*ring ring*
Daphne's alarm rang noisily, while she continued to ignore it. After finally fighting the sleep, she glances at the clock to check the time.
"Crap I'm late!" she exclaimed, heading to the bathroom to do whatever washing up she could do. Her mind raced with thoughts of her nightmares from last night again. They were getting better but Daphne still suffers a lot from them.
Running down the stairs, Daphne greeted her parents good morning but she did not seem to get a reply. She brushed it off, thinking they were out for work already.
Her parents worked as professional chefs, they didn't have much time for their children; Daphne and Audrey. But they tried their best to spend time with them and worked hard to make sure their family was happy.
Daphne ran to the old bus stop. Daphne has come to this bus stop nearly everyday for the last eighteen years. Even before she was born, her parents came here. The bus stop was old and needed a new coat of paint, but it held lots of memories for the Hwang family and that's all that mattered to them.
Daphne's mind was clouded with thoughts and worries as she aimlessly waited for the bus. Unknowingly, she was standing in the middle of the road. Totally preoccupied, she failed to notice that the bus was already on its way.

It was too late, everything stopped and all turned dark. Daphne felt like she was leaving her body on the cold asphalt ground.
