave so soon?"
Eyes sparkling with despair and admiration, Klavier clung unto the chest of the ginger-haired boy while running his index finger along with the buttons of his shirt. They spent hours flirting and throwing shady compliments to each other while Romien did his best to make sure, Aldaric Haider or by his celebrity name — Bronze, will not bother to come anywhere near the pillows and cushions they formed to disguise a form of a sleeping girl.
Aldaric's low IQ helped them make the trickery believable for the ginger-haired visitor. It's been more than 3 hours and he wasn't able to notice the pillows on the bed weren't the girl she wanted to see. He simply believed, she was indeed in the bed sleeping and doesn't want to be moved or bothered.
The food intended for the consumption of Raine was already eaten by the blonde-haired girl for stress eating. Racquel sobbed quietly in a corner while licking the sauce inside the plastic Tupperware, making sure it would not go to waste. The devastated blonde was too caught up stress eating that she didn't pay the handsome man any attention. Romien noticed outside the window was in a darker hue as the automatic lights started to glow brighter each minute. Looking at his watch, he was right to put in mind that it was close to evening.
The brown-haired boy amongst them turned to the two non- couple boys flirting on the couch, "Klavier, I think Aldaric needs to go," Romien said, finally figured out where did Klavier hid Raine's blood-covered scrunchie, "And need I say, he has a boyfriend..."
Both of the boys chuckled before Klavier stood from Aldaric's lap and helped the brown-haired boy tie his hair in a messy bun, "Oh shush! There is something called an open relationship," Klavier lessoned his friend, "I don't settle for one, Romien. Maybe try that and you'll probably end up with someone who likes you..."
After tying his hair in a desirable bun, Klavier got back to sticking his hand on different parts of the ginger-haired man. They heard the clinking sound of metal in the corner and saw Racquel licking the utensils, "Same goes for you, blonde bitch," Klavier called her attention before she gobbles up the inedible parts of the lunch, "Stop that or you'll go fat!"
Like a wild boar out of her cage, Racquel roared at the clinging monkey, "I need this!" she continued licking and whining as Klavier and Romien just sighed at their dear friend's drama, "Don't take this away from me too!"
Aldaric didn't notice a blonde girl with blue eyes until he heard her talk. Maybe it was because of the reason, Klavier jumped on top of him, the moment he entered the room and examine the surroundings. He was sure he had seen them somewhere else, but he has too few brain cells to remember that. Determined to make himself known, he located himself in front of the cowering girl, "I didn't notice you there, Miss Blondie!" he offered his hand like a prince charming as he made his voice huskier, "I failed to acknowledge your beauty until now..."
She was star-struck, If not she was paralyzed by the amount of libido the male was secreting just by using his looks and charm. Racquel was about to take heaven sent hand when a jealous grey-haired male stole it after saying, "Don't bother... She's loyal to some assho—"
Pinching his legs, Racquel fought over the ginger-haired man, "Shut up, Klavier!" the female gained strength to debate, "You've had him for 3 hours now!"
"Loyal people, huh?" Aldaric chortled and turned his back nonchalantly on both of them, "Once you get your hearts broken, you'll regret not picking more fishes from the ocean..."
Completely annoyed with his immature tactics, Romien came back with a stronger statement, "Well, some of us prefer our fish fresh, not frozen..."
...
Appalled, Aldaric froze for a moment chuckled, and clapped his hands, "Look at that, Romien!" he complimented before putting back the sunglasses from Privé Revaux, "Finally answering back to your elders!"
Upon hearing Aldaric, the fighting cats stopped in their wrestle and asked while can't help stuttering their word out, "E- elders?"
Romien almost burst out in laughter as if the feeling of rejection already rejected him, but seeing Racquel trampling Klavier's face just to get a chance to woo Aldaric, brought him great hopelessness. He just straightened up and revealed, "He's 25 years old."
Instead of getting their feelings down the drain, Klavier and Racquel got a stronger reason to fight for the adult male, "Daddy!"— they both exclaimed in high pitched voices and hugged Aldaric. Racquel had her one leg hooked on the male's waist while Klavier just kept his head rested on his chest. Aldaric was a young-looking adult and despicably skinny for the man who works out, but his effect on people explains why he was in the showbusiness.
The ginger-haired male was ultimately used by this kind of reaction from people. Scooping up the blonde girl's chin, he threw her a smirk before whispering, "You're not so loyal now, huh?"
It wasn't much contact, though, it was enough to make both shakes in pleasure. Aldaric left them on the couch fantasizing about his voice and perfume. He stood up after a notification on his phone popped out on the screen, a bell dinged sound rang across the room and caught all of them off guard, "Just my newsfeed," he said before removing his sunglasses to read the new headline.
"I've had fun! I need to get going..." the older male sashayed away from them while waving his hand, "By the way, I didn't catch your names," — he looked up from his phone and asked the two paralyzed hopeless romantic on the couch.
Romien's eye twitched as massaged the temples of his aching head before asking, "You're flirting with him for 3 hours and none of those topics are your names," the poor boy was mind-blown by how these people miss out on the first thing you know from a person before you establish an x-rated with them.
Aldaric leaned on the door and shook his head slowly, "Innocent creature. The City of Love is going to eat you alive with a croissant," — before putting back the sunglasses.
"Klavier Baernaise," the male was the first to answer before the girl did, "Racquel Porscha..."
"Porscha?" Aldaric bit his lip and opened his phone again, "Oh what a coincidence!"
Racquel asked curiously, "Why?"
"You have the same surname as that doctor who just died a few blocks away from here!" The male was cheering over a found uncanny coincidence before reading the big lettered headline on his news feed, "Psychiatrist Amanda Porscha was found brutally dismantled and burned at the backside of Carpeaux Mental Institution," He was too caught up reading the subheadline that he didn't pay attention to Racquel who was turning pale as her newly applied mascara dripped with her tears. Her feet were cemented to the floor and was conflicted on what to do next so, she turned to her best friend and let her weight on him as her legs cannot function with the excessive wobbling.
Romien and Klavier accompanied the girl and maintained her breathing to prevent her hyperventilating, "When was that?"
Panicked, Romien did not wait for Aldaric to scroll all the way and snatched the phone from his hand. The brown-haired boy lost his breath as his eyes focused on the words, "Just now..." — if the situation couldn't get any worse, Racquel's phone rang, her shaky fingers pulled it out from her purse. Klavier closed his eyes for a second when the phone hit the floor because it slipped his best friend's hand.
Klavier picked up the phone from the floor, checked for any dents, and answered the phone for the trembling damsel, "H- Hello?"— Racquel's voice cracked, and listened to the police officer on the other line.
Abruptly, the girl stood up, only to lose balance and fall on Romien's arms, "Racquel," the boy sighed and got the gurl sitting on the couch, without crouching down, "Please sit first. All that sodium in the butter makes her blood pressure go up," he explained to Klavier and made him pour her a glass of water.
She gulped down the cold beverage and slowly exhaled the pressure while the boys gave her some space. Romien took out the scrunchie on his hair and proceeded to tie Racquel's untidy hair, he smiled upon seeing the lady's rosy cheeks coming back to their formal glory. While catching her breath, Racquel motioned Romien to lean closer before she whispered in a breathy voice, "My Au- auntie. I need to go there," she paused to moisturize her dry cracking lips, "I am the last person who called..."
"We'll get you there, " Romien reassured her. He instructed Aldaric to prepare his vehicle while Klavier was the one to stay in the hospital room, If Raine comes back, there will be someone to explain the situation. Klavier was feeling a little anxious about the situation of his black haired friend. She wasn't answering their calls, and it's been too long since she left to visit her criminal boyfriend. Everyone was still trying to grasp the other murders, but their worlds were a series of murder mystery parties where the escape is another escape room. Klavier fanned the girl as he brought her the paper bag with her dark red heels. After blowing out a few airs at his friend, he looked at the time and wondered why the two took so long, driving the vehicle in front of the hospital's entrance.
"Klavier," the waiting blonde called, "They say, I might be a suspect..."
