Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Dominic POV:

I had just gotten a call from my best friend. He has a lead on my daughter. I've learned not to get my hopes up. After 15 years and all of our leads none of them came close to the real Olive. My princess.

When she was born I made a promise to myself that I would do whatever I possibly could to keep her away from this cruel war and the dangers that lay in it. I failed her. I failed my only daughter. I failed my princess. Then I remembered what Sean had just told me. He had a lead in Chicago.

I hopped out of bed and made my way to the rest of the family. The boys and my beautiful wife. "Family meeting in the living room!" I shouted with a bit of urgency.

"What's up baby?" Isa asked with her beautiful blue doe eyes.

"Dad?" Anthony my eldest son questioned.

"Everyone pack your bags. We're going to Chicago." With that I walked upstairs with Isadora following.

"Baby! It's her birthday we can't go anywhere today." She said with a single tear rolling down here cheek.

I swiped her tear and smiled, "We found a lead."

"You did?" she whispered, "How do you know it's not another hoax?"

By now she was sobbing into my chest making my heart contract. "I have a feeling this time Is. I don't know how and I don't know what. But I know that she IS out there. And she IS waiting for us. We're going to find her baby. We're going to bring her back home. Our princess will be with us soon."

As soon as all of us were packed we made our way to our private jet. We sat in silence as it took off. All eight of us sitting here with our thoughts blowing around our heads like tornadoes.

"Do you really think it's her?" Damien asked.

"Probably not. Probably some whore wannabe. No one can replace my angel." Lorenzo said with malice.

"Enough Enzo. We'll figure it out when we see the girl. Seems sure on this one."

Soon enough our plane landed and we were on our way to meet Sean at our hotel. Anthony was my heir to the mafia throne, he was engulfed in his phone showing no interest of anything else. It may have been quiet but I could still hear Romeo and Roman whispering in the backseat. "I have a feeling it's her," Roman stated.

"I think we all do Ro," Romeo said monotone, "But it's best not to get our hopes up."

I haven't heard anything from Gio or Damien the whole trip. It is still her birthday and I pray to god that we see her soon.

Since the day she was kidnapped my three oldest boys all blamed themselves for her kidnapping. Damien has definitely taken it the hardest, he and Olive had always had the closest bond. At sometimes even the boys would get jealous. But since that day Damien had never been the same. He closed himself off and completely drowned himself in his studies. He's 25 and he's the chief of medical in my mafia. He rarely speaks and keeps to himself. It took Isadora 7 years before she stopped crying every night. I pray we find her soon, not just for her sake, but for our lives to have their sun back.

We pulled up to the five-star hotel in downtown Chicago. We gave the keys to the valet and made our way to the lobby where Sean was standing with our room keys.

"Why do you think it's her?" Isadora asked.

"It's just a slut," Romeo said with no interest shown whatsoever.

"Where is she?" I asked ignoring the questions popping up.

"Well you see... she may have ran away." Sean said looking at his shoes.

"Mmm, maybe not a slut," Romeo said.
