Speeding across the sky was Crowley with Lilith hot on his tail. He was flying in a serpentine pattern to avoid the incoming fireballs. Lilith knew better than to use her purgatory flames, but that didn't mean they weren't substantial.
'She's not even aiming for the vest.'
Crowley dove down and turned to retaliate with javelins of wind. Lilith just smirked and navigated between them gracefully. He extended his hand as the missing attacks combined, and aimed for the vest. Feeling a slight push, and the ping of two crystals she glanced down.
'Not bad for a runt, but I'm still not gonna let up that easy.'
A scarlet whip appeared in Lilith's hand as she reared it back. The whip curled up, and Crowley watched closely for the strike. He lifted his hands to interrupt Lilith as the flames on the whip intensified. Lilith made several swift strokes as rings of fire appeared above her.
'Gotta act now.' Crowley began chanting in Lilim.
"Not fast enough!" Lilith declared while cracking her whip.
Nine rings launched forward as Crowley began to evade. They weren't difficult to dodge, but any attempt to do so was futile. Lilith would simply crack her whip, and they would redirect into new formations.
Gradually Crowley was being boxed in, and evading was becoming increasingly difficult. Sweat was pouring down his brow, but he kept his composure. The rings were improving and started to skim across the edges of his wings. Regardless of his resistance, the flames were leaving scorch marks.
'Nobles really are a pain.'
Even under the pain, Crowley's chanting didn't falter in the slightest. The next barrage was sweeping by as the chant finished. Lilith was struggling to maintain her altitude as a wind storm kicked up. She was being pulled in his direction, and that's when she noticed the force gathering in his hand.
'Seems he really looks up to you.' Lilith smirked at the imitation orb.
"Not gonna knock me down this easy," Lilith told Crowley.
Lilith began flapping her wings wildly till she was free from his domain. Her aura erupted as the nine rings halted, and realigned in the sky. Once in position, the rings extended as they filled with flames, and an eerie feeling swept the arena. Dark clouds covered the area as the demon citizens glanced towards the arena,
"I can understand why you look up to Zack, but you should be your own man. Women don't like imitations." Lilith stated.
Red hands plunged through the flames as familiars resembling demons poked their heads out. Each one was modeled after a creature from each circle of hell. Lilith would typically conjure them through black flames, but this was still a game. She simply wanted to test the limits of Crowley's abilities.
They surrounded Crowley, and he took a moment to examine their horrid appearances. Spending all his life on the surface he has never seen beings like this. He assumed they were simply embodiments of a wicked woman. Lilith floated his way with a smirk on her face as she tightened the whip in her hand.
"This is what happens when you interfere in adult matters. Usually groveling would be the penance, but since you're my man's disciple I'll let you off easy with an apology." Lilith approached Crowley.
"You nobles talk too damn much. Since master likes you for some reason, I'll give you the same courtesy...Take a deep breath." Crowley smiled.
His hands slammed together as the orb disappeared, and the familiars with it. Lilith clutched her chest as she gasped for air. Rapidly flying her way was Crowley as he struck her vest with the scepter. She attempted to grab him, but he flew back at incredible speeds without fluttering his wings.
Lilith was surrounded by an area void of oxygen. Crowley is currently enveloped by a layer of magic allowing him to breathe freely. That same layer of protection can shift his body through the sky effortlessly. He was dashing around Lilith striking repetitively as the crystals continued to ignite.
'I've seen this before.' Lilith attempted to escape.
No matter where she flew things remained the same. Crowley was the epicenter for the magic, and so long as Lilith couldn't outrun him she was stuck. The final blow struck the vest as Crowley's magic dissipated. Lilith landed nearby to catch her breath as he descended behind her to do the same.
'Damn it! It seems a minute is still my limit...I was hoping she would get dizzy first, but now I'm dead.'
Lilith was turning around as Crowley braced himself for an attack. She snatched Crowley up, and he closed his eyes. Being in a headlock Crowley prepared for the worst as Lilith's hand moved down swiftly.
"Not bad for a little brat." Lilith tussled his hair.
"Wh-what a-are you do-doing?" Crowley asked.
"I've met a lot of wind demons, but not one that could best me. Then again I didn't summon them properly." Lilith boasted.
Crowley looked up and realized what the soft sensation against his cheek was.
"Get off." Crowley slipped out from her grasp and created some distance.
'What was that about? Maybe he doesn't...I see.' Lilith realized Crowley avoiding his gaze.
"Looking at your master's woman is a breach of etiquette right? I'll have to mention it when I see him." Lilith crossed her arms with a smirk.
"Who would be interested in a hag-like you!" Crowley declared.
"I'm sorry can you say that again."
Lilith's whip appeared in its true form as the vein twitched above her brow. Crowley felt the malevolent aura radiating from the whip as it struck the ground. He few off rapidly, but there was no escaping Lilith's fury.
While Crowley underwent the most intense training regimen of his life the contestants were dwindling. The cause was one team sweeping across the battlefield as a force of nature. Because of them, only three other groups remained.
Playing in the plains was Yu, and at her side was Pan. They were hiding behind rocks to sneak up on Ashleigh's faction. Ashleigh was leading the remnants of the older students after Amy.
Amy's nimble maneuvers through the sky were a true test for their accuracy, and she enjoyed every second of it. Watching the others set up a formation, and Amy getting cornered it was time. With their backs, open Yu's group sprang out to sneak a few of the students.
