I look at the president, and the president looks at me.
" Seems like doing it the normal way doesn't work?" The president looks at me with a smile that doesn't reach her eyes.
".... I guess we have to do it my way then.." An evil smile creeps on my face.
1 hour earlier
"Ashely!!! Why are you still together with her!!! You know that she is a liar!!! She lied to me so that I will hurt you!!!!" The person who speaks on the other side of the phone is Qiu Cyril.
Ashely, listen to that man babbling without any expression. Of course, she knew what Scarlett had done to her before had caused her a lot of hurt and humiliation. But, what right does this man has to put all the blame on Scarlett when he doesn't even care about her until he knows the truth??
She still remembers the day when she lives as his wife in his house, yet even the maid doesn't have any respect for her. A mere maid dared to ruins her clothes, sabotaged her food, and locked herself outside of the house despite she is the wife of the master of the house.
Cyril, her first love, and the man who supposed to be her husband treat her like an object, humiliating her whenever there is a meeting with important people, showing her to his friends, and let them harass her sexually, then blame it all on her for being a slut despite he was the one who forced her to become like that.
The aura around Ashely becomes heavier as she closes her eyes. Cyril is still talking none stop, convincing her that she made a mistake when getting close to Scarlett. He said a lot of bad things about Scarlett. After a long time, Ashely grits her teeth and slammed her desk angrily.
"WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ALL OF THAT ABOUT HER HAH!!?? she clenched her first as her eyes become cold. " THAT'S RIGHT!! SHE HURT ME BEFORE!!! THAT'S BECAUSE SHE LOVED YOU BEFORE AND THOUGHT I WAS THE THIRD WHEELER IN HER RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU!!!"
"Ashley I— AND WHAT ABOUT YOU!!!?? TELL ME, ARE WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME IS BETTER THAN HER? NO!!! YOU ARE WORST!!! SHE DID SAY TO YOU TO TREAT ME BADLY BUT DID SHE TOLD YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO ME?? NO!! IT WAS ALL YOURS!!!"
"YOU TREAT ME LIKE AN ANIMAL WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR WIFE!! YOU TOLD ME TO WEAR SEXY CLOTHES AND TOLD ME TO SIT WITH YOUR FRIENDS KNOWING THAT THEY WILL HARASSED ME, AND YET....and yet..." Ashley started to choke on her words as her eyes become red.
"You know what... Goodbye—Wait!!!" Without waiting for his next words, Ashely hangs up her phones without a second thought. She leans on her chair and let out a heavy sigh while crossing her arms. Suddenly, a notification on her email popped up on her phone interface. It was from Cyril.
The email he sent is a recording. Ashley wants to ignore the records, but what's written under the email makes her eyes trembled as her heart shaken uncontrollably.
[This is proof that Scarlett doesn't love you. She is having sex with one of her new Secretary before she is on her way to meets you today].
Then, another message appeared. [That person she is having sex with was Serena Williams]
When Ashely saw the next message, her pupils narrow as her breathing become heavier. With shaky hands, she taps on the recording file while in her heart, she keeps praying for the recording to be fake.
But, what she heard for the next 30 minutes had crushed her heart into a million pieces.
Her eyes dimmed, as she looks down at her leg. She feels so alone and wants to cry, but she can't even produce any tears. She feels so hopeless. That voice, she has heard of it for so many times, talking to her, whispering in her ears... But, when she heard the same voice that's not directed to her but someone else... She becomes speechless.
"Did everything that she says to me a lie? Did she never love me all this time? Did she approach me just to hurt me and for her interests... Am I just a plaything for her..." Ashley is so taken aback when suddenly, her work phone rings.
Ashley stares at the phone, only after 2 minutes does she picked up the phone.
"Miss Ashely... Miss Scarlett is here to meet you, should I allow her to come up?" It was a woman's voice. This person is the one who works behind the counter at the entrance of the company. If not mistaken, her name is Carla.
Ashley's body trembles strongly as her red eyes become cold. "Is she alone?"
"Ah, No.. She is with her Secretary. Her name is Serena".
When Ashely heard the familiar name again, she unconsciously holds the phone tighter in her hand as she grits her teeth." Tell her that I'm busy! I don't want to meet any visitor today". And after that, she hangs up the phone and put it in the original place with a loud bang.
"Fuck..." Ashley rubs her face while she bit her lips not realizing she bites a little too strong and blood comes out.
5 minutes later, the phone rang again. Ashley curses but still picks up the phone but, unlike Carla with a calm voice before, right now her voice sounds more panicked, and loud noise can be heard in the background.
"Miss Ashely!!! Those people have gone mad—gyaahhh!!!" The sounds of Carla and a man's screams overlap with each other which shocked and hurts Ashely's ears at the same time!
"Ahhh!!! Sorry!! President will pay for your medical bill!!!" It was Serena's voice.
"You are mad!!! You really are mad!!! Don't think I will not call the police!!!" Carla shouts again.
"Hey!! I did warn him not to pull my backpack!!! He brought this upon himself!!!" President!!! You go first!!! Use this key to open the door!!! I'll hold the guards!!! Oh!! And please take care of my bag pack!!!"
"Miss Ashley!!! Miss Scarlett has gone mad!! She is on her way towards you!!! What should we do!!?? She is the President of the Sol company!! The guard didn't dare to touch her!! And her secretary is fighting all the guards!!! They are crazy—HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH BOW DOWN TO ME PHEASANT!!!!!" and the phone is abruptly hung up.
Ashley becomes speechless as she stands like a statue while looking at the door. After what feels like 10 minutes... The door was opened, and the face of the person who said she loves her appeared.
"Ashley..." That person's soft voice makes her heart tremble with excitement, but, when she remembered that Scarlett is using her, Ashley becomes gloomy again.
Ashley stares at Scarlett's face with a blank expression, but if you look closer, you will see the hurts in Ashely's eye. Ashley is too caught up in her emotions, she didn't even hear the door was locked by Scarlett.
Scarlett is getting closer and closer. With her beautiful face, her sharp expression, the blazing red hair, Ashely knows that she is drawn towards Scarlett, but she takes a few steps back as if she wants to get away from Scarlett. No words could describe her feelings of hurts right now and she doesn't even dare to look at Scarlett's face.
Still, deep in her heart, she hopes that Scarlett will hug her and comfort her, telling her that everything is a misunderstanding telling her that everything is not like what you hear. Telling her that everything is alright but, after a long time, she doesn't get any of that.
When Ashley raises her face, she sees that Scarlett is looking at her. Scarlett's 'eyes are dark, and she is taller than her so when Scarlett looks at her like that, she can't help but feel a little weak. Ashley was about to open her mouth when Scarlett put the backpack on the floor beside her desk then, she takes out the phone in her pocket before passing it to Ashely.
Ashely frowns as she glares at Scarlett and refuses to look at what's inside the phone. "Aren't you hiding something from me?" She speaks between gritted teeth. "Cyril sent me a voice recording of you having fun with your secretary".
"Wifey, I...—DON'T CALL ME THAT!!! " Scarlett was taken aback when Ashely raises her voice.
"AM I A JOKE TO YOU!!! I AM NOT YOUR PLAYTHING!!! HOW COULD YOU...how could you..." She can't hold it anymore. Her tears fall from her eyes as she lost her words. Ashely stares at Scarlett's expression that didn't change at all from the moment she steps into her office.
"I bet you didn't feel guilty at—UMpHh!!??" In the next 10 minutes, Ashely isn't given any chance to speak when she is kissed by Scarlett.
"Sto—p...umphh!!!" Ashely tried to break away from Scarlett's arm, but Scarlett is stronger than her. Ashely was easily dominated by Scarlett and pushed to sit on her chair as her legs become weak from the lack of oxygen.
"You... Stop...Ah!!" Ashely can't help but feels her face becomes hot when Scarlett starts to rubs all over her body while pressing her on the chairs and putting her knee between her legs. The kiss becomes deeper and she was only given a few seconds of breath between each kiss.
After what feels like an eternity, the kissing finally stopped. The disheveled looking Ashely could only look at Scarlett weakly with ragged breath. Scarlett gives a really warm and satisfied smile to Ashely while showing her phone to Ashely again.
Ashely wants to turn her head, but her chin is pinched slowly by Scarlett from the side, forcing her to looks at the video. She wants to cry again when she heard the same voice from the recording that Cyrill sent her. "Stop... How long are you going to torture me like this..." Ashely closes her eyes as tears start to fall again.
"I'm not torturing you... I'm trying to show you what happened today". Scarlett's soft voice sounds in Ashely's ears. "And also... To prove my love for you today". Whispered Scarlett.
Slowly... Ashely opens her eyes, bracing herself to look at the video, expecting that her worst nightmare will come true only to feel stupified for the next few minutes. "Huh?" Ashely stares at the video than at Scarlett's face in the hope of an explanation.
"This is her Idea. Apparently, someone puts a recording device in my car. She also told me that someone is following me". Scarlett looks at the wide-eyed Ashely with a soft expression as she explains slowly at her.
" Serena wants me to pretend like we are having sex to give them false information. At the same time, to avoid their suspicion about whether Serena is working with them or with me". And, then Scarlett gives a little peck on Ashely's red and tear-stained cheek.
"I'm sorry for hurting you..." Scarlett starts to kiss the tongue-tied Ashely again. After a few minutes, the kisses become deeper, and the atmosphere inside the office changed.
They almost took the situation to the next stage when Scarlett's phone rings. Scarlett rolls her eyes and wanted to ignore the calls but the caller seems to never want to give up as the phone keeps ringing.
Scarlett grumbled as the good mood is destroyed by the annoying rings. She looks at the blushing Ashely with a sad face before picking up the phone and saw the familiar name on the phone. "Ah. I forgot about her!"
Scarlett slaps her forehead when Ashely asked with a tired voice. "Who?"
"Serena..." Scarlett answer Ashley's question with a smile before answering the phone. From the sound of it, the situation on the other side of the phone is really chaotic as there is a lot of noise.
"Yo prez... I'm sure you are having fun just now. I was planning to give you more free time— JUST GET TO THE DAMN FUCKING POINT!!!" A man's voice cut off Serena's word.
"Chill will you!! Did your parent never thought you to shut up when someone is talking?" Serena retort before continuing to talk with Scarlett.
"Anyway... The police come and I got caught. I'm still inside the company, so... Can you like. Tell your girlfriend and tell them that everything is a misunderstanding?"
"WHAT MISUNDERSTANDING!!! YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW WHEN YOU BREAK INTO THIS PLACE, YOU GOT INTO A FIGHT WITH THE GUARDS HERE AND BREAKING THE PROPERTY OF THIS COMPANY!!!" The man shouts again.
"Hey!! I'll admit the first two but the last one!! That was not my fault!! it's the guard's fault!!! And stop interrupting someone when they are talking!! That's rude!!!"
" Anyway President!!! Can you hurry up? I don't really like being cuff, especially if that person is an old man!!"
"HEY!!! AT LEAST THIS OLD MAN IS KIND ENOUGH TO LET YOU MAKE THIS CALL!!"— *Tup*
And the phone was hung up abruptly. Scarlett stares at her phone for a few seconds before looking at the confused looking Ashley.
" what did she do?" Ashley asked with a tilted head.
"Let me clarify... First, this is her idea..." Scarlett smirks at Ashley, only to receive a scrutinizing stare from her Ashley.
".... You know what... Let's go!" Scarlett then fixed her hair and clothes and wait for Ashley to do the same before they went to Serena together.
