How can I nullify this damn magic, huh?! But, Killian believed in me. I know I can do it.
Inhale. Exhale. I sat down and put both of hands on the ground. I closed my eyes, focusing on nullifying the magic. I can feel being light and free.
"Lenria!"a beautiful yet pale woman rush up to me. I quickly gestured her to stop with my hand. Thankfully, she stopped.
"Who are you? Why am I here?" I looked around, to see the man in my head too.
"Killian!" I stood up and ran behind him.
"Princess Lenria, she is your mother." Killian said, while grabbing my hand and putting me in front of the woman.
Killian, is now calling me Lenria. So, I am really the Princess. I looked at the woman who's my so-called mother. She looked at me genuinely.
"Mother?" She then nodded while tearing up. She open her arms, expecting a hug.
Killian put his hand on my shoulder, telling to go at my mother. So I did. I walked up to her, accepting her hug. My mother hugged me tightly, like she's been longing for this.
"My Lenria, my dear sweet Lenria." She, then, rubbed my back and patted my head, while crying.
"Thank you, Killian."I escape from my mother's embrace and looked at him. Killian only stared at me, and quickly bowed to my Mother and left.
"Killian, wait...!" I was going to catch up on him, when mother stopped me.
"Lenria, he needs to rest. He used a lot of mana to help you." Mother said, so I nodded.
"You need to rest, you must be shocked about the sudden meeting of me." she patted my head and guide me to the bed again.
"Where's my wife?!"
We heard a man shouting behind the doors. However, he then burst in my room, looking at me then back to mother.
"Ainsley, you shouldn't come in like that." Mother scolded him, then the man filled his face with regret.
"I'm sorry, my love." He then walked up to mother. So, King Ainsley is my father.
"Father...?" He then looked at me, hesitant to come near me.
"It's okay..." mother reassured him.
"Lenria, my dear." I felt warm hands on my cheeks.
"I'm so happy you're back, to me, to your mother, to the whole Kingdom." Hearing that made me feel joy.
"Ainsley, Lenria needs to rest first..." Mother said, then Father nodded.
"Rest well" They both said and left the room.
After they left, I quickly rushed to open the door, to see if someone is still outside. Luckily, there's no one. I took a scarf to cover myself.
I need to see Killian.
I silently open the door and rushed out. I ran to each hallways, avoiding Knights.
"Did you hear the Princess is back?" Suddenly three knights approaching there's no way to hide. I was going to turn back, when someone grabbed my shoulder from behind.
"Come with me..." Who's this guy?
"Who are you?" I asked. He laughed a bit.
"Princess, you're hurting me." he put his hand on his chest, acting hurt.
"Marquis Henry?" I said.
"Finally, so you remembered. I thought Killian brainwashed you." He laughed again.
"Excuse me? Why whould he do that?"I smacked his hand on my shoulder.
"I don't know, maybe because he wants to keep you to himself." he shamelessly said.
"What-what are you talking about? Can't you just take me to him?"I said in a flustered way.
He laughed again, he's having fun teasing.
"I'd like to bring you to him, but he left again" Marquis Henry said.
"He what?"I furiously said and slightly pushed Marquis Henry.
"He went back to Crusthane City..." again? Is he still searching Sir Adair?
I growl angrily, I went back to my room stomping, leaving Marquis Henry behind. I can hear him calling my name, but I didn't looked back. The only thing in my head is why is Killian always leaving me behind? Does he not feel guilty?
I jump on my bed and rolled around, kicking the blankets furiously. I grabbed the pillow, covering it on my face, and finally letting out my scream.
Sighs. Is it because I'm a princess?
After that, Lenria finally fell asleep.
Killian went back to Crusthane, still searching for his father. He did felt guilty leaving Thalia, but he knows Thalia will be safe there. It's for her own good.
"When I come back, she'll totally ignore me." He muttered.
"Killian, you can drop me here." Lady Victoria said.
Lady Victoria had gone back to Crusthane city with Killian, because Marquis Henry said so. The Marquis wanted Lady Victoria to be safe on his Estate.
"Yes, Lady Victoria. Please be safe on your way to the Estate doors." Killian said, and Lady Victoria nodded and bid farewell.
Back to Lenria, who's nicely sleeping, but got interrupted.
Knock knock.
"Princess, I'm the Head Maid." she said. I groan and sit up.
"Come in." I gently said. The door opened revealing the Head maid with four other maids behind her.
"Your Highness, I'm the Head maid Aimar Deighton, and these maids will help you bathe."
"Eh? I can bathe myself." I said. I gestured the maids to leave, but they didn't.
"Princess, the King and Queen ordered us, to make you feel at home in the Kingdom, so we're doing everything to feel home and refresh." The Head maid said.
"Fine, just for today. I'm going to tell Mother about this later." I said, and the Head maid nodded.
