Third Person
Bar Haven: 2nd Floor (Orphanage)
Raine was starting to think of the white-haired boy as an actual good person, but after what he presented in front of her— It was the greatest regret she had done.
"Oh my..." Her knees were trembling once again, she was seeing blood anywhere and for once it wasn't caused by Saccharide. Without thinking twice of her actions, she rushed inside the room full of intestines, blood, and other bodily fluids. Her dirty dress was heavily dyed when she crouched down to wake up the unconscious male. His injuries were severe that she had little hope he'll make it for another hour inside the suffocating hell of a room.
"Nightmare!" she lightly slapped his cheeks, until his lids fluttered open. He creaked open his lips, but no sound came out. He scrunched her nose and held her breath as she inhaled the reeking smell of his breath. A squeak came out of her throat when small larvas crawled out of his wounded leg.
Dione laughed and leaned against the door as he watched the female panic on where to start tending the male, "Hah! Now, you get my pun awhile ago about the worst Nightmare," he stopped laughing when Raine looked at him with a searing stare. Raine closed her eyes for a moment to ease her anger before finally putting the wounded boy's arm on her shoulder for support.
"Rent me a room," Raine instructed, her tone scared him for a second, "Any room and I'll pay for it," The girl was more enraged when Dione sat on his bed, removed his socks and shoes, before laying in his bed, not bothered by the condition of his gang member.
He closed his eyes and said with a hint of child-like teasing, "No way, I'm doing that!"
Raine had no choice, but to give her command by physical contact once again. She set Nightmare down on the floor before raising her hand in the air. Dione had no intention of stopping her, he just had to leave a few words before that happens, "Before you slap me, you must know Saccharide was the one to initiate this," the white-haired boy said and peeked out on her expression by keeping one eye open.
"He did this for you," he continued and finally pointed to his cheek, she was going to slap.
Instead of going to the original plan, Raine gave up making the stubborn teen move so, she just heaved the injured Nightmare from the floor and walked up to the door.
Nightmare used his remaining strength and pushed Raine from him. They both fell on the floor with a thump, Raine was confused as to why the boy didn't want to exit. He was obviously deep in pain, but the sight of the door brought him another level of petrification.
"Nightmare... Come on!" Raine motivated him and whispered to him, "I'll get you to the Hospital..."
The boy hesitated to get up and leaned his body on the door, blocking it. The girl didn't know what was he implying so, he looked at the only person who could have an idea. Raine didn't have to wait long for the answer to arrive when Dion pulled out a syringe full of bubbling red liquid inside.
"I injected the liquid bomb in his veins. Once you leave this building, I'll push this button and within a 5-meter radius, he'll explode like a pimple and pop like a cherry," the white-haired boy winked and waved the needlepoint in front of the helpless folks on the floor. Feeling almighty, he revealed a remote— the same remote he used to explode the brains out of Walter Hillary, James Trois, and his other victims.
Raine stared at him in disbelief and disgust while Dione admired the burning red orbs, sinking in his souls. The girl wrapped her hands around her throat and continued to glare at him. She remembered the drink he made for her and imagined the mixed liquid bubbling inside her.
"I didn't put any in your drink if that's what you're glaring about," Dione smiled and set aside the liquid bomb inside his drawer, but kept the remote firmly held in his hand.
Raine shouted at the smiling male, "You're sick!"
Dione's smile turned into a frown, he stood up and pulled the shaking girl closer to him, "Everyone's sick for you Raine!" he roared back, hoping that the girl would be tamed down, "You're the reason why this madness started!"
Raine burst into tears, but the fierceness in her eyes never disappeared, "That's why I'm ending it!" she yanked her arms from him and grabbed the collar of his shirt, "You don't have to do this anymore. Just give me the remote and I'll be out of your lives, please..."
"You can't take him to the hospital. How can you explain his injuries?" Dione held her wrists and pushed her on the bed so, he was appearing gigantic over her, "And the half count of his blood is liquid bomb— What? You're going to take me inside the jail with your boyfriend?"
Whimpering, Raine turned her head to the side as her tears suffocated her, "I— I don't know, but I need to get him to the hospital!"
The girl decided to fight the strong male so she could get up and help the other teen on the floor. Her kicks were not enough to shake Dione off her. While she was struggling and pouring all her strength, the white-haired boy kept her down effortlessly and just stared. Getting sick and tired of seeing his boss's girl being a doormat, he let her go and bolted towards the door. Raine immediately stood up, but she was pushed on the bed again. This time, her pupils dilated when she heard a familiar click.
The white-haired boy locked the door then leaned his exhausted body on the door, "Open the door, Dione!" He bit his lower lip and turned to his right as the pounding on the door became louder. A little boy was standing at the end of the hallway, holding a tray of shot glasses, Menthos seemed scared at the banging sound coming from the door.
Dione sent him away by motioning his hand before kicking to shock the person knocking, "I said I would lock you there until I get your boyfriend out of prison," he chortled and shouted back, "Too bad, you didn't take me seriously!"
"Dione Hayden!" Raine shouted with a shaky voice, "Open the door!"
He didn't plan on doing this, but he was left to deal with a serious problem. Specifically, a stubborn problem at that, "You're not ruining this!" he reasoned out, "Don't you realize Saccharide did this for you? And you'll just go saving the enemy!"
The girl answered and he was appalled at how much her response affected him, "He's no enemy! He cares for me unlike you who only plays by our side for the thrill you seek!"
Raine stepped aside when she heard the click again and it revealed an ally who lost his spirit to help her deeds. He pushed the door wide open, "Really, that's dumb..." Dione whispered to himself as the girl rushed to the Nightmare and carried him up on her shoulders again.
They were outside the door when they both heard the white-haired boy sigh, "Alright..."
Regardless of the clear contradiction from her boyfriend's trustworthy servant, she continued to walk down the hallway to get the injured boy the help he needs. Dione exited his room and watched the two limped their way, he gripped the remote firmly before following the two, "I guess you only have two choices now. Leave this room without the complete him or leave this room with his remains scattered on the street. Choose wisely," he lectured the female that made her stop.
Smirking to himself, Dione chuckled after the girl passed Nightmare on his shoulder then walked away without a word. The white-haired boy looked at the unconscious boy and brought him back to his blood bath he was in before whispering, "When you thought an angel has come to save you..."
"Sorry Aquilla," he flicked the crawling worms out of his hair and laughed, "That girl is many things, but brave is not one of the—"
To pass the time, he decided to draw another drawing featuring his almost dying victim inside the confidential room. The blood in a glass container was labeled Nightmare, the outline of his disturbing art was done and as he opened the cap of the glass container, he froze.
A knock.
Dione rolled his eyes and proceeded to open the door, "You've got to be—" He wasn't given a chance to continue his phrase when the girl pushed him away and walked past him like the wind passing the corner of a tree trunk. The boy couldn't stop rolling his eyes when she witnessed the girl holding a key— a key that was familiar to the white-haired boy inhabiting the building. It was the key to the newest room on the first floor.
She availed it. What a bi—
"Does it hurt that much?" she asked while the disoriented boy on the floor nodded, "Wait for us, alright?"
Raine turned to Dione and with pleading eyes and pouting lips, she got his attention. She grabbed his hands, but he yanked them away. The black-haired lady sighed and engulfed the boy's hand using hers before requesting, "Dione, come with me..." she muttered sweetly, "I'll give you a 10.5 rating if you do..."
He said no, but apparently, a slap can make every machine move like it's new. Dione Hayden is one of those machines.
