Chapter 159 - Chapter 159

Swimming in front of Zack was a swarm of kurage who moved in with the mermaid settlers. They are an extremely friendly species that can be a little too trustworthy, and it's why they were brought in by the others. Their jellyfish humanoids who are typically drifting through the ocean in a swarm. They are peaceful, but when threatened can quickly become very lethal.

The kurage closely resembled humans with two major differences. They had a veil-like umbrella around their heads with several little tentacles draped along the edges, and another around her waist resembling a skirt. Their bodies were almost completely transparent under the water. Their hair came in shades of purple, pink, and blue.

Seeing his arrival Akikio began swimming around him excitedly. Akiko had long lavender hair under her veil, teal eyes, and an innocent smile that could warm anyone's heart. As she got closer Zack's nose began to bleed seeing her ample bosom visible with nipples, and all to see.

"Akiko it's happening again," Zack announced before looking away.

"Sorry I still forget sometimes," Akiko replied as the visage of clothes reappeared.

"It's fine they are working on some clothes right now that should work for you," Zack replied looking back over slowly.

When they first arrived they all swam around nude, and thankfully they couldn't walk among the land for more than a few minutes. Once told about the children they made simple alterations by focusing. They in fact had no clothes it was simply the appearance of it. With their unique bodies, he was curious how procreation went. Given his past experiences with aquatic species, his curiosity was being poked at. With her warm personality, it was even harder to resist.

"Rolen made these for everyone," Zack said while retrieving some bracelets from the ring Rolen gave him.

"It's really pretty, but what do I do with it? Akiko asked looking at it closely.

"Here let me show you. Come here, everyone." Zack gestured the others to approach.

Zack grabbed the bracelet carefully putting it on Akiko. They were designed to store large amounts of water, and allow them to prolong their stay on the land for days before returning. It also made their control over their bodies better to prevent nip slips. Seeing how close Zack was Akiko leaned in closely touching his face.

"You feel so warm," Akiko said with a warm smile on her face.

'Shit not again.'

Zack dashed back as the tentacles rapidly extended trying to seize his arm, but he dodged it. Their ability to shift their tentacles, and redirect them within the water was difficult to avoid. With so many coming at him two wrapped around his arm and leg as the limbs went numb.

Being the youngest in the bunch Akiko has yet to be with a man and touching him triggered her instincts. This was the second time it happened, and why only Zack could deal with her. She still had some training to complete to use her tentacles properly.

"I have to be somewhere right now, and it's really important," Zack told Akiko as the others watched quietly.

They were a dense bunch, but even Akiko could see the concern in his face releasing him.

"Sorry I don't mean to." Akiko apologized.

"It's okay I understand." Zack smiled.

"Can I have one of those hugs?" Akiko requested.

Zack smiled opening his arms as a large smile emerged across Akiko's face, and she smothered him with her breast. She released him, and he swam away rapidly launching out of the water.

"You're still naive."

"That's too much venom darling."

"If you don't get proper control on the dosage you could damage the essential parts, and your efforts will be in vain."

"Someone should guide her through the breathing techniques again."

Akiko looked at her tentacles with concern touching them carefully before looking up into the sky. Zack closed his eyes trying to trail his essence, but the only place with a resemblance was the northern forest. Zack flew over the city passing by a few of the demons on patrol and landed close to the mountain. Looking around he saw Eve walking through the forest, and followed behind.

"Have you seen Vicente around here?" Zack asked.

"He passed through an hour ago with Ren and some of his soldiers. Do you have a minute to spare?" Eve requested.

"Of course. Is something wrong?" Zack investigated.

"No, I just wanted you to see this," Eve replied leading him through the forest.

They followed a trail leading to a clearing with several large flowers budding. On the right were three pink ones, and on the left three white. When they returned from Eve's former home she gifted Christina the seeds her comrades left behind. With the help of her workers, they distributed them through some quiet spots in the forest with good lighting. Zack could sense the life growing within them, and recognized the species.

"I thought alraune, and liliraune took a decade to bud. The fields are one thing, but this is crazy." Zack stated.

"It only takes a long time in the wild due to the lack of mana in the area, and they have to fight with many species for their nutrients. With the mana radiating everywhere, and the divine tree within the range they are developing quickly. There are a few myconid growing by the mountain, but the rate seems slower since they're farther out. I've been doing daily checks, and everyone seems healthy." Eve told Zack with a smile.

"That's good to hear. How are things with Athlan going?" Zack asked.

"Are you jealous?" Eve teased.

"You know it," Zack replied with a playful smirk.

"He's a very caring lover, and I'm really happy," Eve said with a gorgeous smile.

"I'm happy to hear that. I gotta go find Vicente so I'll see you tonight." Zack replied as he floated up towards the canopy.

Zack flew high into the air meditating while floating above the city. He checked on Destiny's condition and made sure the egg was secure. With both of them in stable conditions, Zack began focusing on pinpointing Vicente's aura. It didn't take long to find him, and Zack was attempting to teleport to him. Zack disappeared momentarily but showed back up a few feet away.

'Damn it I still have problems doing it in unfamiliar areas.' Zack looked around in frustration.
